House was very clean and host was very quick to reply. There are 2 bedrooms- the downstairs bedroom (master) does not have a door and in order to get to the upstairs bedroom, you have to walk through the master bedroom. Not great for privacy. Couldnât find the remote for the upstairs tv- but wasnât that big of an issue. We were in for a bowling tournament and only stayed 2 nights! It was a great stay and we would stay here again!
What a special little jewel. Such a nice place ! Everything was perfect! Spacious and the deck was wonderful!!! Great place to stay ! We hope to return. The host was wonderful!!!What a special little gem! This place is simply wonderful! Everything was perfectâspacious and the deck was fantastic! Itâs an ideal place to stay, and we hope to return soon. The host was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful stay! Very accomadating. Would recommend for sure to anyone ! Wonderful!
This was a great place to stay for a last minute holiday weekend getaway with our boat. Itâs such a cozy little house thatâs in the perfect location and had everything that we needed.
Was a short stay, but accomodated all our needs. Cute little lake house with a very pleasant host. She was very prompt at answering any questions I had. Definitely would stay again!
Property was located on False River; Nice place to catch catfish and relax with private pier and beautiful view of the river and ducks. The property is older but you can tell has had renovations in the kitchen. The downstairs bed was very squeaky. We didnât use the upstairs room. The couches could be updated. They were very lumpy. The shower is super small and not for a taller person. We did have to change the shower liner because it had mildew on it. Also, noticed some hair in the tub but overall the house was clean. No central air but does have window units. There is some construction going on on both sides of the house. However, it was not disturbing. There are some restaurants within 15 minutes or so if you want to eat out. And thereâs a nice little town called St. Francisville thatâs not far away. The host did answer questions and was friendly.
Nice stay although hot Louisiana summer. Close to boat launch for boaters, but access road is steep on the ends. Host and place was great and as advertised. We loved sitting on the covered dock and just enjoying the water. Looking forward to another visit in the future.
Hannaâs property was just what we were looking for! It is a wonderful little lakehouse for a quick gateway. It is an easy drive to Baton Rouge, but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. We have already recommended it to some neighbors in our home town.
We stayed here for a little weekend getaway. The property is just as listed. I donât see why some complained about various things. As long as you donât go in expecting a $500,000 lake house, youâll be fine. Hannah has fixed the place up very nicely! Great view of the lake with decks galore. Hannah is an awesome host, very quickly responds to questions. We would a ABSOLUTELY stay here again.
We spent 3 days with the family spending most of our time on the water. The property offered very nice spaces on the dock and back porch to enjoy the morning and evenings outside. Inside is a very comfy space to spend evenings over dinner and some family games. The owner is very friendly and responsive. Good location for us with boat launch 2 miles away with launch, gas, and store needs. Would definitely stay again. Thank you
The host was responsive and communicative but the property was unclean. There was mice and mice dropping on the bathroom towels and inside the kitchen cabinets. There was a termite problem which prevented us from being able to utilize the outdoor patio. There was no soap in the bathroom and no coffee filters. The location is great but it needs a deep cleaning and pest control.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this interesting little cabin. The view of the lake was a great way to start and end the day. I do feel it necessary to point out that the transition from living area to downstairs bedroom is odd, going from a normal ceiling height to a very low ceiling. I almost knocked myself out a couple of times because I forgot to duck going through the doorway and down the stairs. Also, the low ceiling means the showerhead is about a foot too low. I felt like Will Ferrell in the shower scene of Elf trying to wash my hair. Small issues to be sure, but you should be aware.
