Park View Place is a cute, cozy, farmhouse style house 2 bedroom 1 bathroom 1 level with a small yard, multiple parking spaces in the front of the home with wheel chair access ramp to the front door. It is located in the small town of Casey, Illinois within 4 blocks of The World's Largest Things. The house is also located just across from the Fairview Park that has 2 fishing ponds stocked with Trout, a playground, a horse arena, camping area and ball fields. The neighborhood is very nice. There is a Ring Doorbell at the Front Door of the Property. We also offer a new 6 seater golf cart available for rent to our 3 houses on a first come first serve basis.

Great Stay

Our stay here was wonderful. It was great to be so close to town, we could walk to the attractions. The park across the street was great for our kids. They also enjoyed fishing there. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting.

Wonderful Property

My 83-year-old Aunt and I were in the area to see a show in Effingham. This property in Casey was a perfect place to stay. We were able to find most of the Biggest things and enjoy some great restaurants. Lisa was a wonderful host and her property does not disappoint!

State Track Meet

Great trip to a small town

House was as nice as the pictures looked. Quiet area. Very comfortable beds. Would stay here again. We would prefer the TV not be up so high.

Candy Canes Girls Trip

The house was perfect for my friends and I, a total of 5 girls. The location was close to all of the big things and right across from the amazing park. The property had everything we needed! We are already talking about getting it again next year for the same weekend! The town had an adorable festival called candy canes on main and we all loved it! The owner was great with instructions checking in and checking out!

Perfect Location

The house was adorable, comfortable, and very close to town and park. I have used VRBO often and always had a contact# or email for host. I had to go thru VRBO customer service to reach host. She was very nice and helpful when I finally reached her with questions , but I spent 40 minutes on hold.

A very fine place with a park view

Lovely place with the Park across the road, which is beautiful as well. Kitchen is smallish but just right for the two of us and it had all the items we needed for a stay. Bath was nicely done and well lit. We slept in the main bedroom and got along with the too tall bed (we are both 5ft 6in) so getting ourselves without a step was a problem, but we made due. Only real complaint would be the utility closet near the dining table. When the A/C came on during meals you may as well wait to carry on a conversation. But it doesn't run often and so we were fine with it. Owner was very helpful via the VRBO app (texts). So a very nice stay for our 44th anniversary in a nifty small town. If you are considering it, just stay here at this place. It's a keeper.

So clean nice and cozy!

Great place. Stay ready. Comfy bed. So organized for such a quaint space. Host very responsive to messages. My only suggestion is to post check out responsibilities. We were literally on our motorcycles ready to leave when I read that they wanted the sheets going in washer. It is a totally appropriate expectation..just did not know early enough. Also with the great selection at the Butcher, consider adding a little grill. That place was was one!

Perfect!

This spotlessly clean charming rental is across the street from a large beautiful park. Casey, IL was our “base camp” for an event nearby. It is a sweet little town with interesting small shops and the distinction of having some of the largest things in the world. The 6 person golf cart that the owner has available for a very reasonable fee, was a FUN way to explore. This as one of the best VRBO experiences I have had. We are already talking about a return trip. Thank you, Lisa

Perfect Little Home Away from Home

My childhood friend and I stayed here for a too-short weekend. The property was just right. We had plenty of space to sit and chat, plus waterfront views! ;) We made dinner in one evening, and the kitchen was well stocked with items to do so. The home was cozy, and all the decor was just right for the home. We walked around the town and saw many of the World's Largest Items on display. We enjoyed the darling shops in town as well. The beds were dreamy and comfortable.
