Me and my friends stayed for the weekend to celebrate our friend getting married. This was an adorable place. There is a lot to do around the area, one of our event got rained out and we needed to find something else to do and it was not a problem at all.
This property was exactly what we needed for our weekend getaway - just enough room for the three of us & our dog - very short drive to everything we wanted to see, the home was clean and communication was smooth...highly recommend!
My Father and I stayed here while we were visiting the the Gettysburg battlefield. The place was great with plenty of room for us. It was close to the battlefield and other things to do.
Would definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay. The home was very clean and the furnishings were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Even thought it was on Old Rt 30, it was still very quiet and our dogs were able to feel safe and secure.
Close to everything we wanted to see, downtown gettysburg, the battlefield, & adams county winery.
Great location for historical sites. Nice, quaint home. Just what we needed. We had a small problem with Wifi and streaming TV but that was minor. I would stay here again.
We have stayed here before and had no problem
when deciding to return. The house is clean and comfortable. The only problem is the tub/shower, it is very
slick and needs to have tub mat and hand held bar for the tub/shower.
Overall the property and host were great. Could have been cleaned a bit more but nothing was repulsive. Washer and dryer are in a basement accessed thru the outside. Thankful for a husband who doesn't mind doing laundry! The couch pull out is not comfy. The beds (sleep 4) were not terrible.
This property was just as described. Super clean! Not sure who cleans this home but it was pristine. Location made traveling to Gettysburg National Park and downtown Gettysburg quick and easy. Home was well equipped with what we needed. Fast communication with owner. Checkin and checkout was super simple. Would definitely stay here again!
Very quiet, pretty neighborhood close to all the great things Gettysburg has to offer. The one small complaint is that we felt the washer and dryer were not very accessible as the bilco door they were behind had a lot of live spiders and webs covering the basement entry door and we had no way to clear them out. To also be fair, we did not want to bother the owners with that so that was our own choice as well.
We chose this location because is was close enough too town yet far enough away that we would be able to rest at night without the noise of bikes constantly! Very clean, a little on the smaller side, but it worked for ny family. My only real complaint is that there was not central air and we had to keep the bedroom window air conditioners on one specific setting. As that may be cool for some people, it wasnât for us, especially being in the mid 90âs temp wise. I would stay here again!
Don was very kind and helpful any time I msgd him prior to our trip!
Stayed for a quick trip to celebrate a family birthday. The house worked great for our family of 5. Very cozy! Sleeper sofa, two queen rooms, plenty of space. Window units were loud but was nice to have air flowing through the bedrooms. Tons of extra pillows, blankets, and linens. The screened in front porch was fantastic - great for morning coffee. Had space in the back and side yards for the kids to play around. Well stocked house - plates, cups, mugs, all the kitchen basics. Plenty of coffee pods - even hot cocoa! And it was really close to Gettysburg sightseeing and downtown. We would definitely stay here again!
