Our stay was amazing! We booked at the last minute and the host was amazing to work with and so accommodating! The house was so clean and stocked with numerous essentials! The beds were comfortable and plenty of space was available! The pool was perfect and there was plenty of seating around the pool! The view of the lake was stunning. The game room was so fun for all ages. We all loved our stay and definitely got much needed relaxation. Our family would definitely recommend the house and would come back next week if we could!

Property needed a good deep cleaning. Awful bug infestation in one bathroom and other areas. Property is at least 30 minutes from restaurants, groceries and most desired activities.

Can't say enough! Ok WOW!

The house and location was great! We went as a family of 12 and there was so much room for all of us. Having a pool and the lake were a big plus for the kids to have somewhere to swim. The outside kitchen area was so nice for outside grilling. The special touches of things inside and outside the house that went with the theme of mermaids were amazing! We were there a week and everyday I would notice another cute mermaid item in and outside the house. 2 washers and dryers kept us up on our washing so we could enjoy doing other fun things instead of work. The owners are great to work with and so nice. If you are going to Arkansas, rent this home! The views are lovely and if you are lucky your kids will spot a deer or catch a big mouth bass at the lake. The fire pit is one of the prettiest I have ever seen. The seating area for it, is super nice. They have alarms on the doors so you don't have to worry about a child getting out of the house. That was a major plus for us since we had small children in our group. The area is very quiet and relaxing. Not far from Hot Springs and Royal had many things to do also! If you are looking for a great vacation home, this is the house to rent!!!!!

Mermaid Manor Family Reunion

Our family of 12, ages 4 -67, had a blast at this location. Being right on the water, with their own dock, allowed us to rent a pontoon for one day and everyone had a great time. We also took advantage of the on site pool, which has an electronic cover that helped with the amount of debris the storms through around. There was also kayaking nearby, and hiking through Lake Catherine and the Hot Springs National Park. We enjoyed some time in the Hot Springs, as well as the town. The property manager left us snacks, and some drinks that everyone enjoyed upon arrival. There are plenty of kitchen supplies (spices, dishes, pans, etc) that made cookouts easy and the grill was fantastic. The owner is very responsive via VRBO and was easy to work with. The beds were very comfortable and the AC worked well - hvac in some areas, split systems in others. Just a few issues/recommendations: a few mini shampoos, conditioners and body wash are not enough for a family of 12. We had to buy more for each bathroom. The internet was spotty at best, even after they sent someone to work on it. Luckily we were so busy with activities this was a minor inconvenience when some wanted tv. The house is beginning to show wear and tear, mold in showers and on shower curtains, and the garbage disposal had a major blowout we had to clean up after. The area is beautiful, and they even sent maintenance to clean after storms (great service) and not to mention how valuable it was to have 2 washers & dryers

Memorial Day Weekend

We enjoyed the house very much! Loved the theme, aka mermaid. The view of the lake was gorgeous and the private pool was used non stop! Very nice to have the added bonus of pool towels. We enjoyed our stay very much!! ONE thing though - the check out time was at 9 am. That is crazy early when on vacation. I think a 10 am or 10:30 is more appropriate - especially when you have a large group (which the house accommodates) or small children - makes it difficult to rush to get out on time. Owners were very responsive if we had questions - this was much appreciated.

Perfect spot to enjoy

It was a fun experience and we all enjoyed our stay. The grandkids loved the bunk rooms. The layout of the house allowed each of the 3 adult couples to have our own space and own bathrooms. The pool and game room were a huge bonus and enjoyed by all of us. Road to home was a bit tricky and we avoid driving it after dark. Great Hosts!

Outstanding Property

The owners provided everything that we needed. Towels, pool toys and life jackets. Outdoor and indoor games. Snacks. The view is beautiful. The house was laid out well for our adult childrern and grandchildren. The large dining table was perfect. The gameroom was a lifesaver. The children could play in the early morning while some of the adults slept. WE thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house.

Take the trip!

This was our second stay at mermaid manor, and it was just as great as the first time! -Some of my favorite things about the property- *fully stocked kitchen * swim towels for everyone * outdoor kitchen ..and now shower too! *quiet neighborhood * the pool of course ;) * very comfy beds *two washers and two dyers! Worth every penny ❀

STAY HERE

The pictures online just don't prepare you for how beautiful this place is ! We had the most relaxing week at Mermaid Manor. A few things we loved - 2 washers and 2 dryers :) , fully stocked kitchen, and EVERTHING about the outdoor area. The hosts were super easy to work with and very helpful. It is evident that a lot of time, thought, and energy has gone into making this place a magical experience for guests. Take your family here! You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful setting on river and pool. Owners provided treats for my two grandaughters and tons of amenities for the adults. Very well furnished and decorated. You wont regret booking this property if you are in the Hot Springs area!!
