Inside, the property is filled with character. The central log staircase greets you at the front door. Beyond this relax in the large living room with a vaulted ceiling overlooking the river. Rest on one of the large sofas and enjoy the river view. The open plan leads to a large dining room and onto the kitchen area. There is a large dining room table and also a raised seated area in the kitchen with bar stools. French doors from the dining room lead out onto a patio deck. The kitchen is filled with the necessities needed to cook up a meal. There is also a coffee machine to quench your caffeine cravings over a morning catch-up at the spacious dining table while enjoying the river view.
There is also a washing machine and dryer facilities. Also, downstairs is a half bathroom with a unique Thomas Crapper sink and overhead toilet. Beyond this is a large master bedroom with built-in closets a roomy shower an en-suite roomy shower and bath.
The beautiful carpeted staircase with carpet rods leads you up to marvelous bedrooms that lead you across the property in separate sections.

Sit over the Shell Rock River on a large outdoor deck. Anchor your boat up to the dock during your stay.
Close by is a nine-hole golf course and a slipway to put your boat in. Go fishing on the Shellrock River only a few steps away from the house or tour the Waterloo John Deere Factory (one hour away), you can also shop the Mall of America (two and a half hours away), or visit the setting of where world-famous hymn “Little Brown Church in the Dale” was penned (half-hour), Hunt for fossils at the Rockford Prairie Park (15 minutes’ drive).
