Come enjoy the beautiful views of Culebra and St. Thomas from the rooftop balcony of this cozy house on a hill, located in a quiet family neighborhood.
It is a 10-minute walk to the beach and close to all amenities in town. The location is very kid and athlete friendly, with a public playground, basketball court and baseball field visible from the house.
There is excellent internet reception.

View of the ocean from the roof is amazing. Great rooms with individual AC kept us cool. Nice stocked kitchen and convenient laundry. A great place to stay up and away from the noise in town.

Room for 7 people with a great host - Very responsive and accommodating. The rooftop and porch were great hang out areas for our family. Would stay here again if we come back to the island.

We were here in the middle of March and it was humid. The AC in the bedrooms kept the bedrooms cool but not the main space. There were fans supplied to move the air around. The porch was lovely and got a good breeze. It was small but fit our family of 4 just fine. My daughter loved seeing the chickens pecking around.

Simona’s house was just right for accommodating our group of 7. The location is close to the ferry and close to town. We enjoyed the tvs in the bedrooms as well as the cold a/c

Nice property!

The house has room for up to 7 people, is comfortable and clean. It has a nice patio where you can grill and sit with friends and family. The house is not on the touristy area, so if you are looking to be walking distance form restaurants this is not for you, if you don't mind, the house is quiet and well kept. I will totally recommend this to friends and family.

Quick Family Vacation

We really enjoyed staying at the house & were so happy with communication & helpfulness of the host. It’s manageable but quite a long walk from the ferry, especially with luggage, so I would advise getting a taxi.

Enjoyable and comfortable stay

We loved our time in Vieques and Simona’s place was a great base for our trip, well equipped and comfortable. We were able to check in early as soon as our morning ferry arrived and really appreciated the flexibility. Communication was great and always clear. Recommend getting a taxi from the ferry terminal if you have bags, especially on a hot day!

Great house, great host

This house was just what we needed for our vacation on Vieques. The yard is well taken care of, too. There is a great view of the ocean from the rooftop. We would stay here again in the future. Just a tip - rent a car with good ground clearance since a lot of the roads around the island have deep potholes.

Beautiful

We were only on island one day. This spot was perfect for a home base while we explored the island. Enjoyed a beautiful sunrise in the morning with the roosters and some matcha from the roof. Wear bug spray. I made a lovely breakfast buffet for the squitossquitosmosquitos a lobuffet

Incredibly helpful host!

Simona was very communicative and helpful- she sent us the ferry link when tickets went on sale for our dates and helped us with contacts when our car rental fell through the night before we were due to arrive!

Great Home Base

We enjoyed this property and found it suited our needs very well. We are a family group ranging in age from retiree to college student. The facilities were as described, fast Wi-Fi, central Location, great water pressure! And Simona was very responsive to questions and resolving a water outage.

Two night trip w/2 families

We had a lovely 2-night stay at Simona’s place! I know addresses are not as straightforward on Vieques, but we had no issue finding the house. We actually walked from the ferry to the house without an issue (moderately strenuous half-mile). House was well maintained and had all we needed. Communicative host and accommodating, too! Thanks for having us!

Lovely Week

We really enjoyed our stay in Vieques. The house was exactly as advertised. The kitchen had some basic spices oils and such that were very helpful . The view from the roof of the ocean was very nice. We loved sitting on the patio playing cards. It was a quick walk to town (a bit hilly) but no complaints at all. It was nice not to have to find parking when we went down for dinner. The communication with Simone was excellent. She always responded immediately. Five stars!!!

Paradise Palms

Paradise Palms property in Vieques was exactly as advertised. Clean, 3 bedrooms, perfect for Vieques adventuring. AC more than adequate, kitchen clean and had all the basics. We could walk to town, it was quiet and felt very safe. The host, Simona, was prompt and thorough with communications, and genuinely seemed interested in providing us with the information we needed to navigate the Vieques scene. It is a *little* tricky to find, but to be fair we arrived at night in the pouring rain. It is probably much easier by daylight.

