Welcome to the Mayflower Bungalow, your cozy home-away-from-home at The Calico Seahorse! Immerse yourself in nautical charm and Plymouth's vibrant spirit just a 5-minute stroll from White Horse Beach. This themed bungalow, one of seven unique escapes, sleeps five comfortably with a queen bed, a queen sleeper couch in the living room, and a twin futon on the enclosed porch.
Unwind in Comfort:
Mini-split air conditioning and heating ensure year-round comfort.


The fully equipped kitchen features essentials for preparing delicious meals, along with cookware for the provided gas grill.

Great stay

What a great place to stay! Comfortable little bungalow with just a short walk to the beach. Everything we needed was right there. Our little dog loved it too, would stay here again.

Amazing!

Everything was first class and easy. Location amazing and a 5 minute walk with a great cart provided to move all your beach gear!The 2 outdoor spaces were great and the back was nicely shady and super private

Perfect summer getaway

This cottage was the perfect place for a little summer getaway. It was clean, comfortable and equipped with all the necessities. I greatly appreciated being able to bring our dog with us, he loved the dog friendly beach. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and so easy with the provided beach chairs and wagon. Johanna was a wonderful host who allowed us to add on an additional nights stay just a few weeks before our trip. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

Perfect Beach Getaway

We have stayed at the bungalows previously. It’s always been a great experience. The house has just what we needed for a short stay. The Mayflower had the perfect space for a family of 3 to visit the beach. Kitchen was a great size and well stocked. The property owner has always been nearby and responsive when we needed something. It’s great that you get two off street parking spots.

Mayflower

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mayflower cottage. The property was story book cute with colored cottages and adorable Adirondack chairs. The cottage comfortably fit all 5 of us and had central air conditioning. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with no noise whatsoever. They offer chairs, boogie boards and beach carts to use with a three to five minute walk to the beach. We will definitely be returning! Thank you JoHanna

Adorable cottage walking distance to Whitehorse Beach!

Working remotely 5 minutes from Whitehorse Beach for the week was fun, and my pup LuLu loved it! The park across the street was a good shady outside spot as well. Crisp AC was a huge plus with the 90 degree days. Johanna is very accommodating and has everything you need for the beach, too! Just bring your swimsuit and towel! Fully stocked kitchen was wonderful. I really as appreciated the mini bottles of olive oil. We ate at the cottage during the trip and I didn't bring any, and didn't have to buy a whole bottle either! Thanks Johanna!

We are within a five minute walk of White Horse and Pricilla Beach. There is a delightful Country store on the way, convenient to pick up any last minute items for your beach day. The beaches are long and beautiful with breathtaking scenery. The beaches convey an easy, family atmosphere, where your sure to make new friends or simply dive into your summer reading adventure. At the end of the day, enjoy a lingering, hot, outdoor shower, grill up your favorite summer delights, or explore the many fantastic restaurants, all just a short drive away. At night, relax by the glow of the fire pit with family and friends, while you reminisce about a day well spent.

The most important thing is to relax and enjoy the splendor of Plymouth, Manomet and White Horse Beach and the surrounding wonders of this picturesque area. This is the perfect setting to reconnect with family and friends, while enjoying all the sights and sounds of summers past and present. Whether you are a sun seeker, sea glass collector, biker, birder, history buff or just want to relax and take it all in, you have come to the right place. There is also a beautiful dog park, directly across the street, with walking paths and placards posted throughout the park, that describes the history of this area. We are 35 minutes from Boston and 13 minutes from Cape Cod.
