Lakefront cottage 9th green of Reynolds Lake Oconee Great Waters golf course

This beautiful home sits on Lake Oconee and has 4 bedrooms plus a loft and 3.5 baths. You will be staying in a newly updated cottage on the 9th hole of the Great Waters golf course** and just steps away from amenities such as a clubhouse**, pool, boat docks, playground, and fabulous lake view.

The home boasts one of the premier locations within Waterside Village and Great Waters, which is part of the Reynolds Lake Oconee development and is a private community that includes 6 1/2 golf courses** designed by Fazio, Engh, Nicklaus, Weiskopf, Reese Jones and Robert Cupp**.

Great Waters hosts a 24-hour security guard at the gate house and all guests are registered by the property owner.

The resort is located about 75 miles East of Atlanta, 35 miles South of Athens, and 75 miles West of Augusta where the Masters Golf Tournament is held every April.

This home is immaculate, impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and beautifully furnished. Our cottage sits on lakefront property overlooking the 9th green. The home has a large back porch with ample seating for relaxing and lounging after a day on the Lake or on the golf course**!

Recent updates include ceiling fans in every room, new carpet, fresh paint throughout as well as a new washer and dryer.

The main living room is a spacious area with comfortable seating, a gas log fireplace and a large flat screened TV. The living room opens to the kitchen and dining area. You will find a fully equipped kitchen with spotless appliances, a Keurig coffee maker and new kitchenware for all your food preparation and dining needs. The living room spills out to the back porch through double French doors. Plenty of room to entertain family and friends.

The Primary suite is located on the first floor just off the living room and also has a large flat screen TV. This bedroom has an en suit bath with double sinks, walk in shower, and a walk in closet as well as built in cabinets for guest use. This bedroom offers its very own French doors for a private exit leading out to the back porch for guests.

The showcase expansive open porch and view of the lake is a "see to believe" vista and beckons visitors to view the beautiful sunrise in the mornings and all day entertainment watching golfers on the challenging front nine finishing hole. A new gas grill on the porch is clean and easy to use for you and your guests.

On the second level you will find three guest rooms with new king beds and bedding with two updated full bathrooms with showers. The second level also hosts a comfortable loft area with a sofa and a separate flat screen TV.

A cafe is steps away at the Clubhouse and a short walk leads guests to a beautiful pool and beach as well as tennis courts and Marina. The cottage boasts 2000 square feet not including the spacious porch. The home is non-smoking, Pets are allowed with a paid deposit and pet fee.

**The onset of the Covid-19 pandemic prompted a dramatic increase in demand in golf course utilization. This led to the management at Lake Oconee to void all unaccompanied golf play. Play for non-members is only allowed if they are accompanied by a member in their respective foursome.

The members had no input into this decision and unfortunately has led to our inability to sponsor unaccompanied guests for golf at this time.

Guests at our home have occasionally been allowed access to golf privileges by having their respective club pro contact the individual pro-shop and the head golf professional at each Reynolds Lake Oconee Golf Course.

We apologize for this significant inconvenience and plan to update this welcome booklet for our cottage if the club policy changes.
