North Raleigh Townhome near north hills, greenway trails and Shelley Lake
Quiet and secluded three bedrooms 2.5 bath townhome in North Raleigh. This is a great spot for travelers who enjoy nature walks, living among the trees, and peaceful quiet. But still being just minutes to restaurants, grocery stores, and shops.
We had everything we needed for our stay. Kelley (owner) went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. We would stay there again if in the Raleigh area
This townhome is nestled into a beautiful wood area. It is very easy to get to where u want to go as well. It checks all the boxes. The host is very informative and responsive. We had a wonderful stay!
Overall it was a great experience. Neighborhood and House were lovely. Ran into a couple of concerns but Kelly ensured she responded and addressed them quickly. Thanks again Kelly for everything!!!!
Very convenient location for us while visiting family and attending a funeral.House presented as pictured and described online.King bed and pillows were very comfortable. One down side was the low spot on the sidewalk leading up to front door. Since we experienced some very heavy downpours during our stay, it became a huge muddy area which was very hard to avoid. Also centipede weâre getting into the kitchen/dining room from somewhere throughout our stay.
We stayed with our two kids and three dogs. Great location! It is very close to the trails around the lake which the dogs loved. Very quiet neighborhood, beds were comfortable, lots of space, and the a/c worked fine.
My family and I have been out of the house as there was work being done on our current home. The property was clean, organized and well maintained. I would absolutely recommend this place as well as go back!
This townhome was a great location to everything in Raleigh and surrounding towns and being able to walk right to the trail around Shelleyâs lake was a bonus. Roomy, clean and quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Great communication with the owner only thing was the grill was too rusted inside to use and could use updated pots, pans and utensils. Thank you for letting us stay the month while we moved from Colorado to find our forever home in Fuquay Varina. Will definitely recommend to family and friends coming to visit us.
Three childhood friends met up in Raleigh for a reunion after 15 years! The space was great, we especially enjoyed sitting out on the deck and walking around the lake as we had wonderful weather! Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well furnished with all supplies we needed to cook dinner with. Unfortunately, we were met with a very strong odor coming from the refrigerator that required us to do some cleaning. Ultimately the odor dissipated to a manageable level. I did notify the host and she refunded us part of our rental fee for the inconvenience.
Overall this was a great place to stay! We loved the location as it felt like we were among the trees. Check in was easy and slick! We were a bit surprised by the tasks as at checkout as that wasn't disclosed anywhere. With the high-ish cleaning fees, we didnt expect that many, though they were easy enough.
The washer and dryer were a struggle. The washer was off balance so it didnt finish the spin cycle so the clothes were soaked. After 3 runs of 59 minutes on the dryer, we thought they would be dry, but we ended up checking out with soaking wet clothing in a bag.
The upstairs bedroom got HOT. We realized the reason was the schedule on the thermostat which was set to 82! Once we turned it down and hit hold for the night, it got a lot cooler and that was nice. The fan in the room also helped a lot.
The host was super easy to connect with and very kind! We would recommend, but would now have a better idea of what to expect.
This is a lovely property in a great area. My friend and I had a blast. The property owner was very responsive and helpful. I will definitely stay again!
It is a nice comfortable place to stay, quiet with very nice neighbors. The things that could use improvement are keeping your repairs up (the microwave door handle was on by a thread) several lights not functioning as well as bathroom outlets. Couldnât get the air conditioner cool enough ( especially up stairs ) couldnât get living room tv on which is the only one we tried. Would be nice to have a backup roll of paper products. Could use a welcome/ info notebook. The Harry Potter closet under the stairs is adorable! Enjoyed sitting on back porch and read a book, it seemed secluded and woodsy out theređ. Oh they also had a nature trail! With all this said I would still come back.
We purchased this cute property when we moved to Raleigh and lived here for 8 years. the community is wonderful, quiet and peaceful. We grew out of it as our family grew (two boys and now three dogs).
It was centrally located and the community has a feeling of being away from it all. It's location next to Shelley Lake and being surrounded by park land really gives it a natural feel.
