The cabin was very clean and well put together. Jason was very responsive and super nice! We highly recommend this if you're looking for a nice place to stay in NC!
The property was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Everything was clean and high quality. The location was great if you want to be a little removed but still be able to access Asheville and the different hiking options.
Perfect mountain getaway in a very quaint, spacious, modern, immaculate and beautifully designed home. Can't wait to stay here again. Thank you Jay for being a top notch host!
Lovely studio home! Very comfortable and roomy. It has all the modern amenities that we could want, and Jason was extremely helpful. We would definitely come back again.
It was perfect!!! It was late and had gotten dark, we got lost and Jason stayed on the phone to talk us through in finding the house. Jason was great!!! We could not have found a more relaxing and peaceful place to stay!!!
We needed a change of scenery, nice to explore a different part of our country, even if it's the next state over. Ashville was on our list, we were not disappointed.
Trolley tour helped in getting acquainted with Ashville, 4 full days was enough to see many places, we weren't bored.
This property is lovely. The house offers a nice combination of modern decor with delightfully cozy touches and a gorgeous view. The location is perfect - off the beaten path with only a 15 minute drive to all that Asheville has to offer. We appreciated the quick, easy communication with the property owner and the cleanliness of the home.
Loved staying here, it was out in the woods but not a long drive to town! It was my central hub for driving in every direction to go on some beautiful hikes and into Asheville to explore. I loved how big and open the space felt, and it had everything I needed to set up camp and cook for myself and get some quiet time on the back deck listening to the birds and trees in the wind. Jason was very quick to respond to any questions that I had, and he made it very easy to check in and get set up. I would definitely recommend staying here.
We were looking for a private, peaceful, restorative place to stay. We certainly found that in Georgeâs Studio. It is built right into the mountain side! With the 10â high wall of glass doors and the many windows and skylights, this space is infused with natural light. The stone patio is private and soothing. You can hear the the flowing water in the creek below. The lay out and amenities fit our needs very well. We are in Asheville several times a year and always try to book this special place.
This was the first time my wife and I have been to this part of the country and to be here at the time the leaves are changing made it a very scenic trip. The first things we noticed was this property has a great view of the river across the road and was very clean. The location is tucked away from the main highway yet easy to get to many locations within a few minutes. Someone mentioned not to trust GPS but with the lack of street signs at the intersections GPS was necessary. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone coming to visit Asheville. Thanks Jason for letting us enjoy your place.
Beautiful view, tucked away on a mountain with cozy and comfortable decor. Lots of lighting and windows so you are awake with the sun (I prefer the dark when sleeping in) Only 15 mins from city, and 20-30 Mins from hiking trails and Blue Ridge Parkway. Do not trust gps to find house but directions provided by host was lifesaver. No issues other than wifi/service going in and out at times and coffee provided (which was only pantry item in there) so I would have liked a little cream/milk also. (I donât do home rentals often so maybe this is a norm)
Definitely recommend staying here in the future and would love to come back! Thank you for a great experience!
The house was well set up and quiet with a view of the brook. The owner was wonderful and easy to deal with. I highly recommend staying here and would stay here again.
Excellent house! Beautifully decorated and so close to downtown Asheville!
We loved our stay here! The property is even better than the photos! Easy communication with the owner and the location was ideal. We look forward to coming here again. Many thanks!
This rental is clean, modern, and oh so comfortable. The bi-level layout is spacious and well thought out. The view from the stone deck includes a wide stream and a hill with a donkey and his best horse friend. We truly enjoyed our second stay at this property.
My Husband and I stayed at this property in celebration of our first wedding anniversary. The property was beautiful and the location was even better. Even though youâre a short drive from downtown Asheville you feel as if youâre hundreds of miles away because itâs so peaceful. We will certainly stay at this property again.
I designed this home for guests, and built it in 2020 and have been an Asheville resident since 2002. I moved here mainly due to my passion for the mountains, rivers, and the amazing small city of Asheville. The art scene in Asheville and the surrounding area is an epicenter of creative talent.
Set elevated on a hillside in trees, rhododendron's and mountain laurel, the windows and skylights give this unique property an open outdoorsy feel. The outdoor, covered stone patio is an extension of the living room giving our guests great views of the sunsets and the river below. The sound of the river below will relax you as you unwind from your Appalachain mountain and Asheville adventures.
