The location was amazing and the price was good. The property seemed a bit neglected, kind of overrun with weeds, Stairway down to door not the safest, no real patio furniture to sit outside. The view was amazing and it was minutes to lake Michigan. The Size was decent however our biggest complaint was not having control over the temperature, thermostat. We had to text anytime we wanted the temp turned up or down. Especially annoying because the blower was right on top of the shower head and froze you out any time you went to take a shower. Definitely could have used an entrance mat (since it was rainy when we got there),
more than 1 mirror and Kitchen towels to dry dishes. Overall , we enjoyed the stay.

More Cabin than Apartment
We would not book this place again unless they greatly decreased the price. It smelled like musty basement (so much so that I had to a) shower before leaving to wash the smell out of my hair, and b) purchase cleaning supplies and candles to mask the smell even after opening windows); there were cobwebs on all of the windows and dirt covering the entry door; we didn't have a good handle on the A/C (always on full blast), the shower (erratic in its hot water), or the lights that beamed in through the bottom of a connecting door and air vent.Check in was tricky (there were a number of doors and no indicator as to which one we were assigned) and the lock was finnicky; the upstairs occupants were noisy, waking us up with walking and maybe a dryer of some sort on more than one occasion. There were no extra towels or sheets for the pull out; the bed was uncomfortable.Overall, it was not a "newly renovated apartment;" it was a rustic cabin, which is fine if you're not paying so much. We would have been better off camping.
We are Teasley and Michael. I (Teasley) have been coming out to White Lake every summer, renting cottages every summer. We are so excited to now own a property here that we can rent to others as well. We know all too well how hard it is to find rentals in this little slice of heaven. We've had many years of experience owning and managing properties in Colorado. We'd love to have you as our guests. We are constantly updating and improving. We look forward to hosting you and your family for many years to come!
We jumped on the opportunity to purchase this property because of the amount of room it has as well as it's proximity to everything. This property has a ton of potential. We love that it comes with a play area for kids. We added a firepit with chairs for our guests as well.
We are located across the street from the golf club and just a short walk from the boat launch as well as the White Lake Yacht club. You can't find a better location.
