This home is in the most coveted neighborhood in Carmel Valley Village. It is steps to the Carmel River, Dampierre Little League Park and Garland Park the crown jewel in the Monterey County Park System. It is a .7-mile walk (that's 7/10ths) to the village with 17 wine tasting rooms, coffee shops, art galleries, a small grocery store and many amazing restaurants. The home is on a dead street. It offers privacy, quiet and a beautiful view of the Santa Lucia mountains. A very large front deck is available for hanging out in the shade of our 70' tall Sycamore trees. The primary bedroom has a super comfy king-sized bed with a gel foam topper. It is heavenly. Black out blinds allow for sleeping in. The second bedroom has a brand new super comfy, firm, queen-sized bed with a gel foam topper. A completely remodeled bathroom has a tub and shower with a separate W/C room and an enormous LG washer and dryer. The kitchen is a true galley kitchen, very small. It has all you need to prepare meals and snacks for your visit, with just added quartzite countertops and an undermount sink.
The property was what we needed and is as advertised. My family especially liked the front yard for soccer, bubbles, and relaxing.
It was close to bakery and coffee shop.
The owner is very responsive. It made the stay vet easy.
The area was very quiet and the beds were amazing. The area is a long way from everything, i should have asked how far out. That was my fault. Lovely neighborhood though.
This is a wonderful home if you want a quiet and clean stay. The beds are really comfortable too and rooms have shades that block the light, so you can sleep in if needed. The instructions book was clear and helpful. It was a great stay for me and my friend! Aloha.
My husband and I are married 21 years and love our home. We know you will love it too. It is perfect for dogs as the park across the street is dog friendly. BUT... The park has poison oak in some areas and dogs/owners need to be careful not to go into the under-brush and bring the poison oak oils into the home. I can give you detailed info on where to avoid and where it is safe. I am allergic and never get it, because I know the bad areas. There is no poison oak in our yard or the common areas in the park.
This neighborhood is very friendly and nice. We have carolers at Christmas and Halloween is packed with kids. The dead-end street is quiet and not busy at all. We are all friendly and so we do require that any dog on property is not left alone to bark and disturb the neighbors.
The best part is the quiet and connection to nature. The hiking trails are steps away and there is an amazing dog park in town to enjoy. The river is also right there, only steps away, and a great little beach to hang out on while you splash around in the river.
