We bought this house as a fishing getaway and now want to share it with others. Beautiful lakefront setting with a private dock and boat lift, this is a fisherman's dream. It also has a large back yard with plenty of privacy and room to park whatever you want!

The house was very comfortable for my spouse, our dog and me. Upgrades to the house made for an enjoyable stay. The neighborhood is very quiet and is a nice walking area. We were very close to family and getting around was easy. Due to our schedule, we only saw 1 sunset on the lake and it was beautiful.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay, super clean inside and really well stocked. Some wasps were around down by the dock and the outside areas could use a little love but we will definitely return. Great bakery just down the road as a bonus!

Beautiful View

Property is right on Lake Harris. Great for fishing, boating, kayaking, bird watching and beautiful sunsets. Very close by to Yalaha Bakery. House is comfortable and as pictured. It was our second time staying here.

The house was nice. The place would be great if you fished. Close restaurant and store for groceries. You definitely need a car there.

Nice getaway

Great place fully equipped with your everyday essentials,very clean inside but the outside needed a little TLC( lawn and cobwebs) we really enjoyed our stay and having the boat dock was a blessing. Highly recommend staying here and we will most definitely be back if it's available

Just what I was looking for, peaceful!

My family were looking to get away for a bit from Miami chaos and bond with nature and have beautiful peaceful views of the lake! This home was just what we wanted, not to big not to small and just right for all of us to hang out, focus on family, healthy and nature! Thank you for hosting us it was a wonderful experience!

Peaceful Getaway

This is a beautiful retreat with a peaceful nature of old Florida living. The home is very well appointed and the kitchen is very well stalked. A nice view of the Lake is very relaxing. We plan on coming back again.

Beautiful View

Great location, quiet street, on Lake Harris. House was just as described. Warm and comfortable, with many helpful things such as hangers, towel racks and even some food and beverages. Bedding was very comfortable. And only a mile from Yalaha Bakery, a must visit.

Couldn't get any better!

Just what we wanted. House was SPOTLESS and provided everything we needed for a great stay. We caught big bass directly off the private dock. Owner was easily available to help with a minor problem. We plan to stay there again.

This was our second time at the property and we were very pleased. There is a dock and good fishing right there. We caught big bass from that dock! The house is very nice -- not just a fisherman's cottage! We experienced no problems which is the best thing to say about any getaway.

Best stay in town

The property is as described if you want to spend a week or weekend and enjoy the Harris chain of lakes this is a great place. Ample dock space for a boat or two or three even. The house itself is nicely done and spotless clean inside. There is plenty of room behind the house to park your truck and trailer and a boat ramp 8 minutes away. The host was outstanding very quick to respond to any question. I will be using this house many times this summer for sure.

Very peaceful and relaxing!

We were just looking for a peaceful lake view property to relax for a couple days! The lake house did not disappoint! We don’t have a boat, but if you do have a boat, the location couldn’t be better! The Lake is beautiful! We felt right at home! And may I say you have to make a stop at the German bakery, just a few miles away for awesome pastries and authentic German lunch meats and breads! I would recommend this property to anyone just wanting a peaceful getaway!

My family has enjoyed many fishing vacations at this house and now I'm looking forward to sharing this peaceful property and world class fishing with you! I currently live only a couple hours from the Harris Chain and put a lot of time and effort into maintaining and improving it, with a particular eye for the bass fisherman.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

At this beautiful home you'll enjoy direct access to Lake Harris from your own private dock. The next boat ramp is 8 minutes from the house: “Lake Harris Boat Ramp”.
There are 9 lakes on the Harris Chain, all of which can be accessed by boat from your front yard. There are also a number of public boat ramps if you prefer to start on Lake Griffin or Lake Eustis. And with a large back yard you can park up to 4 boat/trailers if your team is in town for a tournament.

If fishing isn't your passion, maybe sipping coffee on the front porch and admiring the scenery and wildlife will suit your fancy.

The Yalaha Bakery is also a big attraction and only 3 miles down the road. For delicious baked goods, coffee, breakfast, and lunch, as well as live music on the weekends you can't go wrong with the local bakery.
