The property was beautiful. Even the professional photos online didn’t adequately capture the scale of the home and property. Lots of room to breathe and top-notch finish out. The cul-de-sac felt private. The kitchen well-appointed. And the sauna was our favorite way to end each night of our stay.Shane was a great host, striking a perfect balance between follow up and space. Would confidently recommend to others.

This property is amazing. Every detail was perfect. It was spotless, had lots of ambiance and many amenities. We stayed for three nights and the owner checked in with us via text to make sure everything was as we needed in to be. We have an EV and the plug for charging was convenient and charged at 32amps. The only thing that was not perfect is we had to leave!

Our stay at this cabin in the woods was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how peaceful everything felt. Such an awesome home..!! We enjoyed our stay. It was an absolutely perfect setting for our 4-day getaway before the holidays. We were able to enjoy the fireplace and sauna with the Christmas tree being an extra bonus. Shane was an excellent communicator. The design inspiration for this custom cabin came from family trips to the 30A area of the Florida panhandle. The vacation homes along Rosemary Beach, Seaside and Watercolor offer volumes of space, professional décor, and comfortable for a relaxing stay near the ocean. This cabin attempts to create that same emotion and warmth in its spaces while emphasizing the beauty of its best asset, the serenity of trees. Its not the ocean, but there is something about sitting outside and listening to the wind rustle through trees. This Cabin was not designed to maximize guests or revenue, its was created for my family and others that appreciate the meaning of "time away". Vacation is for memories, not just passing time.

The name 'Chasing Rumors' was created from my daughter after our 6 year old German Shepherd named Rumor. However, Rumor is not allowed at her own cabin that bears her name since I want a pet free environment for myself and guests.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I designed this cabin to serve as my home away from home, not just a short term rental. My hope is feel the same way within seconds of walking through the front door. The walk-in pantry, walk-in closets in each bathroom area, the emphasis on providing great views while not sacrificing privacy are key elements to make this property different than the others. This was created for how my family enjoys comfort and hope it meets your expectations as well.
