This Lakehouse is literally over the water. It has an unforgettable panoramic view overlooking the lake! The kitchen is built into the living room so you can prepare food and enjoy the view at the same time. The custom kitchen is adorned with 150+-year-old reclaimed cypress wood. All kitchen appliances are NEW and stainless steel. Including a high-end gas Z-Line stove and oven. There is a custom bar top that wraps around the kitchen as well. Great for serving food and enjoying a beverage. The entertainment center includes a 75 inch LG smart TV. It can easily be enjoyed from anywhere in the living room including the kitchen. 5 XLarge cypress beams going across the ceiling give it a feeling of south LA rustic charm. All of the bedrooms are custom built with individual accents in each. This place is ultra comfortable and has a very relaxing atmosphere. Family getaway for national bowling tournament

Great birthday getaway

We loved staying at the Lake House! It was BR perfect spot to celebrate my son’s birthday and a quick drive from Baton Rouge. Emmett was a great host and the laid back check-in and our instructions set the vibe for a relaxing vacation. We will definitely be back!

This place was awesome... clean and comfortable. All amenities we could ask for. Plenty of room. Weather was bad so we didnt get to use the outdoor space much but WILL be back in spring or summer. Thanks !

Peaceful Getaway

Gorgeous view - gorgeous home. What a great time we had here over the weekend. And the lake water is cold as my teens can attest! We played cards in front of these beautiful windows. The beds were comfortable. I am rambling but it was wonderful.

Daughters 25th Birthday

We celebrated our daughters 25th birthday at Twin Cypress on False River. Emmett was a great host and readily available when needed. Beautiful house, great location, great views and great eats nearby. We ended our trip with a boat ride on the lake, loved by all. We will book again for sure. Thanks again Emmett.

Love this Lake House

Emmett was such a sweet owner to work with, gave us a recommendation of where to eat near by, Juerrus Restaurant, it was excellent food...Super nice staff! There is nothing like walking out of your bedroom in the morning to the wall of windows view of the lake, WOW! Very comfortable beds, seating, darling kitchen. Don't hesitate just book it. Thanks again Emmett, from all 4 couples in our group!

Emmett was more than accommodating. We hosted an employee training session at the house and Emmett organized and delivered our lunch for us that day. Above & beyond!

Mimi’s 80th

Everything was good except a few small things- no additional toilet paper in master bathroom and only a small amount to begin with. Also no coffee maker first day and no coffee and measuring cups to bake with. Numerous nails poking up on floors- very dangerous especially for my 2 grand babies who just started walking. A lil disappointed about third bathroom being outside too. Overall good stay though! Plenty room but kitchen needs a few more items to make it complete!

Relaxing getaway soot

Perfect house for family and friends to gather. Outside area downstairs is where we stayed almost the whole time. Everything is perfect with this house. Can’t wait to return!

Relaxing

We had a very quiet and relaxing weekend at Twin Cypress Lakehouse. Owner Mr. Emmett was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The Lakehouse is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to others.

Family weekend getaway

This is an awesome place on False River! The views are breathtaking. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The owner even has a pontoon boat available for rent! We will definitely be back.

Superb Vacation Spot

Loved the home - it had plenty of room and was gorgeous. The glass front windows provided a fantastic view of the beautiful lake. We spent a ton of time on the sun deck, jumping into the deep water. No fear of touching a muddy bottom! We had a great place to store our pontoon boat as well. The covered patio area under the home provides some nice shade. We even caught several catfish off the dock. We LOVED it. Thanks, Emmet.

Great time

We had a wonderful time at this property. The location is great. If you have kids that like to tube or kneeboard, this is the place to go. They also enjoy jumping off the deck into the water and just float around. Couldn't have asked for a better time. Hope to return in the future
