Welcome to The Benjamin! This 100 year old home has been completely remodeled for your comfort. The back deck is furnished with comfortable seating and a fire box for for making memories.
Right in the heart of West Baden Springs and from French Lick... restaurants, shopping, golfing, fishing, Splash Mountain, Putt Putt, and Wineries are just a minute away. For you adventure lovers, canoeing, a drive through zoo, caving, skiing in the winter, zip lining and indoor go carts are all within reach!

Weekend Trip

We went to French Lick for a long weekend. We went to nearby areas (water park, caves, playgrounds). The house was in a good location for those activities. The house has been updated but there are tiles on the floor that are loose in the kitchen and microwave was loose and needed to be screwed into the wall some more. The house next door is under construction so there was some noise related to that during the weekend. There was a nice welcome package from the owners and they did a great job of communicating! Thanks for opening your home to us.

Cozy and Clean

This was our second time to stay at the Benjamin. We love how clean and spacious it is for our family. We have been to French Lick two times now for cheer competitions and this house couldn’t be more perfect for us! The owners are very friendly and helpful and extremely easy to communicate with!

Pleasant Stay

We went to the area for a dance convention. This house met our needs a little more. The hosts had some baby items which came in handy and some kids toys! It was a convenient location as well!

Charming house conveniently located

Three of us ladies in our 60’s stayed at this cute home for a girls weekend and had a great time! Very clean, comfy beds, good hot showers. Loved sitting in the living room chatting, playing cards. It is a renovated 100 year old home, so floors are a bit unlevel, front steps could use a handrail for us older folks :) Weather was damp & chilly so we did not use the outdoor space but it looked very inviting! As advertised, you can see the gorgeous West Baden Springs hotel from the front window. Younger or more agile people could walk to it but it is a very steep incline! Didn’t bother us as both hotels were so close and we drove and had no problem parking. Thanks for a great weekend away!

Sister-in-laws Weekend

The Benjamin was the perfect spot for our girls weekend! It was very clean and comfortable! It was close to all the things we wanted to explore and within in walking distant of the West Baden Hotel. The hosts were very informative and communicated all things clearly. We enjoyed a wonderful weekend here and would return again! Thank you so much!

Perfect location and cute

The Benjamin provided the perfect location for our girls’ getaway weekend. The neighborhood was quiet and there was plenty of street parking. The house was just as described and provided ample space for 5. Loved that it was a quick drive to West Baden Resort for coffee and to French Lick to eat.

Family Weekend

We usually stay at West Baden, but decided to rent a home this time instead. Everything is well appointed and the owners were very thoughtful. My daughter and her family enjoyed our stay as well as myself. I would say it is an older house that has been fully renovated, back deck was very nice for a cool evening around the fire pit. Kitchen was well appointed and many spices there for your use. I would say just two things, because it is older it does smell musty at the initial entry but when your in there I couldn’t smell it and also I would maybe put Kleenex in the bathrooms for quick make up fix etc. there were specific wash cloths for make up so that was nice but just quick fixes Kleenex would have been perfect. Would we stay here again? Absolutely we would, very kind owners, very close to everything, very quiet home away from home!

Adorable and Quiet

Very cute house on a quiet street. The house is extremely well stocked. There is a small basket of toys, a pack in play, and a small high chair. My kids didn't even touch the toys that I brought for them! The kitchen has anything you may need, laundry detergent, extra bedding, etc. My son is already asking "When we go back to Indiana can we stay in the same house?!" Hope to be back next summer!

What a view

Location was perfect if a little inclined. The house was lovely and well stocked. I Could sit in a chair in the living room and see the dome ! We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Used the kitchen and the back deck with Firebox. Wine and smores.... Only suggestion is Fix your front steps.

Best Alternative to French Lick's Resort Hotels

I stayed in town for a conference and needed a place near the hotel since they sold out before I could reserve my space. Found this lovely home within walking distance to the West Baden Hotel. My stay was great. And the host even had shampoo and conditioner, thankfully, because I had been accustomed to staying in a hotel and didn't bring any. If I were coming in as a group to the conference, I would absolutely look at booking this house instead for my group -- More economical and provides greater opportunity to socialize. Highly Recommend.

It was by accident that we found The Benjamin...we were not looking, but once we spent time in the area, we completely feel in love with the home and the area. We hope you enjoy our Sweet Benjamin, as well as the local attractions!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Once we found this very sweet home, we knew it would be perfect not only for us, but our family, friends and others. The home is actually named after our Benjamin...the area fits him perfectly. He is a spirited 23 year old young man, who loves to golf, snowboard, all water sports and of course a visit to the casino. I hope you enjoy The Benjamin as much as, we love our Benjamin and The Benjamin :)
