A quick drive from Yellowstone, Creekside Cabin in the Shotgun area of Island Park is the perfect basecamp for riding ATVs, sledding, fishing and playing in nature. With hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding and wildlife viewing, you'll have access to endless adventures.

Cast a fly into the creek which is home to brook and rainbow trout. Decompress to the sound of the small waterfall. Leave your windows open to listen to the creek as you peacefully sleep.

Beyond our expectations

If your looking at this property and it fits into your itinerary book it. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO and this was by far the best one ever. Warm and cozy, clean, every single basic condiment you need to cook. It was amazing.

Creekside Cabin Delivers!

We had a great stay at Creekside Cabin. We were there for three nights and everything was just about perfect. It was an easy drive to West Yellowstone from there, and the family enjoyed a river float in Island Park as well. We were treated to a summer storm and really enjoyed watching the storm on the covered back porch. At night we could listen to the creek and the breeze in the Aspens and wow, it was relaxing. The hosts thought of everything we might need and our time at Creekside Cabin was really relaxing and fun. We had 10 in our party and there was plenty of room. Highly recommend and if we have the occasion to go back, we will!

Family Vacation

The house was as described. The area is close to a local grocery store and a few restaurants / micro breweries. It was convenient to the West Yellowstone entrance. The owners were very attentive to anything we needed and answered all our questions in a timely manner. We had 5 adults and 5 children all under 12 years old. We had plenty of room and never felt crowded. There is a nice stream in the backyard, perfect for nights on the deck and looking for moose. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay there. We have stayed at many ABNB and VRBO and this rates up there with all of them. We hope everyone enjoys this property the way we did. Best regards.

Perfect Vacation

Beautiful house-much more like a private home than a rental. It had everything we needed and so much more. The location was perfect and the hosts were great communicators. This was the best VRBO experience we’ve ever had. Hope we can return.

Beautiful cabin

This cabin is fully stocked with everything you will need to feel like youre at home. (Especially the kitchen) Its beautiful and is exactly what the pictures looked like. It has a ladder upstairs that leads to a little hideaway loft which our kids LOVED! The best part of this cabin were the hosts. They were super responsive and answered any questioned we had before we got there. 100% would stay at this cabin again.

Amazing home away from home

This cabin exceeded our expectations. The cabin was very peaceful and the back yard creek running was very calming. Beautiful area and easy to use as a base camp. Yellowstone was a bucket list check off and the cabin was a part of the experience. I hope to stay again to check off another bucket list adventure snow mobile rides

Guys Trip w/ Dad & Brother

My brother and I put together a retirement trip for my Dad. We told him as his gift that he can choose anywhere in the country to travel too and we would take care of costs, logistics, etc. After inquiring about Yellowstone National Park, we thought an outdoors guys trip would be perfect, with YNP visits being a priority. I was traveling from Georgia and the two of them from Southern California into Jackson, WY. (About 2.5 hours from this location) This region of the country is so spread out and booking the right place with proximity to YNP was important to us. Total trip to the West Yellowstone entrance is between 40-45 minutes, depending on entrance traffic. The house itself was spacious, clean and private. It would easily fit two families of four. The kitchen was fully stocked and even had a variety of seasonings and prepping items. We decided to grill out ribeyes and bison burgers because of the accommodations. Ben was actively communitive throughout the trip and was quick to respond, which is impressive given several dead spots in the region. On the morning out, we took a 3-hour horse back ride at Dry Ridge Outfitters at Harriman State Park, which was only about 20 minutes away. This was one of the most memorable trips of my life and 5/5 stars across the board. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did! Thank you, David

We are both from and love small northern mountain towns. While work obligations forced us to temporarily relocate down South, it has been our dream to move back to a cabin in the woods. We fell in love with our new cabin at first sight and we welcome you to share it with us while we are away.

We are avid outdoor enthusiasts and fly anglers who spend most of our time on various North American trout waters. While we are out traveling for work, outfitting or guiding fly fishing, the place is your to use as your personal base camp for your own adventures.

As kids, we always thought it would be fun to help friends and family find joy in the outdoors, as adults we found a way to accomplish just that. This is a living and evolving project for us and it is our intention is to create a brilliant space that offers loads of fun and relaxation. Suggestions are always welcome.

This Creekside Cabin serves as the perfect basecamp for adventure seekers and families looking to enjoy the outdoors. There are ATV and hiking trails nearby, ATV and boat rentals at the lake, access to world famous trout waters and of course, Yellowstone National Park.

Wild brook trout make Hotel Creek their home and can be found right in the back yard. A small elk hair caddis fly should do the trick.
