This is the first time that this house has ever been offered as a rental property. Located in a very private and secluded part of the lake. If you are looking for a peaceful and private lake home., you have found it. This home sits on the water and has a boat dock with two private slips. Boat rental is available at the Eddy Creek Marina that is only a 5 minute boat ride away. It has a semi private road that is perfect for joggers and walkers alike. You will love the evening sunset off of the back deck. Sits on 2 acre lot with several acres of privacy surrounding. You are assured to see an abundance of wildlife during your stay. 5 bedrooms with 10 beds and a crib that sleeps 16 plus plus 1 for the crib. It has 4 full baths. Plenty of activities such as pool table, air hockey, corn hole boards, spacious deck for grilling and watching the sunset, outdoor fire pit. There is a blink video doorbell on the front and an outdoor security camera on the back downstairs.

Great location and comfortable beds and pillows.Kids got to use the fishing rods and tackle and actually caught a nice sized catfish off the dock!

Amazing and gorgeous place to stay!

The house was amazing for our group of friends. Plenty of space, kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of fun things to do around the house and some of the best sunsets ever!! Nice and quiet and would definitely stay here again!

The house was beautiful. The only inconvenience was a local bridge was out and it caused longer travel issues to get to places. There was a lot of space for a lot of people for bigger gatherings.

House on the Lake

A beautiful home situated on a beautiful lakeside property. Our 3 families jogged, walked, fished, and watched beautiful sunsets from the deck. Rich and Sarah were wonderful hosts and suggested restaurants and activities that helped us have a wonderful vacation. We highly recommend this property.

Great Location

Very great place. Gave a 4 star review as the mentioned fire pit and grill are not useable and those in our family are must haves on a lake setting. The deck is a bit schetchy but seemed ok. A very great location.

Brian, I’m sorry to hear something was wrong with the grill. Can you please let us know what was wrong? We were unaware is wasn’t usable. We replaced it 2 years ago and we used it last month when we were there without an issue. We would have addressed it during your stay, had we known. There are two different fire pits. One is the black portable pit that can be moved around anywhere. There other one is down at the bottom of the hill..

House was fully supplied with all that was needed. House was clean & everything was in working order. House is located at a nice location on the lake. Would stay at this location again. Communication with owners was great they had fast response time when I reached out to them.

Family vacation

Our annual family vacation was almost ruined by a host of another property we had rented a year in advance cancelled on us. Lucky for us this wonderful property was available the week we had planned. Sarah & Rich were wonderful to deal with. The lake was great and the pontoon we rented from Eddyville Creek Marina worked great for our group & the house had a private dock for us. Lots of wonderful memories made.

Our Younger Days

My wife and I are from the area. We grew up there before Lake Barkley was a reality. We brought our kids and grandkids for some fun and history and the house was perfect for bringing us and local family together for great memories. Rich and his wife were perfect hosts. They took care of everything for us. We would rent the place again without hesitation.

Good Times

Interior was very clean. Exterior needs cleaning (spider webs, broken ceiling fans, lots of wasp nests - child was stung). Owner was very helpful and responsive. Internet was slow. All in, would stay again!

Thank you for your honest review. We rely on our cleaning staff to make us aware of any maintenance issues, as we live out of state. We just found out about ceiling fans on the same day you posted review. Ceiling fans have been replaced. Internet is the best option that is available in our area. Unfortunately at the end of the month speeds slow down. We would be happy to host you and family again.

Great time!

May well return to this same house. We take our children and grandchildren on a vacation every year (in this case 6 nights). We really enjoyed the house and the lake. Kitchen very well stocked with everything needed to cook with (except for the food of course). With six adults and two children, we kept the dishwasher and the clothes washer and dryer busy. We kept our 4 kayaks and fishing gear in the boat house with zero issues. One day we rented a pontoon boat. We plan on going to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge next year and we are talking about returning to this house in two years.

Lake Barkley house with dock

2 level house layout worked well for our group. Downstairs for Family with infant, and upstairs BR'S SPLIT floor plan with multiple bathroom was main reason for this selection. Covered docks were used.

Wonderful lakehouse experience.

Our extended family of 13 had a great time at this lakehouse. Everything was as expected and then some, with additional supplies provided and not expected. Great view, plenty of wildlife to watch, and lovely cove to unwind and relax. Thank you for sharing your home through VRBO. We would gladly visit again. Owners were easily accessible and very responsive.

Great for a family gathering!

Home is beautiful and perfect for a family get together. Large, well taken care of as advertised but better. We really enjoyed staying, the area is quiet and right on the lake. Had a little trouble finding the driveway but Sarah answered the phone and guided us to it. Hosts could not have been more accomodating. Will definitely consider staying there again.

Lovely home.

My family and I had a wonderful Christmas here. The owners are nice and respond to questions promptly. We did not experience any problems or issues during our stay. The kitchen is well stocked, and everything is in working order. The house is located on a very quiet, secluded part of the lake. Wonderful trip!

Beautiful Lakefront Property

I had the great privilege of using the beautiful yard and dock of this house to propose to my girlfriend. It was everything I could’ve asked for and more and I’m so grateful that it was available. The house is exactly like the pictures on the website if not more beautiful. The host was very kind and accommodating to my request to have a celebration with my friends and family in the house after the engagement. He was also very quick to respond when I had questions. Everyone that stayed the night at the house thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The only thing that wasn’t clear about the pictures on the website is that there is a very steep driveway that can make parking a little challenging for more than 4 cars. However, the host was very upfront about this and allowed my friends and family to park their cars in the grass on the top of the hill which worked out perfectly. I highly recommend this beautiful property to anyone! I hope that I will be able to return with my wife at some point after we get married to reminisce on our incredible engagement experience.