Delightful!

Really gorgeous deck and great breezes! The house is in a convenient location to Isabel Segunda(you can walk!) but it's QUIET! Except of course for the roosters-if you've ever been to Vieques you know there is no escaping that! You have beautiful view and very functional house. Very comfy and relaxed for a family. The neighbors are nice. The owner is very attentive and responsive. We'd stay again in a minute! Just really sort out your directions ahead of time and be sure of where you are going, pay attention to the photos in the directions!

Exceeded expectations!

We had a wonderful time staying at Paradise Palms in Vieques. The home is comfy, clean, and has everything you’ll need to establish a home base and on the island. I booked this mainly because it could accommodate my family of 7, and had expectations that it would be good enough. It exceeded all of my expectations (A/C in the two main rooms that cool the entire place, good wifi, hot water with amazing water pressure, full kitchen with everything you need for cooking, full laundry on site, beach towels, grill, and the list goes on) you can see the water being on top of a hill, and have a great beach a few blocks away. The neighbors were friendly, and offered suggestions for places to visit during our stay. Simona responded immediately to any request, and was on top of everything with great communication. I will be staying here the next time I visit.

Peaceful

This was a great place for our family to stay while visiting Vieques. It was clean, comfortable, peaceful and convenient. Centrally located, with a car rental (Recommended by the property owner)we were able to explore the whole island easily. We had different adventures each day. Beaches, hikes and drives were close and easy to find. Simone was easy to communicate with and helpful with our planning for our trip. She sent us car rental and ferry info in advance which really helped our transportation planning. We enjoyed the wildlife (especially the chicken family and iguanas!) The home was so quiet at night that we could hear the ocean! Gas grill and washer and dryer were great bonuses! Just a nice experience for our family vacation! Can’t wait to return to this amazing island and it’s great people! And we would love to stay at Paradise Palms again! Thank you!

Disappointing

First and foremost: this property is NOT walking distance to the beach. Since that is the main reason we picked it we were not happy. The property had the bare minimum to qualify for a vacation rental. No effort had gone into decorating or furnishing it. The sparse furniture was cheaply made. The toilet in the hall wobbled when you sat on it. The window screens were matted with dead insects. The stairs to the roof had a broken railing and were blocked off by caution tape. The provided beach chairs were rusty and shabby. One of the window shades was held up by a plastic hanger. There were no drinking glasses (only mugs). The floors and surfaces were very clean, and the A/C was top notch.

Dear Julie, Thank you for the review. The property is clear about the walking distance to the beach (10 minutes). This is by personal experience and also according to google maps calculations. We are not offering luxury amenities to keep the price as low as possible for bigger families. The interior of the house matches the published photos and guests have the opportunity to review it before booking. We detected the problem with the toilet seat during cleanup after your departure and replaced it. Had you told us about it during your stay, we would have replaced it immediately. The stairs to the roof were blocked off by caution tape and a sign warning against entry due to ongoing maintenance(fixed). Beach furniture isn’t offered in the description but can be provided upon request. We don’t offer drinking glasses to avoid injury risk if they were to break on the stone floor and were accidently stepped on by bare feet. Sincerely Simona

The property matches the description and is comfortable for a short stay. It has a beautiful view from the rooftop area and is located in a quiet neighborhood, though the roosters will make their presence known. Although it's not within walking distance to much, taxi services are available to shuttle you around the island. I would definitely recommend this property.

2 days was not enough! The location was great, a short distance from the beach, town, and the ferry. The outdoor patios were awesome with ocean views from both. The place included everything we needed and the Simona was very responsive and helpful! I’d definitely stay here again!

Problemas con encontrar la casa

El lugar está bien solo deben mejorar la ubicación porque no aparece en gps precisamente la casa deben poner un letrero en la cuesta señalando hacia dónde y frente a la casa. También hay cosas que deben reparar pequeños detalles como los operadores de las ventanas los escrines una de las duchas entre otras cosas.
