The host is extremely responsive! She addressed any issue we brought to her attention. For an apartment rental it was much quieter than anticipated which was a plus. The apartment itself was very quaint and modernized, very beautifully decorated! I would not recommend it for more than two individuals as it is a smaller apartment. The physical location is close to the beach but for walking access it's quite a ways especially if you're hauling beach gear and packing children as it is not located directly on the beach access road. There is no view of the lake from this apartment as I originally assumed from the aerial Google Map. In what appeared to be an up and coming area! The location was convenient yet secluded. Nice Getaway!

Great pictures horrible location

As you drive up most of the houses are either run down or vacant and falling apart. It is backed up to an abandoned property and not well kept up. The grass had not been mowed, there was trash in the yard, and the exterior of the building was recently painted but other wise in poor condition. I walked up to the door and was greeted by the owner thru the ring doorbell only after having to ask about what apartment it was. There were no check in procedures listed. I opened the door and immediately smelled smoke. The vents had nicotine stains and the overall condition of the interior was poor. I texted the owner and was told that there were more air fresheners and that the smoke was from an adjacent apartment. My wife has allergies and could not stay there. The owner said I would receive a full refund since we had only walked in and then out of the property . Unfortunately, I only received a partial refund. It’s hard to believe that Vrbo allows this property to be on here. It’s a horrible misrepresentation of what it actually is. If I could post pictures I would have.

Unfortunately you had your mind made up before entering the Miller beach house that you did not want to stay. We provided professional service to ensure your check in was smooth but you decided otherwise for reasons we have no control over.

Best Place

I just loved the place! The unit was very clean and up to date just as advertised! I just felt horrible for my wonderful host as her hands were tied by the owner of the property! The landscaping was just aweful!!! The place has such potential and I think it is a shame!! So close to such a beautiful beach…I just hopped in my car and was ther in 3 minutes! Such potential in that place! Hell, give me one week free ther and it’d be such a different place! I do think it will be my new secret serenity place!

Lake week

Don’t let your first impressions slow this stay. This little apt was clean inside, had a very comfy bed and the shower was awesome. The owner did a great job remodeling and the tv and kitchen were awesome! We went to the dunes during our stay and it was a beautiful day! Definitely worth the money.
