The Victoria at Cape Wolfe is a contemporary two bedroom getaway sitting on two acres of land beside the edge of dunes with direct access to a long secluded beach. This hideaway offers families and friends a perfect place to unwind and relax. The home features a main room that includes the kitchen and sitting area with tv and fireplace and opens to a large glass railing deck facing directly west overlooking the beach and ocean sunsets. The master bedroom also looks out to the ocean and enjoys a modern ensuite with marble and glass shower. There are only four other cottages in the area (all well separated from each other - and none visible from the front views) offering wonderful privacy and tranquility rarely found in PEI.
The Victoria at Cape Wolfe is close to amenities in the nearby town of O'Leary (10 minutes) and the Mill River Golf Resort (15 minutes). The beach time, cape fires at the ocean side fire pit, cottage games on the filed, hiking and cycling on trails and backroads in the area makes this adventuring retreat second to none on PEI's still mostly undiscovered western cape.
Beautiful, picturesque place with outstanding sunsets. Overlooking one of the nicest beaches on the island, great for exploring. Easy access to the beach and some fun activities close by. All in all a wonderful relaxing holiday place.
Beautiful and comfortable stay! Cottage had everything we could want or need with easy access to the beach. Very family friendly, can't wait to visit again one day!
We really enjoyed our stay! The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It's tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and off the beaten path, with stunning views all around. A great spot to unwind and take in the beauty of the area.
Right on the edge of the beach! A quaint little getaway spot. We enjoyed our stay and made use of the dvd collection and board games in the closet. Thanks Dan and April!
This place was the perfect getaway to enjoy the quiet coast of PEI. Cozy, clean, just right for the two adult couples in our group. Easy access to the beach, everything we needed was provided. Thanks for a great stay!
Property and location were as described and were great. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. Wind and rain effects from the hurricane although not severe did prevent many activities which we and our pet would otherwise have enjoyed.Sunsets were gorgeous on several occasions and lobster boat activity both day and night out of nearby Howardâs Cove was very interesting and glad to see. Previous guests did pose some minor garbage/composting issues which were satisfactorily addressed by the host. Communication with the host throughout the rental process was excellent.
My wife and I, and our Border Collie, stayed for a week. We immensely enjoyed the expansive property and the access to a long red sand beach with cliffs sculpted into intricate shapes by wind and water. We enjoyed spectacular sunsets from the deck facing the sea. The two bedroom cottage was well equipped and attractively furnished. Beds were comfortable and the rain shower head was a treat. The place is off the beaten track, which for us was a good thing.
The property is beautiful, well kept and a little slice of paradise. OâLeary grocery and liquor stores are handy. Dan and April have a secret gem in the Victoria cottage. Can hardly wait to return! Great wifi and thoughtful touches.
This cottage is incredible, it had everything we needed and it's a clean and beautiful place. The glass panels on the balcony give you that amazing view from wherever you sit. We loved walking on the beach every day and it is in a nice quiet area but not too far to drive into town. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks to Dan and April for letting us enjoy your place.
Spent the week at Victoria with my two sons (6 & 12) - the memories made there will last us a lifetime. The beach, the view the sunsets, the warmth of the people in neighboring townsâŠjust a fantastic all around experience. Dan and April are wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable during our stay. A true home away from home.
This cottage is very well appointed and is quite elegant yet very homey. It is a lovely home and we were very excited to be staying here. It has everything! They have thought of many nice extras to make your stay a great experience. It's in a quiet area, without neighbors being too close in a very picturesque spot. You couldn't ask for anything more!
Unfortunately for us we were there during Hurricane Fiona. We were safe - I can confidently say the cottage is a newer construction and VERY sturdy! Fortunately for us Dan has great neighbors and friends who checked in on us. And Dan kept in touch with us frequently before and after the big storm. He is a great host!
In future, we plan to come back so we can truly experience PEI. And when we do we'll look forward to re-visiting this cottage. We would highly recommend it for sure! You won't be disappointed!
This property met and exceeded our expectations! The beach on the property is beautiful, sandy bottom, red rock cliffs â€ïž
The home was beautiful, bright and had everything we needed for our stay . I would definitely come back and I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in PEI â€ïž
Our family lives in the nearby City of Summerside. We are active people with two young active kids (who love to go to the beach house and roam the beach and forest for hours on end). We absolutely love the area and were so taken back by the sunsets, peacefulness and beach and surrounding areas to explore (hike, cycle, relax) that when we found the Victoria we knew we had to share it with others.
