5 Stars â Peaceful Getaway! This cabin was absolutely adorableâcozy, clean, and full of charm. The peaceful setting was exactly what we needed to unwind, and the host went above and beyond with helpful tips and local knowledge. We felt right at home the entire stay. Canât wait to come backâespecially to visit the horses again! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing escape.
Upon arrival, we noticed that the kitchen trash can was 3/4 full. The bathroom trash can was 1/2 full. The hamper in the bathroom closet was 1/2 full all from previous guests. We also noticed lots of dead bugs around the perimeter of the dining area. Also, we found mice feces in the drawers. In the hallway from the front door to the back deck door were 2 interior cameras. I didnât notice this being disclosed on the VRBO site. That said, the cabin decor was beautiful and the location was perfect. We did build a fire on the back deck and fed the horses carrots. We would stay again but not unless interior cameras were removed and the cabin cleaned a tad better.
Stayed here to go to Derby and bourbon trail. Loved the cabin, decor, and location. Peace and quiet. Great porch for fire and drinks. Horses friendly lots of birds. My kind of place.
We didn't want to leave, honestly. This is the perfect place to have a quiet, relaxing time connected to nature. We bought carrots for the horses and fed them. They appreciated our presence and let us pet them. The firepit is a huge bonus of the house. The cabin's decoration is spot on and perfect for this location. Our toddler enjoyed the bathtub a lot.The pictures don't make justice to this house. We'll be back for sure and thank you for sharing your home with us.
With only a few pictures of the property, we relied on past reviews and booked two nights!
The Property is quit a ways into the Kentucky countryside! Which is its best feature in my opinion! The Cabin is decorated in rustic/ cowboy! With modern touches as well granite counter tops a beautiful shower and freestanding bath tub!
The outside porch has its own fireplace and is covered so rainy weather wonât bother your stay!
Communication with the property owner was also great!
Would definitely stay again!
The two horses in the pasture were sweethearts!
We hated leaving. We had a very comfortable stay in all ways. Cabin in excellent condition. Never once did we turn on a TV. Beautiful views every direction. The Host is a precious gem. No complaints here. Already planning a return trip. Thank you Ms. Kris
We had an amazing 2 day get away on this property. Super rural location and super quiet! The house is perfectly decorated and very clean and the beds are super comfortable. The aura of this house was super relaxing and we will 100% be returning as soon as we have the opportunity!!
Such a beautiful place we were in town for Bourbon fest. This cabin was only about 17 minutes away and it was such a beautiful retreat at the end of the day. Highly recommended weâre hoping to see you next year thank you.
Three brothers that wanted a place to stay while attending the Kentucky Derby, but hated the idea of a hotel. The property greatly exceeded our expectations.
It was secluded, surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful scenery. The accommodations were wonderful! The barn gave us room to relax and a peaceful surrounding that made it easy to forget about the busy world around us.
The owner of the venue was absolutely wonderful. I cannot remember a time I felt so cared for by a venue owner/operator.
We would love to come back with a larger group next time!!
What a FABULOUS place to relax and reconnect with nature. The cabin was extremely clean, well built with such a wonderful charm. I look forward to staying again. I would recommend to anyone who is looking to get off the beaten path and see the true beauty of Kentucky.
