What we anticipated but...

It is a well loved old farm house, with dated but comfortable furniture and appliances. Upon arrival there was a noticeable smell (we just purchased an odor eliminating air freshener to cover). The bunk house had a musty off-putting smell, so we opted not to use it. We didn't use the hot tub as we couldn't figure out how to turn it on/off. It is a no outlet street that is very busy. The traffic greatly exceeded the 20mph speed limit. We also encountered a gentleman on a golf cart who went by us then turned around and came back with his camera pointing at us. Assuming he was taking pictures or a video. When doing the required load of laundry before departure the washing machine seemed to be stuck in the rinse/spin cycle (we started it at 6:00am and it wasn't done at 8:00 am). We reached out to the owner to let them know. Overall the property served our purpose and we had a comfortable stay.

Weekend Golf outing

My wife and I rented this VBRO because it was close to the Grand Bear Golf Club. They are in the midst of a very bad drought so the pond was pretty low, I hope they get rain soon. The house was perfect for our group, especially the hot tub.

Great Location

We were in the area for a wedding. This was a great location for us near the venue. It gave family members a place to rest between events. The beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The children enjoyed the outdoor area, especially feeding the fish! We only used the house and did not utilize the bunkhouse.

The separate cabin was a bit musty. And the house keeper does not do a great job. We found food wrappers under beds. The people that owned the house we great about all of it and apologized. I stay here again.

Great Property for price

House is "lived in" but clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor area, husband caught several fish in pond. Good proximity to town.

perfect for our needs

perfect location and ease to get to fairgrounds for the horseshow daily and still enjoy a home like feel in the evenings after work. close proximity to everything we needed.

Girls Trip

The house was what we were looking for. Quiet, but close to the stores. Roomy enough for us 5 ladies. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoors. The hot tub was great, and enjoyed the fire pit. We even grilled our last night. Would stay there again.

Very nice house and grounds. Location is out of town area but was perfect for the event we were attending at the fairgrounds, which is very close. Only issues we had were with the stove and the hot water. We could only get one eye to work on the stovetop (gas) and the hot water was an on demand system. The heat would constantly surge on and off when using the shower, forcing a dance to avoid water that was ice cold when it surged off. Heater sounded like a leaf blower when running. If the heater was corrected, we would definitely stay again.

Relaxing weekend

This house is away from all the city lights but close enough to everything. The house is furnished with everything you need no need to worry. The pond is great kids had a blast fishing!

A Good Time

This trip was for my family and my sisters family to get away from everyday struggles. We had 13 people and we had plenty of room. We loved the outdoor patio and the pond. We were out far enough to enjoy the country life but close enough to to go to the beaches or restaurants and even shopping malls. Everything was very clean and very easy to rent and the owners was great! We will for sure stay again!

Relaxing Retreat

This home was truly a home! We loved the pond with the ducks and the smell of the gardenia bushes! The patio was cool and relaxing and a great spot to just enjoy the day. The property is close enough to go grab what you need from the store or run to the beach but far enough away for some serenity! The only “negative “ would be that the oven either didn’t work or we couldn’t figure it out but the grill worked well for us instead. Enjoyed our stay tremendously!!

Perfect for a country getaway!!

The house worked out perfect for what we need it for!!! It was so comfortable literally I didn’t feel like I left home. Everything we need was all right there at are fingertips, the kitchen the bathroom plus bedrooms where super nice and outside hot tub fire pit and Grilling Area was nice to have that option as well all in all I will totally be coming back!!
