Overlooks magnificent lawn fields, surrounded by open space, estates, and farms. 1 mile to Warren Center, under 10 miles to Mohawk Mountain Skiing and Lake Waramaug beaches.
Washington & Warren are exceptional for their excellent restaurants, spas, antique shops, art galleries, boutiques, farms, historic homes, gardens, vineyards, distilleries, and orchards. The Gilmore Girls creator modelled Stars Hollow, the perfect Connecticut town, after Washington and the Independence Inn after the Mayflower Inn. It is the current or former home to many artists, writers, actors and Wall Street executives â referred to as "more Vermont, than Vermont" and "the un-Hamptons". Nature preserves, Lake Waramaug, and the Shepaug River offer extensive hiking, biking, and water activities. This is my least expensive and smallest home available in a wonderful location between Mohawk Mountain Skiing and Lake Waramaug Beaches. It has a large master bedroom upstairs and the first level has a sleeper sofa and powder room for children or guests.
