Escape to a beachy paradise in this stylish 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom condo located near the water in Northern Michigan. Our unit is on the first floor and does not immediately face the water. Relax in the cozy, comfortable atmosphere and enjoy the clean surroundings. With easy access to the water and plenty of parking, this first-floor unit is perfect for a hassle-free getaway. Check in with ease and spend your days lounging on the sandy beach or exploring the beautiful surroundings. This is the ultimate vacation destination for a beach lover looking for a comfortable, convenient retreat.

The Pool and Sauna will open for summer after Memorial Day in May. Peninsula Bay Resort offers an outdoor pool, hot tub and grill area, along with beach chairs to relax on the beach.

Enjoy 3 50-inch SMART ROKU TVs with all the streaming apps and local cable TV via the Spectrum app. 1 TV in each bedroom and the living room.

Nearby restaurants, grocery stores, bicycle rentals, coffee shops and the local tart trail.

Winter retreat

This place was exactly what my family and I needed for our winter trip. It was clean, spacious and quiet. The kitchen had all the amenities included so we had less to bring with us! And when traveling with a toddler, this was a huge win! Only a 5 minute drive to downtown which was nice, but we loved staying in and enjoyed the fireplace and watching the snow come down. The check-in process was easy and communication with the host was quick. He worked with me on our changing schedule and answered my many questions within an hour! We will definitely book again!

Perfect for our Family

We loved this condo. We came to town for a funeral, not a fun vacation, but it was so clean and comfortable and perfect for our needs. Having two beds in the second bedroom is hard to find sometimes and now that our kids are preteens they loved not having to share a bed. The host was responsive and we had no issues at all. We would love to come back on a happier occasion.

Great Family Condo

Property was exactly as advertised! It was clean, well equipped, the host was very responsive, and everything worked! Each of the two bedrooms had their own master bathroom which is wonderful with 3 kids. The bedrooms were on almost opposite sides of the condo, which offered seclusion and privacy from our 3 kids (which was amazing!)- we couldn’t hear our kids blasting their movie from the other room! Even though it doesn’t have a waterfront view, the 10 steps you have to take to get to the clean beach was not an issue at all! My family had a great time and we would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful fall color trip!

Property was good. What was lacking from other VRBO stays we have had was an instruction sheet on how everything worked. Fireplace did not work and it seemed that the owner knew but waited until I questioned how to turn it on before he said that he would have a handyman check it out after we left. He also said it was not intuitive, so if it had worked we would have needed instructions. Took a while to figure out the clothes washer as we didn't know you had to pull out the "button" in order to start. Never did figure out how to turn on the over stove exhaust fan. In both bathrooms there was a note on the fan switch to make sure to turn it off. Never could hear a fan when turned on. Most of the things I figured out, but would have been nice not to have to do that. Final check-in instructions were sent six hours before our check-in and we did not see the message until we were already in the place. Should send instructions at least the day before. Still, nice place.

Beautiful condo!

This was our second time staying at this property. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The condo was very clean and we loved the close proximity to the beach. Michael was great to work with and was very responsive to my questions. We look forward to coming back again.

Amazing property

We were very happy with the condo! It is beautiful, was very clean and in a perfect location right on the beach! The pool and hot tub are very nice! Great location! We would definitely stay there again!

Amazing Family Trip

The condo offers every comfort possible. Beautifully decorated and well stocked kitchen supplies. (As a coffee lover, the option of a K-Cup and drip machine were an added bonus) Quality of the beds and linens-were greatly appreciated! We were able to see the water each morning by stepping out a few feet and turning a corner. We hope to return next year!

Great Stay!

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and we had a great time! The location of the building is convenient to all of the area attractions. Staying on the ground floor with only steps to the beach was perfect for our family. The condo is well stocked with everything you need to make your stay perfect. The furnishings are very comfortable and relaxing. We can't wait to come back!

Amazing location & comfortable property

Our stay was amazing. The check in process is super easy and convenient. The condo is located on the side of the building so it’s super easy to unpack with out having to use the property elevators or limited carts in the lobby. Close to the pool (out the front door) and close to the bay (out the back door). The only thing that could be improved is a little extra detail to the floors- cleaning along baseboards and in the corners- especially in the bathrooms. But over all everything else was clean and well maintained. Would love to stay again!

Great Time on the East Bay!

We really enjoyed our stay in this unit. This was our fifth time vacationing at Peninsula Bay Resort, but the first time staying in this first floor unit, and we loved it. We enjoyed the easy access to both the beach and the pool, and the owner was very responsive and provided good information ahead of our stay. We look forward to hopefully staying in this unit again in the future.

Love this place

This is our 2nd stay here in 2 years and we were just as happy with this stay as we were the first time. Absolutely love the location! Easy access to pool and beach. Not to mention how easy it is to jump in car and go where we want, loading and unloading. The place itself has everything we need. Always so clean and nice inside. Overall, wonderful place and we've already booked for a third year. Pretty much says it all.

The best of the best!!

This was the best VRBO rental I have ever used. The condo is gorgeous and the little amenities made our visit incredible ( an app you can load with valuable information, a noise machine in the master bedroom, fantastic stocked kitchen). The beach and pool were beautiful and the location ideal. Even though the building was completely full, it was very quiet and peaceful. Owner was easy to reach, very kind and generous. I am planning to book again!

We fell in love with the location, space, and amenities. This is a fairly new and unique property. Enjoy a central location in the Traverse City region with nearby downtown TC only 10 minutes away. Enjoy a common area outdoor heated pool and hottub. There are two walkable water sport rental spots right off the sandy beach. We love the walkout on the ground level allowing quick and easy access to the sandy beach. Perfect for families!
