BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:


RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.

NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.

AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.

CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.

MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.

PARKING PASSES: _1 Parking Pass___ Is included with the reservation. PARKING PASSES: _1 Parking Pass Is included with the reservation. *Valid for no longer than 30 days. *Must purchase a new parking pass from our office every 30 days. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.

CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

Sand in My Boots Weekend

Location was perfect for us for the festival. Condo had everything we needed. The washer and dryer were a definite plus! Condo could have been cleaner. The ceilings are very dusty and the floors were not very clean. It does need a some tlc throughout, especially in the master bath and kitchen. Also, the ice machine only worked when it wanted to which was not very often. Front door could use some paint as it's very rusted. The pool and beach were wonderful. Beds were very comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay. Price was high I thought but I'm sure it was inflated due to festival.

Away from the cold

Location is fabulous...could use some updates...days that we were there it got "cold" at night. Furnance didnt produce heat...just air! Couldnt gggetunderststhermostat

Disappointing

I think the header says it all. My wife and I have stayed in numerous VRBOs in Gulf Shores and around the country and have been very satisfied with the accommodations. However, this time was an exception. It began at the front door, which was rusty and dirty and stood out from the other doors on the floor of the condo for that reason. Upon entering the condo, we found floors that had built up dirt in the grout along the baseboards, dust on the ceiling above the fan in the living room, cracked and chipped floor tiles, furniture inside and out that was worn and tattered, dresser drawers that were broken, missing outlet covers, a chipped mirror on the bathroom door, and chipped sinks in both bathrooms. I’m aware of Beach Ball Property’s claim that if the condo is dirty, they need to be notified to rectify, however this type of dirty comes from months of neglect. This condo needed more than a cosmetic cleaning. I can’t and won’t begin to understand why a condo like this would be marketed as a “family” destination, it isn’t. I do not plan on renting from Beach Ball Properties again.

Love GS but

We love tropic isles but the company- Beach Ball properties did some upselling that was gratuitous and the furniture on the deck/patio was falling apart. Probably won’t stay with this company again.

Wonderful Stay and Easy

The location and amenities were great! They had rental chairs and umbrellas onsite at the beach. Pool was great and having the bbq pit was a plus. Great place to stay and will def be staying in the Tropical Isles condo again!

Perfect location and family friendly

The patio furniture needs to be updated, not comfortable sitting to watch the beautiful beach view, the master bed is very firm with a creaking foundation. Everything else was outstanding! We enjoyed our stay very much.

Perfect for families!

The only issues we had was the bed was super soft memory foam that wasnt very comfortable to us. Also, the stove burners are all crooked so cooking is difficult, but they do have a hot plate so we just used that and it worked great. Other than that, it was perfect! Our code worked the first try, and management was very accommodating when we wanted to add another night last minute. We stayed with our 3 daughters 5 and under, so being able to walk right out to the beach made it a lot easier. Its in walking distance of a lot of restaurants and shops. The view from the balcony is beautiful, although its right above the pool, and one floor up you would be able to see more of the beach. The bunk beds are a tad shorter than a twin so older kids might have a harder time fitting. Bring/buy extra paper towels, toilet paper, and laundry/dishwasher detergent if staying for longer than just a few nights! Just a heads up: you cant have a canopy by the water, only umbrellas under 7ft. Canopys have to be by the dunes away from the water.

Good and would stay again

It’s a nice area and the beach is great. The building itself is ok too. The unit was 103 and it has a great view of the gulf and beach. Fridge, stove, counters and cupboards were all clean and nice. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Good supply of dishes and kitchenware. But, it does need a really good cleaning of the all floors and the couch/chair is pretty tired. Seriously, the carpet and bare floors will leave your feet dirty. The patio furniture is small and also tired looking. Could use some new kitchen tiles. We would come back to this unit. Again, the view was awesome for a first floor unit. Just needs a real, real good cleaning and a bit of furniture updating.

Tropic Isles 103

The location of Tropic Isles 103 is perfect. The view of the Gulf is amazing from the balcony. We love first floor condos. The condo itself had plenty of room for everything we needed, from a two sink bathroom, to a good sized living room, a comfy huge king bed, 1.5 baths and a furnished kitchen. We have stayed here two years in a row. The main drawback is the condo itself needs updating - everything from the floors, to the cabinets needing painting, the rug in living room seems old and dirty, the same for the lounge chair in living room. The front door is in desperate need of a paint job or just a new door. The door jam looks like it's been hacked on year after year for various key pads. It's really unfortunate, because we love everything else about the place. If just a little care would be given to the general updating.

First Spring Break Trip

Location was awesome. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and entertainment. Would have given it 5 stars if not for 2 things: 1) the Queen mattress was horrible I slept sideways on it to be able to sleep- way too worn in. Not even close to being comfortable and the mattress protecter was gross with a ?pee stain and ? Blood drops ( noticed when I stripped the bed after). 2. Code for door didn’t work . Wasted over 30 minutes on check in and I had to use the bathroom. Both of these have been mentioned in previous comments. Hopefully owners make some changes. Side notes: If you want to sit peacefully on your deck - pick a higher floor. We were basically poolside. Twin beds are smaller than twins and difficult for teens to get in and out of. My teen daughter slept on the pull out- she said you could feel the mattress wires.

Drain smell

Started out not so good the door code they gave us didn't work, had to call to get different code. Once in and settled in everything went great. Wife started to smell an odera d found it was coming from the drain. She rinsed well and put a fragrant down the garbage disposal. I think people use the disposal but don't run cold water through after done. My suggestion to the property owner would be, when cleaning up put some orange slices down the disposal and run them through. But disposals must become e rinsed thorally with cold water all the time or food will start to rot if sits for a few w days unused. Other than this we lived the condo and the view.

Place was clean, neat and safe. Furniture was dated and warn but okay as we put the extra sheets over the furniture to use it. The rug could have been vacuumed, but was okay. The kitchen cabinets and some trim could have used a fresher coat of paint. Convenient to bars, restaurants and souviner shops. Overall a great place to stay and would visit again.

Gulf shores get away

Location is excellent! We stayed on the first floor! Great view of the gulf! Our unit was good...everything you would need! Patio furniture could use some updating! Had some issues with hallway light...combo for enrty door didnt work...had some difficulties getting in touch with property person...number given was not correct! Address and gps unit did not match...went to wrong building...once we got thru all that we had a great get away!

Floors extremely cold. Living room furniture uncomfortable. Bed uncomfortable and creaks when moving or getting in and out. Dresser drawers falling apart. Stove unreliable and burners are not level. There is so much potential in this condo. The location cannot be beat. Close to everything. Management very reliable when addressing concerns and repairs.

Unannounced entry and wrong entry code

Entry code that was provided didn’t work, had to call and get a code that would work. No issue after that. A worker from the management company entered while we were there, no notice, no knock on the door or call ahead of time. He claimed he was told nobody was renting and the place would be empty.

While I didn't mind so much that the condo was dated, the floors weren't clean (my feet were black after walking around for a few hours after a shower) . The thermostat was not operating. We couldn't get it to work at all. We relied on the ceiling fans and the sliding doors to keep us comfortable. The stove eyes were slanted, which made cooking tricky. I felt that I didn't really get what I was paying for.
