Enjoy a relaxing vacation at our waterfront home on a quiet and serene area of the lake with access to 56,000 acres of Lake Hartwell. 4 Queen beds in separate rooms + bunk bed room. Our home is close to Clemson University, Anderson, and Greenville. SC Botanical Gardens, Portman Marina, Broyles Landing, Green Pond Boat Landing/Event Center, and numerous restaurants are just minutes away.
Enjoy lake views as soon as you enter the front door. This single story home features a great room with vaulted ceilings and fireplace and a spacious sunroom with large sliding glass doors overlooking the lake. Watch the game on the 55” flatscreen TV or relax on the large walkout deck with views of the lake. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking family meals that can be enjoyed at the dining table (seats 8) or cook steaks on the grill and eat at one of two outdoor tables on the newly refinished deck. All on one level are 4 bedrooms, including a large master with Queen bed, bay window sitting area, vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, smart TV, and en suite bathroom with tub/shower. Two additional large bedrooms with Queen beds and ceiling fans share a full hall bathroom with tub/shower. A 4th large bedroom has a Queen bed with an attached room with a twin size bunk bed and a half bath. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer and iron/ironing board. The front covered porch includes two rocking chairs for relaxing in the evening or you can sit on the back deck and watch the sun set over the water.
The lot is gently sloped to the water where you have access to a newly refurbished single slip covered dock and sun deck with lounge chairs for sunbathing and a swing for relaxing. The dock is on a quiet area of the lake and has a ladder and deep water (13’ at full pool) for swimming. When the water levels are lower there is also a beach area available. We have fishing gear available if you want to secure a fishing license and like to fish. 2 kayaks (with life vests) are available for you to enjoy. Bring your own boat or rent a boat or jet ski from one of several boat rentals on the lake. Visit one of many parks on the lake. There is a new water park and beach on the lake (Shores of Asbury) 2 miles from the house. The lowest bridge going to the house has 8.5-ft clearance at full pool.
The house has a perfect location off popular Clemson Boulevard (Hwy 76) near exit 19 off I-85 with numerous restaurants. We are 15 minutes to Clemson University, perfect for visiting the kids, attending baseball or football games, going to graduation or orientation. Anderson University is just 20 minutes away. The quaint area of Pendleton has shops and restaurants right up the road. Downtown Greenville with many shops, restaurants, and a riverwalk with falls along the Reedy River is only 35 minutes away.
