Spend your next vacation at "The Dolphin House," our beautiful 4 bedroom/3 bathroom home, while enjoying the Gulf of Mexico as your backyard! Pontoon Boat On-Site! Available for Rent

You will enjoy daily visits from dolphins, sting rays, and the occasional manatee. The private dock is the perfect place to fish or park your boat if you choose to bring one. There is a jacuzzi, a swimming pool, two large screened in areas overlooking the water, as well as multiple private docks for boating. This house is a fully furnished home with an upstairs and downstairs living room, a pool table, and bar. The entire space can sleep up to 10 people with three king beds, one queen, and a pull-out Murphy bed. The area is perfect for kayaking, scalloping, fishing (fish poles and tackle box ready to use), and sitting by the pool, soaking up the Florida sunshine!

Whether you're looking for a large space for your next scalloping trip or family get together or a more relaxing escape with nothing more on the agenda than sipping cocktails in the pool while watching the sun disappear into the Gulf, this is the perfect spot for you!

** This home is not suitable for those with mobility issues. The upstairs living area with kitchen is only accessible by exterior stairs.
**There is no interior staircase to connect the bottom rec room floor with the upper living area floor

Wonderful House with Dolphins & Manatees

We've stayed every year for the last 7 years. Best location with lots of space, right on the Gulf with a large dock and pool. We rented a pontoon delivered right to the dock and they picked it up at the end. Owners very responsive

Perfect getaway

Our stay at the Vrbo house in Hernando Beach was fantastic. The property features a dock where you can fish right off the back, making for an effortless and enjoyable fishing experience. We also loved the kayaking opportunities available, with easy access to calm and scenic waters that provided hours of exploration and fun. The house was well-equipped and comfortable, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.

Awesome Location

There were six adults in our party and we had plenty of room. The location was fantastic, we saw dolphins off the dock every day. Boat rental on site was a great bonus. The hosts were super accommodating and replied immediately with their responses. Would definitely go back.

Paradise by the water

We had an amazing two weeks stay, the weather was lovely and the house was perfect for what we needed .Nothing was too much trouble for our host.we had a minor problem with the pool and was sorted immediately.We saw so much wildlife from the dock and fished most days.Renting the boat was an added extra but thoroughly worth the money. Looking forward to our next stay.Will definitely return.

Hernando Beach Spring Break

We had an absolutely wonderful stay, you cannot beat the location and amenities. We docked our boat at the house, fished and kayaked off the dock. Enjoyed the pool and all the many seating options. Teens loved the downstairs rec room and bedrooms and us adults loved the upstairs and views. Kitchen had everything under the sun you could ever need. Will definitely stay here again!

Relaxing Week

The house was amazing for our family of 8 adults. Plenty of room to spread out. The outside area was so relaxing. Beautiful water view and plenty of wildlife. We added the pontoon to our stay and loved taking the boat to the flats each day and canal cruising in the evenings. The area of Hernando Beach was easy to drive around in. No waits at restaurants and plenty of shopping close by. The host were easily accessible and timely with answering questions. We would love to visit again!

Perfect Location

We had such a great time at this property. It was very comfy for our group of 8 adults. The location was great. Right at the end of the street so you were right on the gulf. Easy kayak to see the sunset and watch the dolphins play. The pool and hot tub were an extra bonus. Dave and Ashley were very accommodating. We will be back for sure.

Wonderful Location - New Boats!

This is our third time at this property. We love this amazing location. You literally take the boat and in five feet you are in the Gulf of Mexico. We loved the new addition of the two new rental boats - a pontoon and a Seadoo boat. Great addition to an already wonderful stay. Dave and Ashley were great hosts and the few things we forgot to bring they made sure we had. If you love relaxing on the Gulf Coast without the craziness of tourist spots - you will love this place! Our family looks forward to this trip every year!

Amazing Wildlife Views!

If you want to see tons of sealife activity, this is your place!!! We stayed 6 days and saw a wide aray of cool things just from the dock. Sting rays, dolphins, turtles, jumping fish, crabs etc. Enjoy the sunset from the canoe or kayaks, there's plenty of sun and shade on the back deck, and we thoroughly enjoyed the basement pool table and poker table. Renting the pontoon for a day to hit the sandbar was fantastic as well. Wonderful hospitality, beautiful home, we will surely stay here again. Thank you Dave and Ashley!

Family Spring break

My family and I stayed here for our spring break at the end of March. There were 8 of us. We felt we all had plenty of space, each family with our own bathroom. The house was clean, the owner was very responsive with any need we had. The pool set up was perfect for our younger kids. We saw dolphins almost every day swim by the doc. We fished from the doc every day for hours. I wished we would’ve taken the kayaks out sooner to watch the sunset, AMAZING. We will definitely be back!

Awesome Fishing Trip!

Returning guests and we loved the new pontoon boat. This was a guys fishing trip and usually we have to go rent a boat and it's a 20 - 30 min canal ride back to the house. It was awesome having the boat right there on the dock, ready to go - right on the Gulf. Pontoon was perfect for our needs and we even had some fun on the second boat, a Seadoo. Much easier to use than I thought and lots of fun. There are some excellent charter fishing guides in the area. House has everything you need to relax. Dave and Ashley took great care of us. We'll be back this summer!

Great location with amazing combination of features

This home is in a very quiet upscale neighborhood and has amazing features. The pool/patio area looks like a resort, 2 screen porch areas overlook the water, and the basement bar room with pool table provide lots of entertainment. We stayed for 5 weeks in Jan/Feb and saw dolphins almost every day. Fishing from the dock was productive but bigger fish were in deeper water or near the creeks so didn’t keep anything. Lots of great hiking trails and state parks in the area that were dog friendly (Weeki Wachee nature preserve is amazing). As a rental some aspects of the home are a bit tired and worn but hosts are very responsive and the location and features offset any negatives. We would definitely return and look forward to exploring more of the nature coast.

Great location!

This was an amazing rental for a long weekend. My Husband and I brought our boat and this home provided quick and easy access to gulf. Backyard was amazing and spent almost entire time downstairs between downstairs fridges, grill and pool within steps. Will definitely book this home again next year. Driveway is small - it truly only fits a boat trailer and truck. The Hosts also replied immediately with responses!
