The house was excellent and had everything we needed for a great stay. The owner was very accommodating to our very last minute booking! Close to town and also the backcountry.
We had a large group of women on a yoga retreat and the house with so many bathrooms was perfect! There were also 2 1/2 baths near the kitchen that I didnât see listed that were a bonus. We cooked all our own food and there were plenty of kitchen items. Also so nice to see an over abundance of towels & bedding.
We loved staying at Piedra Pines! It was very spacious and accommodating. And sitting outside on the porch each evening visiting and watching the lightning and hearing the thunder roll in was heaven! What a great place for a family vacation!
Beautiful views and spacious. I kept thinking I was looking outside at a portrait or picture of some sorts because the view was that Beautiful. Secluded enough to capture the beauty and trails of what pagosa springs offers and yet close enough to the city where nothing is too far away.
My family stayed here mid March (5 adults 4 kids) and loved it. The place was beautiful and had tons of space. There is a great sledding hill 2 miles away. I highly recommend this place and would love to return.
This was a wonderful home! Every bedroom has its own bathroom and there were 3 common areas for family to gather. It is a short drive to Pagosa Springs and about a 30 minute drive to Wolf Creek. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I would recommend this beautiful home!
Our large group (7 families!) loved staying at this home. The views were spectacular and the children had fun exploring/playing on the property. We had ample space for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was a bit small for the amount of food we had to prepare, but we made it work. All-in-all, we would definitely stay here again!
This home is a wonderful place for families....everyone has their own bathroom! And the basement is great for kids along with the huge family room in the morning for those "littles" who get up earlier than the rest of the family! We love staying here and sitting out on the patio in the evening, visiting, and looking at the mountains. And the thunder and lightning put on quite a show for us, as well. Its just the perfect place for a large group to meet and enjoy time in the mountains.
We had a wonderful stay. The property manager had set up a Christmas tree and brought a pack n play so we didn't have to bring one. The bedrooms/suites were wonderful so everyone had their own bathroom. The teens/preteens took over the basement and had their own little place. We shared many meals together and the views were spectacular. We would definitely return here for a spacious, comfortable vacation for the whole family.
The layout of the house is wonderful. The kids had their space, each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom and the common space was adequate. The kitchen area was a little tight for several meal preparers to work at once but we worked it out fine. With our large group, we ate most of our dinners outside. The Texans in our group would have liked more ceiling fans on the main floor. We loved the house and would definitely like to stay here again sometime. The location is great, too.
We had an amazing time at this beautiful house. Our party had10 adults and 2 teenagers. We all enjoyed the house very much. The view was spectacular and plenty of room to spread out. Canât wait to go back!
A group of our friends take a ski trip each year. We went to Wolf Creek this year and this property was amazing. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom and the kids had their own space in the basement with couches and bunk beds. There was so much room! It was amazing. The views we're breathtaking and the drive to town was super quick and easy. The owner and local contact were very easy to communicate with! Highly recommend this property.
This property is spacious and accommodated our large group well. It is very private with beautiful mountain views. Joan, the property manager, was very communicative and responsive, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and took home amazing memories.
The place and scenery is beautiful. I'd love to give this place 5 stars however without any notice until we showed up, the lower level which was to sleep 6 was no longer available and the area was when not sleeping was to be used as reception for a small wedding (owners were aware of wedding) however walls were literally pulled off the wall and there wasn't any electricity in lower level . Also the dumpster outside was full and we were unable to use it .. completely understand things happen .. just sucked to find out as we walked in ... otherwise an amazing stay :)
We attended a wedding and this was a great way for our whole family to be together. We were all under one roof, yet each had their own bathroom. We cooked and ate together and put together the jigsaw puzzle. Great, great accommodations.
Family of 18-grandparents, adult children, grandchildren all came for a winter ski trip. We were blessed with lots of snow. The property was gorgeous making a perfect background for many family pictures. One morning we saw 7 elk in the field. We enjoyed the layout of the bedrooms and the large family room with a fireplace. There were some maintenance issues but someone always came out that day.
We had 16 family members spend the week here and it was great. The location was quit and peaceful . If there was one thing I could say is that the WiFi could be better. We would differently rent here again. Thank you for allowing us to stay !
"Welcome, from our family to yours!" We are from Broken Arrow / Tulsa , Oklahoma. We are thrilled that you have chosen Piedra Pines Lodge, our home away from home. Now we want to share this experience with you. We know you will have a wonderful time with your loved ones here! Relax, enjoy, and make memories!!!
Over twenty years ago, we searched this area for a vacation home, and we chose this one for its open and relaxing atmosphere. As we worked to renew this property from an old farmhouse/bed-and-breakfast, we knew that weâd found our second home.
There are truly no bad views from our lodge. You can enjoy your morning coffee from the back patio while viewing a beautiful sunrise over the pine-laced valley and the gorgeous San Juan Mountains that is our backyard.
