A century old house in the Bergen, right next to LeRoy, has been updated to make your stay enjoyable. This three bedroom home with a two car garage is centrally located, near Batavia, LeRoy, Byron, and Rochester, with Buffalo not too far away...
This was our second time staying at the farmhouse and it was perfect. It is close enough where we could drive into town to get what we need and secluded enough where its quiet and we have privacy, which is exactly what we look for. The firepit in the back was a great way to end the day. Its a nice cozy house where we could kick back and relax, away from the hustle of everyday life. We would definitely return when in the area again.
The property met our basic needs for the weekend. Nothing fancy, but it was clean. The interior of the home could definitely use some updating, new paint and spiffing up. But it was fine since all we needed it for was a place to sleep. And the price sure beats a hotel room.
The owner was very accommodating, very good communication. Wonderful older farm house that is typical for the area. I would say some of the window blinds need replacing and the traffic during the day is fast but plenty of yard for our doggie to play. Overall graet place for a relaxing stay. We will be back!
Booked this place to be near a anniversary celebration for a couple we have known for years. Its was my wife and I, as well as our daughter and her 10 year old son. Its a quiet house with a nice sized yard, perfect for a game of catch with my Grandson. It is an older house but clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable, Water was nice and hot, Kerig coffee pods were provided as well as bottled water in the fridge. Like most places you might not find everything you need in the cupboard but on the plus side you can get to a nearby Wegman's which is always a bonus if you are traveling anywhere in Western NY. There was a grill but we didn't get a chance to use it as we were there for just 2 busy nights The 2 bedrooms upstairs were accessed by a narrow staircase in case that would be an issue for anyone and the downstairs bedroom was adjacent to the living room. All the beds were comfortable. We would stay again if the need came up,
Nice farmhouse in the farmland of upstate New York. A clean, quiet place. All the amenities one could need. We were visiting extended family over at Horseshoe Lake, just a 6 minute drive.
We planned to watch several of the grand kids games and one fantastic night at the Sabres game!! So nice to come back to a home not a hotel room. We are planning to do this again next year and will rent this house again. The house is older so some things are a little worn, but all was so comfortable
This was a great location for us during the tent revival we were participating in Batavia. We enjoyed retreating to the property every evening. There was plenty of space to be together or separate. Thanks for the great time.
We have stayed here before, and were very pleased. This visit was equally as pleasureable. Will definitely stay again if available. Everything was as promised.
Very nice place to stay. Country setting. Very private and quiet. Accommodations were very nice. The host thought of everything and was very responsive when there was a question. Would definitely stay there again.
My family and I booked this house for a few nights when we were in the area for a family reunion, and it was perfect. A nice and quiet area to go back to and relax at. The fire pit was a nice touch, and just being able to sit outside without having to listen to city noise made it very relaxing. Inside the house was comfortable, with enough space for everyone to chill but not have to be on top of each other. Communication with the owner Walter was excellent, although we didn't have to communicate much, when we did was quick to respond
This was our second time staying here while we attended a family reunion in Batavia, NY. Older, clean farm house with a large yard. Great option, especially when there arenât very many options in the area.
The house was perfect for our needs. Nice quiet location. Decent for being an older house. Could use some more kitchen items like a dish drainer, dish towels, and baking pans.
Friends and Family stayed at The Shepherd Farmhouse for 3 night ghts & 4 days. We gad great communication with owner/manager of the home.
He helped us yo surprise family we were visiting amd all went well. There was a terrible accident at the intersection of West Bergen & Griswold that knocked out everyoneâs electricity for half a day. Our contact was rught in the ball when notifications of electricity reparation. The home was great. We enjoyed ourselves.
The house was clean and well stocked with what you need. An excellent supply of towels and linens. The stairs are steep, as you would expect in a house of this age. The grounds are beautiful. Very peaceful surroundings.
Quaint little farmhouse. Location was excellent less than 10 minutes to grocery/eateries. Access to entertainment within 20 minutes. Host was super informative and response time was quick. Definitely recommend to others traveling to this area. Thank you.
