Comfortable country retreat in Butler County, Kansas

Set on 80 acres in beautiful Butler County, Timber Creek Lodge is nestled on the edge of the Kansas Flint Hills, providing a refreshing getaway, only a short drive from Wichita, Kansas.

A spacious "barndominium" styled in rustic industrial decor, every detail has our guests in mind. With amenities & furnishings curated to provide an intimate and luxurious country experience, guests immediately feel right at home, whether inside by the large woodburning fireplace, or enjoying nature on the covered patio.

The 1,856 sq ft of living space includes 2 private bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The great room with 25’ ceilings, boasts a large stone, wood burning fireplace, and 65" smart LG TV with all your favorite streaming services. Equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi and multiple Apple chargers, Timber Creek Lodge also has several indoor and outdoor games, including shuffleboard, dart board, corn hole, horse shoes, cowboy frisbee golf, arcade video game, board games, cards, poker chips, chess & checkers, a small library of DVD & VHS videos, and books.

On the main level is the master bedroom with queen bed, and full bathroom with walk-in shower. Up the stairs is an open loft with sitting/reading area, a game table, and a twin roll-away bed plus a small futon-like pad floor sleeper (ideal for kids!). Also upstairs is the private and enclosed second bedroom with a queen bed and a twin-over-full bunk bed. All together the Lodge sleeps 6-8 people.

The Lodge has a full size washer & dryer available to guests, and mud room/utility area to hang coats, bags, and store shoes and boots.

The open concept, full-size, fully stocked kitchen includes granite countertops, LG appliances including double wall ovens, and a custom-built live edge oak island as the center piece. All the essential small appliances, pots & pans, serveware, dishes and drinkware are provided.

The 16x20’ covered outdoor patio is a wonderful spot to sit and watch amazing Kansas sunrises, experience the wildlife, or relax and unwind on a perfect Kansas evening enjoying your favorite beverage. The patio is equipped with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating and a Solo Stove for evening fires.

When you come out to Timber Creek Lodge to engage in our agri-tourism experience, you have use of the Lodge and non-hunting access to 80 acres of rangeland and creek bottom. We keep paths mowed thru the pastures so guests can enjoy hiking and exploring the property, fully experiencing and immersing oneself within Kansas wildlife and nature. You're sure to spot a deer or two!

As proud patrons of local artisans, Timber Creek Lodge is furnished with several custom made pieces created specifically for the Lodge. All amenities and furnishings have been curated to give you an intimate and luxurious country experience.

Timber Creek Lodge is a peaceful place for rest and renewal, and is not a party destination or wedding party crash pad. We are a no smoking/no pet property, and request no more than 8 guests on property during your reservation.

As a Kansas registered agritourism property, we request all renters complete a supplemental rental agreement, which will be sent once your booking request is received. We kindly request this agreement be signed before booking is accepted. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

House Truths:
* Timber Creek Lodge utilizes outdoor surveillance to monitor exterior of building, and on the road to monitor entrance gate.
* NO SMOKING, NO VAPING, NO E-CIGS anywhere on the property inside or out.
* No pets allowed inside or out.
* No shooting of firearms.
* No fireworks allowed.
* No driving on grassland, please drive only on gravel drives.
* Usage of outdoor firepits is dependent upon approval from owners, and is based on current county burn bans and weather conditions.
* Due to the private nature of our property, we kindly request no more than 8 guests on property at any time during your stay.
