Fischer’s Secret Cabin on Private lake

Beautiful log home situated on 400 acres of rolling ridges, ponds and beautifully groomed walking/snowshoeing trails. Private and secluded yet close to all the amenities of the Wisconsin Dells (30 min away) and (5 min away) from Castle Rock Lake. Golf course (5mins away) Right out the front door is access to hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails and many miles of ATV trails including the famous “400” trail. This property offers a large private swimming lake for family fun great for kayaking, paddle boarding and catch and release fishing, nature watching such as deer, eagles, herons, it even has an outside shower for use after a day at the lake. Inside you will find 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and a large recreation room with a wet bar and a commercial theatre system. Spend your evenings by a bon fire under the breathtaking night sky or inside by a fire from one of the two fireplaces this home offers. The cabin would be a perfect location to host a dream wedding, family reunion, corporate retreat or just a great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the dells for a true up north experience. You won’t find another rental like this one, it’s like staying at your own private resort. The home is designed to accommodate up to 15 people comfortably.

Adam is an ideal host! He was always very responsive, helpful, and was even flexible with our check in and out times.The property was fantastic. It's super private, has plenty of space, kayaks on the property, and a big grill. Water was super clean and fun for all activities.Don't hesitate to stay for your bachelor trip or family weekend!

Perfect Remote Retreat with Great Nearby Attractions

This place felt wonderfully remote and peaceful, yet it’s in proximity to Castle Rock Lake and the Wisconsin Dells. The home was clean and comfortable, with activities for everyone. We loved fishing in Adam’s stock pond—we caught some well sized bass and walleye! A perfect mix of quiet nature and easy access to fun nearby. Highly recommend!

Perfect Cabin for a weekend getaway.

The cabin and the outside area are absolutely beautiful. There is an endless amount of activities to keep everyone entertained and having fun. We will definitely be looking to stay here again!

If you love being outdoors you’ll love it here. Property owner is very friendly, trails are great and it was an amazing way to spend a weekend with friends. We’ll be going back.

Perfect Cabin for a Bachelor Party

We had a bachelor party at Fischer’s cabin this weekend and everything exceeded our expectations. There are plenty of beds, bathrooms, and places to hang out. The basement is the ultimate space to have fun! There is also a lot of room outside for fun and the proximity to Castle Rock Lake is perfect. I will definitely be back here in the future.

Extremely rare find, you have to stay here

Adam has a very, very special place here. Firstly, the house is immaculate. It’s your classic Up Nort’ cabin, but with modern furniture, spectacular views, a really classic feel to it. The property itself is absolutely insane. We walked for what felt like miles on his trail and came across beautiful forests, wide open pastures, and all kinds of wildlife. The seclusion of the property is a huge draw because we came here as a bachelor party and got a little rowdy every night of course! The man made lake provided us with lots of great fishing! Feels like every time I put my line in I came up with something; we caught large and smallmouth bass, about a gazillion bluegill, and even a bullhead!Lastly, Adam is the man. He was lightning fast to respond and so helpful when we needed things, but also gave us the space we needed - can’t say enough good things about him.You absolutely have to stay in Fischer’s Secret Cabin! We had one of the best weekends of our lives here - 10/10 absolutely recommend this absolute beauty of a find.

Great location, not a great stay

The property is located in a great spot. It is secluded and prime location for Castle Rock activities. The property is advertised as sleeps 20: It has 6 beds and 4 couches. The house and property were under construction as of Memorial weekend of 2023 (was not disclosed to us). As a result the basement - where one of the bedrooms and 2 of the couches are - was full of sawdust and clearly not cleaned prior to our arrival. There is no wifi or cable TV. I would suggest asking questions about beds, bedrooms, amenities, wifi etc prior to booking as there is a no cancellation policy.

new Lisbon house with the mice.

