This beautiful, fully equipped 1 bedroom suite with spectacular views of the Canadian Rockies, has everything you need to come and relax. Our classic cedar, stone, and log constructed property is in WindTower Lodge & Suites, a perfect location in the heart of Canmore close to downtown and shopping stores. Our condo unit provided with stand-alone floor heating system has a BBQ at balcony, access to a fully equipped gym and underground parking. The Condo is only 15 min drive to the Town of Banff.

Canmore condo

Very comfortable 1 bedroom condo, very clean, suitable for 2 adults to relax and take it easy. Close to town centre. Several Restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. We would stay there again.

Good condo!

I would say overall things were pretty good. We had a bit of a glitch when we hadn't received the check in instructions and had to reach out to the property owner 1 hour before check in but he quickly got it sorted out. The building is in a great location. The parking spot is VERY tight - we could fit our standard sized SUV in there but it was super tight and when the other spot adjacent to it was occupied it was a very tight squeeze - this should be advertised on the listing since many people come with larger vehicles. The Windtower building is dated so don't expect anything fancy. The walls of the units are very thin - we could hear the neighbours when we were sleeping and when we were in the living area. The door to the adjacent unit lets in a lot of noise. Good appliances and stock of kitchen items, unfortunately the bathroom fan wasn't working. For us we didn't spend a lot of time there, so it served it's purpose to sleep but it's nothing fancy and could really use a bit of an upgrade (the table is wobbly etc.) so if you're planning to spend a lot of time inside it's just okay. It was very clean.

An Awesome experience!

The property is as advertised.It was very clean and in a good location.The view from the balcony is very beautiful.We had stayed there for a day and did some bbq-ing as well. All the appliances and amenities provided were clean and in an excellent condition.I highly recommend this place and would definitely rent it again.Jeff is an amazing host.My wife had dropped her chain and pendant in the property during our stay. Jeff coordinated with the cleaner and drove out of his way to deliver it back to us.Thank you Jeff for this memorable stay!

Had a pretty decent stay with my wife here for 2 days. The unit was immaculately cleaned & tidy which was a plus. The overall building however was a different story. - Run down, the lights in the lobby were flickering on and off, etc. The walls are fairly thin, there was a random door in our apartment to another apartment (locked with a deadbolt), however, we could hear someone snoring through it. Not very soundproof. Overall, it fit our needs & pricing for a couple days but it wasn't our favorite place.

Condo has all the amenities you could want, plus it’s a 1.5km walk to Town Centre. Great shops and dining in Canmore near condo.

Good Spot in Canmore

Great location, close to downtown. Communication with manager was quick, but we got locked out at one point - luckily Jeff responded right away and was able to help out. Walls are thin, but unit was clean. Parking spots are SO small but the fact that there was a parking garage was a big plus.

Great short stay in Canmore

Jeff’s place was just as described. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. It is about a 10 minute walk to “downtown” but there are other restaurants nearby. The view down to the decommissioned hot tub still isn’t great from the balcony but there’s a great peakaboo view of the mountains. Good value compared to many of the other Canmore listings!

The condo was great for a weekend trip. Close to town and getting back on the highway. Was able to avoid all the traffic cause of location. Units are not very soundproof - was woken up by other people’s alarms or babies crying. But for a couple days, it worked out perfectly. Condo itself was very clean and well equipped.

I reached out to the host immediately after seeing I had booked wrong condo on accident. He was not at all understanding and finally after arguing with him for hours through messages he refunded me only half. Yes I understand it was my fault but I was having issues with my payment because I recently moved and hadn’t changed the address on my account. I explained this to him and he did not care. He was beyond disrespectful!

Perfect spot for mountain getaway!

Jeff’s place was a great stay for our trip to explore Banff and Yoho parks. It is nicely located close to most things and provides many restaurants within walking distance. The parking garage was extremely convenient and helpful also. The building is a bit older than surrounding condos and some of the common spaces were messy at times, but Jeff’s unit was clean and well stocked. Would stay again!

Not what I expected…

I was really looking forward to staying at a nice condo with Mountain views. That was not what this experience was. Until recently this was a poorly rated 3 star hotel (Google maps on my phone still identifies it as such). While you can see the mountains from the patio - directly below is a disgusting, unused, molding hot tub. The unit itself is nice - but the property is incredibly worn down, dirty, and outdated. The bed was very comfortable, the unit had everything I needed, and the blackout shades worked very well. Overall, this was a disappointing experience for the cost.

Downtown Canmore is within 10 minutes walking distance or a few minutes drive, where you can stroll through town and browse the shops, enjoy a nice meals, or spoil yourself with a day at the spa. If you are looking to be active during your stay, you can enjoy one of the nearby golf courses, or during ski season check out one of 4 ski resorts in the surrounding areas. There are hiking trails and bike trails, and even a nearby park to take the little ones.

The condo suite provides everything you need for a fantastic vacation. Fully equipped kitchen has new appliances and new stone counters. The bedroom has a king bed with high end form mattress. The queen sofa bed is located at living room. (the indoor windows of bedroom and living area face to the mountains). The bathroom has a new stone counter top, wash basin and faucet. There is a in-suite stacked full size washer and dryer. The dining/living space provide ample room. For your convenience, there are two controllers in this suite to adjust temperature provided by heated floor. The suite also contains a smart TV, WIFI, cable, gas fireplace. The suite also has a large balcony, and the BBQ is provided.
