The Dale and Marguerite cabin is a 1 story layout named after my grandparents. Dale grew up on this farm (in the yellow farmhouse). The cabin overlooks a creek, and our guests are able to sit on the porch, or in the hot tub, and see a variety of wildlife and foliage. Guests can also walk the property. A clear night is breathtaking due to the rural area making stars vivid. There is one bedroom with a king size bed, and a full kitchen with pans and utensils. There are 2 TV's ( living room and bedroom) , DVD, and DISH Network. Bed linens and towels are provided. There is a 2 zone heating/A/C system providing separate thermostats in the living room and bedroom.

Wonderful pet friendly private retreat

Clean comfortable and inviting. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and field for our dog to run around in. The location is ideal for trips to Athens and Lake Hope

Cute Cabin Weekend Retreat

This was perfect for my husband and I for a long weekend trip. I ran a 1/2 marathon in Athens, and it was an easy trip into town. We loved the family touches and the hot tub!

Getaway Weekend

Everything was wonderful, as promised. Very comfortable place with great amenities; hot tub and wifi worked perfectly. The area around the cabin was beautiful and great for walking the dog in the evening. We'll check here first the next time we're looking to get away!

Very clean and private

The owner was very responsive, and even helped me find the cabin at 9:00 PM !! It is secluded and my GPS was going a little wonky, so a simple call to the owner and he was gracious enough to guide me to the cabin!! Many thanks!!

They thought of everything

Provided plenty of towels for hot tub use and shower. Hair dryer was nice to have. Bed was very comfortable and a beautiful property. We absolutely loved this place. It was so cozy and peaceful. Looking forward to coming back this winter.

Anniversary Trip

We truly enjoyed our stay in southern Ohio. The scenery is beautiful. The roads are treacherous at times winding thru the mountains but we managed. We loved our cabin. It had everything we needed. We would definitely rent again in the future. Our hosts were very helpful.

Couples get away

The cabin is just the right size for 2. It is secluded so you have time to connect with each other. The hot tub was a nice relaxing end to the day. The host were very easy to get hold of and answered quickly

Great stay

My partner and I rented this cabin for our 1 year anniversary. We loved the cabin. It was just like the pictures and super cozy. The ammenities were great and we loved all the space outside we could let our dogs roam around in. The owners were great as well and super nice! We would definitely stay again!

Birthday getaway

It was a great place to escape the everyday life and relax, the only down side was a smell when we walked in like it had some water damage but with a few candles it was fine. If needed anything the manager was on it and was very polite. Great place with lots to do within 30 mins.

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I wanted a long, relaxing weekend for our 6th anniversary and this was the perfect place! Beautifully maintained trails through the woods. Amazing views for the sunrise and sunset. The hosts were more than accommodating. We will definitely be returning!!!

Our stay was amazing. Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to spend my 40th birthday. Easy to find and check in. Close enough to town to get what you need but far enough away to shut out the world!

Isolated & Peaceful
