When everyone returns from their own kind of adventure each day, the warmth of the gas fireplace, the flatscreen TV, and plush leather sofas in the living room will greet you with open opens. Not to mention, the full kitchen offers all of the appliances of home and bar seating to make meal prep a social event each night. Summer evenings can also be spent on the private balcony with a glass of wine as burgers cook on the private gas grill.

Perched less than a mile from Steamboat Ski Resort, this condo will be the perfect jumping-off point for the skiers of the group to get their fill of fresh powder each day. When you want to head out for a bite to eat or a grocery run, many restaurants and shops await just over a mile from home base. Come summer, pristine hiking and biking trails can be just the way to get outdoors and soak up the beauty of the area. Fish Creek Falls is a must if you brought your hiking boots along!

Great location and amenities

The condo is in a great location close to Gondola Square and the free bus to everything. The complex has a large hot tub and heated pool for relaxing. The condo was spacious and well stocked.

We had a great time and the location was great! I have no complaints. Parking is a little tricky but we were able to park each night in the parking garage.

Great location, basic amenities

Really convenient location less than a 15 minute walk from the base area for easy access to dining. They had a free shuttle and there was a free city bus stop across the street too. Beds were comfortable, fireplace was nice, good views of the sunset from the windows. It had what we needed, and I especially liked that we could fit 5 people with no one having to sleep on a pullout couch. We did not use the outdoor pool or hottub but did see others using them. The unit had the basics that we needed, it was a bit dated, could use some refreshing and the kitchen could be better stocked - like leave the previous people's oil and things like that so each group doesn't have to re-purchase it. The check in process was a bit annoying - we had to go to another place to check in, the instructions they gave us did not tell us which floor our unit was on, the numbering was not intuitive, and the directory that it said would tell is this did not exist so we were going floor to floor looking for our unit, then when we found it there was an error in the door code they had given us so we had to call back about it. After those hiccups it was all good.

So nice and quiet, good location. a little stream goes by the master bedroom window. Well furnished, the kitchen had all we needed. No AC and that is fine in the mountains except for about 2 weeks out of the year, it was hot when we were there. It would get stuffy in the afternoon with all the (beautiful) west facing windows. There were fans and we couldn't help but think if there was one more box fan we could have more easily pulled the cool night air through the condo and cooled it off better at night. The hot tub and pool were nice and clean. Or access code for the garage stopped working the last day and we had to use a side door to access it then open the "out" to get in. They tried to fix it for us but the new code would not work either.

The Little Things

This property was fine but there were many little things took away from what could have been a great condo. When we arrived we were told the broken toilet paper holder would be fixed. It never was. The latch on the top of the door was broken. Maintenance did install another one. My husband spent forever trying to find the tv remote. It was located 20 minutes later under the couch. There were no towels at the hot tub (the instructions said to towel off and there are towels to get). After trying to call the number for 30 minutes someone finally answered (during hours) and said they were out of towels. My kids had to go in sopping wet (we didn’t have many extras in our condo). My kids could not find the remote to the tv in their bedroom. Overall, the property could use some updating. We will probably not stay in another Vacasa managed property. Next time we’ll spend a little more money for something nicer.

Perfect for Family of 5

Perfect location, amenities, and space for our family of 5 (kids aged 16, 13, 11). Free shuttle to and from the hill, which ran every 10 min, which picked up at the driveway of our condo. An additional shuttle for other trips (to downtown and the grocery store) was just a phone call away and very convenient. We took the Steamboat Express shuttle from the Hayden airport and did not need a car the entire week. Kitchen appliances are dated, but other than 2 stove burners which didn't work, they all functioned well. Consistently hot water for showers, comfortable beds, and a decent amount of seating in the family room. The condo itself was spacious and bright, with lots of windows and views of the slopes. I had one issue with Vacasa rental management, in that they changed the code to our condo door 20 min prior to the mandatory 10am check out. It ended up being fine, because we were still in the condo, but my kids took the trash out and couldn't get back inside. Could have been a problem if we were out to breakfast, and returning to pick up our suitcases for our 10am check out. We were not told this would be changed early. Also - I left my iPad in the condo, and after a bit of a fiasco contacting someone who could help me, they are planning to mail it to me (have not received yet). Once you check out, they change the keypad and there is NO WAY to re-enter the condo. We had to leave the iPad behind, even though I was standing at the condo door & new it was inside.

Nice place during the morning and evening hours

We enjoyed our stay as the place was clean and very nice. We, however, were surprised that this home has no air conditioning. The average temperature inside was 87 degrees, except for after 9 pm, when we were able to cool the house down some by opening all doors and windows. It would get down to around 75 degrees then. We found we had to leave the home between noon and 6 pm most days to get relief. We ran 4 fans 24 hours a day to help, having to buy one ourselves. We contacted Vacasa, who manages the home, and were told we should have searched for a home that has air conditioning, as most homes in this area don't have air. We spoke to the only other two residents in our building that we encountered and they both have air conditioning. I noted that I have lived in Colorado for almost 30 years and have vacationed in ski areas in the summer here. I have never ran across a place that doesn't have air conditioning. I should note that I didn't search to see if this home had a kitchen sink or a toilet either, as these should be expected items. I feel if this home is to be rented during the summer, it should note "No air conditioning" instead of just not checking the air conditioning box on amenities. Vacasa told me, five days ago they would have someone contact me about my complaint and for possible reimbursement for my expenses but I have not received any correspondence from them

Good for our family!

Meadows Windsor III. Stayed December 2021. Excellent stay, easy to get to ski area with the Vacasa shuttle, all conveniences of home with the kitchen, in-unit washer-dryer, clean towels, and small amenities. Has a DVD player, smart tv so you can log in to your own Disney or Netflix, etc. Has ski and bike storage closets with locks. The space itself has dated cabinets, could be modernized, washer needs a sign on it for people to leave the front-load door open so it can dry out and not be moldy, the non-master bathroom tub/shower faucet did not work correctly (we called for service but apparently it never got fixed while we were out for the day/multiple days). Nice to have an elevator in the building and indoor parking, outdoor pool heated in the 90s and hot tub was hot! And they were always clean, with pool towels available! We would stay there again despite the few discrepancies. Good for our family!