Everything seems fine , owner was nice enough to let our dog stay for additional cost, very easy to reach via phone or email. We came in, everything look great until we settle in, the sheets didn't smelled right so wasn't sure if they were EVEN washed , we had mice running through the house I am aware of the mice outside but i think when people go enjoy the weekend we should not be terrified or our little ones who saw it and wouldn't sleep or walk around because of the live mice running around the house. The traps were everywhere around the house in easy to reach areas one of them have a small flybat stuck to it ,The owner had to our knowledge dogs and the floor was all over filled with black dog fur. This house has it privileges and if it wasn't for the fur all over and filthy bedroom sheets, and mices it be really great. One other thing if you live at this location I am talking about the owner please take all the stuff that not suppose to be there so later you don't accuse people of taking something like a memory card , We had small kids with us small enough that even if someone would play with something that you left behind we wouldn't know when one would put it in the house. I believe house must have everything accessible what's need to be for the guests using it everything else should be locked or put away. And I believe with 300hundred dollar fees I shouldn't be cleaning and vacuuming the floor on my way out, maybe I should of clean it the bedroom sheets too ?? be more professional about leaving the house clean and honestly no one clean the floor after staying with cleaning fees of 300$ for the pictures of the mice in side the house please reach out .

This was the worse renter I have ever had. First off all bed sheets and bed quilts are washed every time with Tide and hot water. Secondly I hire a pest company Batzer who takes care of hornets, insects and mice, but yes once in awhile you will see a mouse because you are in the country in the middle of the woods. Yes I do have a personal dog who sleeps in a dog bed, my dog is not aloud on beds or furniture, I'm a germaphobe. These tenants spit sunflower seeds all over the house. I paid cleaners $1,000 to sanitize all of the carpets because of how badly they left the house. Their dog took a crap on my carpet also. The tenants also took my snowmobile keys and atv keys and my snowmobile helmets. cost me $1,200 dollars. {The tenant told me that he thought his kid may have been playing with them} { He said I shouldn't have had them available for access} Keys were in a key cabinet and helmets were in a private closet. I have removed my Private stuff now. The tenants blew off fireworks which was against the rules and were my fireworks. I ended up filing a claim with VRBO and filing a Police Report against these tenants. I have good reviews on Airbnb if interested.

Relax and Unplug

We just stayed at this property last week in July 2022. This place is beautiful and so peaceful. We had our extended family and it was about 15 of us. We had brought a blow up mattress in addition to using all the beds, that were provided. Adam was excellent to work with and answered any questions we had. We did have some problems going on WIFI and MIFI devices, this was only an issue because one of our traveler left France in order to come, and had work he had to get done-so he was a bit frustrated. Other then that, it was clean, beautiful, the pond was lovely and the teens/young adults loved kayaking and fishing in the pond-which is catch and release. Lovely lovely place and highly recommend this place to relax and unwind and listen to nature. It was a great place. Will be back. Thank you Adam Fischer.

Beautiful Secluded Property

Our family stayed for a week, all different ages. This place offered something for everyone! And it was amazing being surrounded by nature. The cabin itself was beautiful, had all the amenities you'd need and held us all with room to spare! The only negative was it took about 5/10 minutes to get anywhere but we didn't mind at all. Adam was great with responding in a timely manner and answering any questions we had. We'll be back, thank you Adam!

Fantastic piece of property

Some friends and myself rented this property for a few nights to get away to golf and boat. The cabin and property did not disappoint. Outstanding communication with the property owner and extremely easy check in process. Cabin sits on countless acres and a couple acre pond that includes a great pier, beach and outstanding fishing. Great bon fire pit next to the beach/pond make for relaxing evenings listing to the crackle of the fire and frogs in the pond. Only suggestion would be for the owner is to take additional photos of the pond and view from the patio on the cabin over looking the pond. The photos listed do not do this place justice, incredible place!

This home was the perfect family getaway.

We loved our stay! We had small children, teens and adults and there was something for everyone. We loved: - the water - fishing - the space - the mattresses -location/privacy -amenitites What we would change: -we would love more info on the property when we arrived (trails info and locations) - top sheets We will definitely rent again if we are heading back to the area!

Beautiful setting

Amazingly peaceful setting close to the Wisconsin dells. The cabin has just about everything you need and allows for a comfy and relaxing stay.

This property is my home! So, that being said....I only rent this out when I am not here. All the beds and other items supplied are not your typical "rental" Quality, they are Home Quality! I love my home and you will too!!

You are on a slice of Private Paradise but are 15 mins away from town and a full rec lake Castle Rock lake. Also you are about 20-30 mins away from Wisconsin Dells!!
