Pete's Paradise is the perfect beach house to escape the crowds and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of the Forgotten Coast. This coastal home has an open concept living area with a split floor plan and offers all-new, modern amenities including vinyl plank flooring throughout! Enjoy hours of entertainment in the shaded backyard under the covered patio or gather around the fire pit with friends and family for a fun evening. Miles of white sand beaches and pristine water are just a short 2.5 blocks away from the home (less than a 5-minute walk) in St. Joe Beach, FL.

As you enter the home you are greeted with an open concept living, dining, and kitchen area which is beautifully decorated with modern furniture and inviting coastal decor giving you plenty of space to stretch out and relax. The fully equipped kitchen features a large island, pantry, and new appliances. The open concept living area with tons of natural light is a great place to gather with friends and family for an ultimate beach getaway. 55-inch smart TV located in the living area with access to log in to your own Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. account.

The split bedroom floor plan gives you privacy from your guests. The spacious master suite offers a king bed, 43 inch smart TV, and an en-suite bathroom with double vanity. One guest bedroom has a queen bed, while the other has bunk beds. Guest bedrooms share a full bathroom with double vanity. On-demand tankless hot water heaters are available for plenty of hot water for everyone.
When you are ready to venture to the beach, you'll find paradise in less than 5 minutes! Load up the beach buggy (provided for you) and enjoy combing the secluded beach for shells, snorkeling, kayaking, sunbathing, surfing waves, fishing, or taking a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, you'll spend hours of fun while soaking up the sun. For the fishing enthusiast, launch your boat at the nearby Mexico Beach Marina boat ramp or Port St. Joe boat ramp and take in some first-class fishing, or book your family on a fishing charter day trip out on the water to catch your dinner.

After a long day at the beach, make your way to the backyard for some fun and games, or kick back with your favorite beverage under the covered patio. Gather around the fire with smores and make memories of a lifetime. Outdoor games are provided for your enjoyment.

When you are ready to venture out, visit nearby Port St. Joe for shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Downtown offers cute shops along Reid Avenue, many restaurants, and grocery stores. Don't forget to check out the historical Lighthouse and Sea Turtle Museum. We love our sea turtles! Mexico Beach is just a few miles away and offers restaurants and shops. For an adventure, take a ride to Cape San Blas and visit St. Joseph Peninsula State Park for access to the beach and Joseph bay. It offers natural hiking trails, miles of untouched beaches, and access to launch kayaks or paddleboards to adventure along the gulf coast. For an amazing experience, you can horseback ride on the beach from Salinas Park.

If you are interested in wildlife and natural beauty, plan a trip over to St. Vincent Island by ferry boat for the day. Hike around the island and explore our native wildlife and foliage. About 30 miles away is the historical fishing community of Apalachicola. It's perfect for a day trip to do a little shopping, stroll along the Apalachicola River or grab some of the best seafood around! You won't be disappointed! There are so many options to do without crowds or traffic!

This home is pet-friendly, and allows up to 2 dogs. If you choose to bring a pet, a charge of $125 plus tax will be added to your reservation after you book.

This home comes with everything you need! All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as all cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. A few essential items are provided upon arrival: Dawn dishwashing soap, one sponge, two dishwasher pods, one garbage bag, one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, two individual/small bars of soap per bathroom, one laundry powder and one fabric softener.

Some of our properties typically have beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc.) on site. However, there is no guarantee as these items tend to come and go throughout the year.

Minimum age limit to rent this home is 25 years old.

A signed Rental Agreement is required upon booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY: We strongly encourage our guests to purchase the optional travel insurance to protect your vacation investment. All reservations include an administrative fee of $35 (plus taxes) upon booking which is non-refundable in the event of a reservation cancellation. Credit cards processing fees will be charged upon cancellation which is equal to 3.25% of all payments made.

Reservations canceled at least 60 days before check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled between 30 to 60 days before check-in date will receive a 50% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled less than 30 days before check-in date will result in forfeiture of the full advance rental payments and any other payments.

Our beautiful area has been under reconstruction since Hurricane Michael in 2018. We have come a long way since then, but there is still a considerable amount of new construction going on in the area. While we strive to give you an accurate representation in our photos, we cannot guarantee that new construction near your rental hasn't begun since our photos were taken.
