Welcome to SeaGroovInn! When you're not at the beach, you're still on the water! The lakefront sanctuary, south of 30A, rests on the edge of a rare coastal dune lake. Embraced by the live oaks along Eastern Lake, the lush expansive property is in the shade of over 50 trees!

Inside, the slice of paradise is equally enchanting. The coastal-inspired décor, spacious living areas, and fully equipped kitchen is fabulous, no doubt, but don’t be surprised to be lured back outside to the 2000+ square feet of waterfront decking.

The house is handicap accessible (the main floor is on the ground floor), making it easy to get to the water. A ramp connects the backyard deck to the floating dock, for fishing and kayak access. The views from here are just a reminder of Mother Nature’s artistry.

Have a seat at the water’s edge. Dangle your toes in the water. And start thinking about your paddleboard excursions to the beach. This is where you’ll start to unwind. And slow down a bit. The outdoor oasis entices all to simply relax, as Old Seagrove demands.

Perfect Location Perfectly Managed

First a little about the house,SeaGroovInn is a great location on the Eastern lake which is a short paddle board or kayak trip to the beach. It is also a short walk or bicycle ride down the road to the board walk. Location is perfect for either one we did both the entire stay. Can not say enough about the outdoor deck simply amazing and the sitting has plenty of room. The house is located at the end of a road which is perfect for a pet. We had a chef prepare a meal and they served it outside which was fabulous. We had 8 people staying with us and had plenty of room, you will want to spend most of your time outside. The dock was fun, we spent time catching fish and just sitting. All the beds and furniture was comfortable, even looked up the brand name of the sectional to see if we could purchase one. Now for the property managers, all the communication with them is quick and they were always helpful. The only problem we had was the air conditioner went out( which is common in Florida with that much humidity). The property managers had techs come out and try to get it up and running but did not have any luck. They brought a portable unit as soon as they knew it would not be operational. Then the next day they went to Lowe’s and bought and brought in two more. I can not say enough about Oversee, they worked relentlessly on taking care of us. In todays world it really is nice to see that someone and some people take service to that degree.

Perfect getaway!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had such a great time relaxing on the beautiful porch under the oaks. We utilized the kayaks provided as well as brought a few of our own, but there were plenty. Our favorite part was paddling to the beach and hanging out. The Gulf was crystal clear that weekend. Beds were comfy and the whole house had everything we needed. Wish there was a fire pit as we came when the air at night was a bit chilly. Thanks and we will be back!

Disappointed that the price paid did not meet expectations

Using the kayaks in the lake was a fun experience for the kids but the house is in need of some TLC. It was disappointing that the house was not very clean for the price that was charged. The beach chairs were rusted and broken and unable to use and the grounds around the house were not kept up. I had to clear the deck of plants that had grown through and around the deck so we could walk down to the dock because my kids kept stepping on the thorns that were protruding in and around the deck. The beach was close but it would have been nice to of known that in order to get to the beach you had to walk through waste deep water where the ocean met the lake in order to get to the beach. The house could use a new A/C unit but they did provide a fan to use. The master bedroom floor carpet where it meets the hall stairs has about a half inch gap that caused you to trip into the hallway if you didn’t step just right. The sheets had stains and so did the mattress covers. The downstairs bathroom got clogged on more than one occasion that my husband had to unclog which wasn’t too fun. I will say that the customer service representative was very nice and very helpful when the freezer and microwave stopped working she was very prompt in responding. Customer service was not a problem at all and I have no complaints in that department and would book through their site again but as far as the overall cleanliness of the house and condition we would not book this house again.

September 2021 Stay

We had the BEST long weekend at the SeaGroovInn celebrating my bachelorette party. We caught the end of storm season which actually made for the most beautifully serene experience. The home is loaded with tons of games and streaming services so we had plenty to keep us occupied. Not a single person was “bored”. When the clouds cleared we had a wonderful time going to the beach, using the kayaks/stand up paddle boards, enjoying the calming chimes on the deck, and just having some down time to spend together. We can’t say enough about how wonderful this house was for our group. We cannot wait to come back next year for a reunion trip next year!! Stay Groovy!

