Come relax and enjoy this adorable cottage with the best location in the Salt Springs Resort. You will appreciate the gorgeous views and lovely breeze from Little Lake Kerr. Cottage #21 is one of the few cottages available for rent from which you can watch the sunset over the lake every night directly from your front patio.

This 720 sq foot 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage
has everything you need for a comfortable stay including: kitchenware for cooking, gas stove/oven, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, blender, pool towels, board games, tennis raquets & pickelball paddles, poker set, outdoor gas grill and picnic table, cable TV & wifi. Comfortably sleeps 4, but can accommodate 6. Inquire in advance as we can provide a nice queen sized inflatable mattress.

Resort amenities start just 100 steps away from home to the two pools and waterfront including hot tub, game room, volleyball, pickleball, corn hole, horseshoes, shuffleboard, fire pit and more! Bring your boat; there's plenty of parking and a boat ramp on site.

Within walking distance are a Dollar General, post office, the Square Meal for breakfast or lunch, Salt Springs Pizza, post office, hair salon and laundromat. Other nearby restaurants like Maxine's Kitchen, The Grill Out, Odd Todds & Cactus Jacks are a few minutes drive away.

Explore the local area: Salt Springs Recreational Area is across the street and nearby is the Salt Springs Marina where you can launch your boat into the run that brings you to the St. John's River. Juniper, Silver Glen, Silver Springs and Alexander Springs are all within a short drive. Bring your snorkel masks from home and spend a few hours at each spring. No two are alike. Like hiking? Bass fishing? Dirt biking, 4x4'ing (trails begin across the street!) Spectacular sunsets? It's all here!

There's ample parking at the cottage for 2 vehicles including a boat/trailer. Note that Salt Springs Resort charges a one time check-in fee for up to 2 vehicles of $20. We do charge a one time cleaning fee of $50.

Great cabin with great location!

We have stayed at this cabin a few years back and was our favotite, the location is perfect. It has been upgraded and i was so surprised there was availability for July 4th.

Out the door lake view

The cottage has a great view of the lake and great location for the amenities of this resort, but unfortunately, while our boat was parked, some items became missing. Host is great. Place is nice and clean. Just keep your stuff locked up.

Weekend at the Lake

Perfect little waterfront cabin. Clean and perfect location for a weekend on the lake. Beautiful view of little Lake Kerr out the front window and screened in porch to sit out and enjoy the view. We brought our golf cart and boat and had an awesome stay. Campground is clean and everyone is super friendly. Krista was very great in communicating and we are ready to book our next stay there.

Cabin 21 is clean, well-equipped, very nice. It is close to pools and lake, actually most activities that can be enjoyed on your Salt Springs Resort vacation. Three very close options for eating out: Square Meal, Salt Springs Pizza, and The Grill Out-don't order a double burger unless you're starving.

Nice holiday house

We went up with our two grandsons to enjoy the springs. The house was very nice and clean when we walked in. We were able to ride our bikes over to salt Springs. The kids and I enjoyed riding our bikes around the property. We paddleboard it on the lake right out front. I would definitely recommend this property. We normally camp, but we sold our RV. It was truly a pleasant stay and priced right. Oh, and the neighbors were very nice.

Great location, comfortable cabin, Super clean

We enjoyed our stay, had 2 of our grandchildren with us. Happy to see both pools open and very clean. Check-in super easy, cabin very clean and location is perfect. The ONLY complaint, the can opener is so dull, it didn't work at all.

We loved this rental unit

We couldnt have had a better time. The property is beautiful and the people were friendly and kind. The host was very accomodating and checked in with us, I would highly recommend this rental. I almost dont want to tell anyone about it so its still available for us to come back too.

Wow. Beautiful cottage

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was roomy, comfortable and has awesome AC. The front porch has a wonderful view of the shoreline. The pools were clean and crystal clear. Our dogs loved the dog Park. It was well maintained. We plan on returning to enjoy the area again. Worth every penny.

We enjoyed our stay at Salt Springs very much. We have a friends/family annual trip and we were lucky enough to book this cabin right next door to family. It was the perfect location - right across from the lake and pool. The cabin is very clean, updated, and welcoming. It’s very roomy! The screen porch is so nice to sit in the mornings and at sunset. Perfect view! We can’t wait to book this cabin again for next year’s trip!

Perfect Getaway

Krista's cabin was absolutely amazing for our little getaway. It was decorated so cute, everything was clean and it has everything that we could possibly need for cooking and relaxing. If we forgot something Krista had it. Check-in was a breeze and Amy at the Gate was the sweetest and so helpful letting us know about the area and best times to get to the springs. The view was beautiful to wake up to every morning and have coffee. The wildlife was so fun to watch. We played shuffleboard every day, went to the springs, utilize the pool and attempted horseshoes. There's just so much to do right across the street that we are going to have to come back. My boyfriend and I have been bragging to all of our friends about how amazing our trip was. We will definitely be booking again!

Convenient and Comfortable

This cottage worked well for family tasks we were tending to in Ocala and Silver Springs. The listing is accurate regarding the absence of a washer and dryer, as well as a dishwasher. Just a note to others looking at this property, none of these three appliances are available! We have grown so accustomed to them being present that I missed their absence when arranging this rental. We did use the laundromat near the cottage, but it's not the same as one on site! And dishes are not a big deal with a small group, but something to consider if you have a larger crowd! The cottage is comfortable and well equipped overall. Excellent communication with the owner.
