The villa is located at a tranquil and peaceful location. The Jacuzzi was a great touch to cool down after a long day and enjoy the great view of the South Pacific. Sunsets were amazing. Killian who was the caretaker of the property was very helpful, patient and understanding and promptly attended to any issues we had. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Killian for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
I have rented other villas at the Legends and this one is by far the cleanest and nicest! The view on both the mountains and water is amazing and you'll have the greatest sunsets. The villa is spacious, very clean and quiet. I will come back for sure :)
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
Amazing property, excellent house & private subdivision.
Firstly, the house and property itself are amazing. The listing photos need to be updated and better quality, the rental agency is failing the property with the poor quality linens and lack of proportionate areas of photos. We were here for a full week and can say the property is outstanding, updated, large, luxury finishes, kept up, views, privacy, safe and secure! On to the next, management - This is were it lacked⊠We were meet with rude demand-like arrival, as our flight had been delayed and evidently this was not conveyed to the gentlemen meeting us. He slowly calmed into a more welcoming approach. Onto next issue, we were traveling for 30 days and had looked to this stay to be able to refresh our laundry. We arrive to no dryer, and being told it was broken and removed. This SHOULD HAVE been conveyed the minute they knew this amenity was no longer available. They didnât. And no solution was offered. Next, check out, we depart early AM, of which management states is too early, but demands they meet you days before to do a walk through for damages. This makes no rational sense, as there is time still remaining in the stay. Insist we make a midday time to meet to walk through, when youâre on holiday, you donât make plans to take up half your day, coming back to meet to walk through for no reason. We had tours booked and it was not possible. In the end we were thanked for our stay. Again the house and property were outstanding, the photos NEED updating and better quality.
We had an amazing stay. The views of the water and mountains were breathtaking. It was very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed eating outside and looking out to the mountains. There are many geckos and lizards that like to come visit you while eating and in the kitchen. The deck got a little hot in the morning as the sun comes right in. The house had everything we needed. And you must stop by the bakery at the entrance of the villas, the croissants were amazing!
We liked it a lot. Very roomy. The outside tub is actually not a hot tub but a cold tub. It was too cold for us in the evening. Unfortunately on our last nigh the air-conditioner in the bedroom failed. I was kind of missing a proper dining table. Instead, a kitchen-island with bar stools is used. Apart from that, a nice house.
The location was great and the view as well! Great hosts too. There were a few small things we noticed it needed. There weren't any wash clothes for the bathrooms, and no extra toilet paper. Also, the electric went out several times, but it was easily fixed. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
Beautiful place with an amazing view. Anais and Clement were very kind and helpful.
Some tools missing in the kitchen if you want to cook your own meals: only 2 knives to cook. Beds are very very firm! Location is good: near the 2 most beautiful bays and in front of the Intercontinental where you can go swim with the dolphins! Swimming pool is nice and to go down and back to the villa, you will exercise yourself everyday! No view on the sunset though.
No one greeted us. No information in the villa on how to run anything. I called the owner he was rude to me.Two days later we called and demanded someone come to review everything. She was a big help. The villa furniture was old and cushions needed to be replaced.
This was our first trip to Moorea and this place helped make our stay epic. The picture really donât do this beautiful Villa justice.
First, our communication with Anais was seamless from booking to checking out. She was extremely friendly, accommodating and thorough. Anais helped guide us to our property and then walked us through and made sure we understood everything (washer & dryer are in French for us English speaking visitors).
The Villa is breathtaking, quiet, secluded, and yet open, spacious, clean, and relaxing. To be secluded in a tropical jungle mountain and yet have a breathtaking taking view of the Pacific Ocean, incredible. The Villa is open and not completed sealed off where the roof and walls meet and you have the ability to open the sliding doors and windows for a cross breeze. A ceiling fan or at least some oscillating fans in the living area would be a welcome touch. The master suite & bath are incredible and luxurious with room air conditioning. We arrived to find fresh local flowers and greens on our bed, such a lovely touch you would expect in a resort.
The kitchen was great for cooking and had everything we needed and the living area was comfortable for relaxing. Our favorite was the wrap around deck, lounge chairs, and plunge pool! We dined outside in the covered dining area and utilized that plunge pool every afternoon. We would highly recommend this stay, especially for romantic couples. Thank you again Anais, so memorable!
Villa Legend is a dream space for those who want to stay on the magical island of Moorea. The villa is a perfect retreat from it all. High above the waters below, the view is most impressive. Our host was wonderful, communicated great and offered to help us setup activities. Can't wait to go back.
A really brilliant place to stay. Great location in the NW of the island, across the road from a well known place to swim with sharks and stingrays. Great host. The house is up the hill overlooking the lagoon, meaning you get both the views and a breeze. The only downside is the mosquitos - but they are a feature all over the island. The place is very well set out, clean, pretty well stocked with essentials and, for good measure, has a wonderful deck and great jacuzzi. Hard to fault. Word of warning though - donât try to go hiking up the surrounding hills. They are riddled with a spreading lawyer vine.
We selected this villa for a 6-nt stay away from the big tourist hotels. After navigating the steep winding entry road, the view was amazing. Overall the place was spacious and attractive but more worn than depicted in the photos, which attests to itâs steady use. We found that the villa was appointed with comfy furniture and major appliances but lacked small kitchen conveniences such as a toaster, better cooking utensils, sharp knives, more wine glasses, etc. The decor could use a refresh to replace the mismatched towels, dark brown bedding, temp sofa cover and stacks of +5yr old magazines and travel guides. The host Anais was very friendly and helpful and promptly handled maintenance issues during our stay. The wi-fi was reliably good and is needed to stream alternate programs to the French language tv channels. The a/c was only in the bedrooms due to the open-air roof eaves of the wood ceilings, but worked well for restful sleep. Typical of tropical homes, there will be geckos and insects indoors, a colorful aspect of local living. The villa location is a short distance to some great restaurants (Le Lezard Jaune, Snack Mahana, Coco Beach dock pickup) so youâll need a car to get around. If youâre a seasoned traveler, this villa is a relaxed self-catering option for stays longer than 3-4 days on Moorea, but it may not meet the expectations of those looking for hotel luxury.