Beautiful and relaxing lakeside retreat

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The outdoor space for this rental is incredible. Gorgeous views, beautiful live oaks, expansive decks with lots of seating arrangements, a bed swing, relaxing wind chime and a dock for fishing, SUPing and kayaks. It’s a close walk to the beach - note that this beach access requires you to wade a bit to get to it! The bikes that come with the house are a little rusty. We rented golf carts but honestly I wouldn’t recommend it, bike rentals would be a better investment since golf carts aren’t welcome in a lot of the communities (and the batteries run down quickly). Back to the house, our only complaint was the first floor bedroom was small and not as nice as the upstairs rooms, and there were some temperature control issues where some rooms were hot and others were freezing. Otherwise the kitchen is well stocked, there are plenty of bathrooms, and everything is super comfy. The location is great, we could hear the music from the Old Florida Fish House from our deck!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We hosted my bachelorette party at the SeaGroovInn and could not have picked a better spot to enjoy our weekend. The entire home was just beautiful, the pictures cannot do it enough justice. Plenty of space for everyone! There’s a beautiful deck and dock off the back of the house that looks over the lake. We loved our mornings on the dock with blankets a coffee before getting started. Great proximity to the beach (less than a mile!), restaurants, and shopping. The highlight of our trip was the rainbow porch, where we spent a lot of time laughing and sharing stories. The SeaGroovInn is a magical little oasis and we’ll definitely be back. 10/10!

Great house in a wonderful location.

We really enjoyed staying at SeaGroovInn. The location is awesome. On the lake, shaded during hot days, but very close to the beach when guests want to go there. The kayaks and canoes out back are a great bonus and we used them to get to the beach daily. We also rented a golf car and used that to get around and access the beach as well. The back porch is beautiful and we spent a lot of time there during the middle of the day to take a break from the heat at the beach. We would definitely stay here again on a return trip. Thanks!

A woodsy vacation spot on a lake and by a gulf beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Three generations celebrated a vacation during this pandemic, and there were activities and relaxation for all. At this lake house off a beach bordering the gulf, we were able to kayak, canoe,pandleboard,fish,crab,bike,walk and enjoy the outdoors as well as shop in the villages along 30A and enjoy the various eating spots. We enjoyed a different stay in a quieter area on a lake. The landscaping of this property provided a woodsy feel. There is a huge deck with native trees poking out of the decking providing shade. There were several seating areas, a large round teak table and chairs for at least 8-10 people, another seating area with sofa and chairs overlooking the lake, and a covered porch with a swinging bed to relax in while still able to watch the goings on at the water's edge. My grandchildren loved the canoe, kayaks and paddleboard, being able to paddle to the sandy beach and cross over it to another beach lining the gulf. They could canoe beach chairs,towels, umbrellas and rafts. Other times my son in law used his truck to bring the beach items to the beach. We could walk about a quarter mile to the beach too. Next time hopefully the house has a motorized golf cart to use. The house was clean! Newly renovated. The great room,kitchen, three bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths easily handled a crowd of 12. I would say that the kitchen needs more cooking utensils for cooking. It has a great ice maker.We enjoyed biking to the villages to shop and explore. A great place with added dimensions by having the lake so near the beach and gulf.

Great space for kiddos. Golf Cart is key.

This rental has it all. Toys for the lake and access to inlet beach which is outstanding for my littles (6) (3). Before 2pm the water is clear and he kids played for hours. After the tide turns the water from the lake is pulled out through the inlet and is becomes brown. So early is better for inlet beach. Otherwise you want to set up ocean front if you go out late afternoon. The house is great. Super cute with artsy vibe. It is close to everything by golf cart. You can rent one and have it delivered to the property. The deck was my favorite part. The plants and landscaping with subtle wind chimes made this a great place to recharge and take in the beauty of nature.
