Hathaways Cottage in Stratford, Ontario, is a one room B&B, located close to the downtown and theatres. Our Ontario Cottage style home was built is 1896, and features a loft on the back side of the house. Enjoy a quiet stay, our comfortable front porch, and our delicious breakfasts. Our B&B has been in operation for over 20 years. We look forward to meeting you and staying with us.

Thank you Rachelle and Kevin! So clean, so quiet, breakfast so delicious and bed so comfortable. My daughter and I had a wonderful stay and it was a pleasant walk to the Avon Theatre, shopping and dining.

this B&B is immaculate, owners are lovely. the only drawback are the stairs - one must feel comfortable climbing steep stairs despite an excellent railing

The room was comfortable, breakfasts good, the whole house is very nice and Rachelle and Kevin were pleasant and helpful. And the location is convenient to the theatres, downtown and the train station.

Great place to stay in Stratford!

I had a fantastic stay at this bed and breakfast! The hosts were incredibly accommodating, the food was delicious, and the room was cozy and well-appointed. The location was ideal, as anywhere we wanted to go was just a short, pleasant walk away. Strongly recommend!

Perfect!

This beautiful property is within walking distance of downtown, theatres, shops, and restaurants. We had excellent communication with the owners, Rachelle and Kevin. They were both very kind and friendly. Our space was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was very good. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Delicious breakfast!

Wonderful hosts! Great location (10 minutes walk to the Avon Theatre). Comfortable, clean room and ensuite. Large walk-in closet. Highlight: the very delicious omellette made fresh and served with fruit salad, juice and coffee.

It's a lovely place to stay, and it's within easy walking distance to the theatres, shopping, and dining. There is only one well-appointed and cozy bedroom. Home-cooked breakfast. Driveway parking.

For my parents Anniversary my dad took my mom to Stratford for some shows, her favorite. They stayed at this B&B and both of them have been raving about it since they returned home. The family was so kind and wonderful to talk with. The home was immaculately kept. The family dog was a pleasure to have around. The owners thought of everything! A cute delicious chocolate dessert, from a local shop, awaited them in the bedroom’s refrigerator. Definitely a place they’d come back to. They thoroughly enjoyed their time there.

Excellent Stratford Stay

A comfortable and convenient B&B with excellent hosts and great breakfasts. The home and property are beautifully maintained and the hosts very friendly and helpful. Our only note is the tight flight of steps up to our room on the second floor.

Great hosts, great location, great property! Only possible question was the number of stairs leading up to the room - just a little challenging for some... Would definately recommend it.

Hathaway cottage is clean and welcoming. Rochelle and Kevin are gracious hosts who have your comfort in mind. Shopping, dining and the Avon Theatre are 12-15 minute walk through the neighborhood .

We enjoyed our two-night stay at Hathaway Cottage. Our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious, and the hosts were kind and helpful. The property was convenient to shopping, restaurants, and the theaters. Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time to interact with the friendly house dog Nyla. Great stay.

Comfortable upstairs apartment in a charming home, a 15 minute walk from theatres in Stratford. The proprietors, Rachelle and Kevin , were very welcoming as was their friendly French Water pup, Nyah. Well equipped with nice breakflsts greating us each day.
