Fantastic home to stay in for our 2 day visit to Titletown. Short walk to Lambeau and short bike ride to the Fox River Trail. House and backyard were awesome. Matt also accommodated our request to check-in early. This will be our go-to rental in Green Bay in the future.
Was just ok, place to sleep and location nice. Few of the selling points of the house were not working or not very clean: arcade game not working, large screen in basement would not connect, hot tub looked dirty, grills not very clean & no propane in either (however did a tank exchange and got reimbursed by owner). Also pointed out several things inside for owner to consider repairing: lamp in living room unusable, half plug (one of prongs stuck in outlet, basement damp and smells of cat urine or something foul)
Checking in and out was easy. The house was clean. Kitchen facilities were great. Wi-Fi access was good. Very close to Lambeau field. It was within walking distance. We had a great time. The back yard is exceptional as there is a hot tub and fire pit. A lot of room for the kids to play outdoor games that we brought with us. We really enjoyed spending time out there.
The property was awesome, plenty of room, and a lot of fun for our guests. Could have been a bit cleaner as it was fairly dusty and there was laundry in the washer and dryer. We would stay there again.
We stayed in GB for a weekend walleye trip. Six adult males. The layout is great! Between bedrooms and pullout beds/futons, all slept well. The games were great for a little competition. The attention to details was great. Communication very clear. Definitely would stay again
Myself and 2 other colleagues stayed here for 3 nights while completing a project in the area.It was a perfect spot to decompress after a work day. Plenty of activities to keep you entertained and relax while you are there.Would recommend it for anyone!
Our group had a blast at the house. The beds are extremely comfortable and theres plenty of futon spaces throughout the house. Our kids watched movies in the movie theater, used the arcade and could not stop playing the quarterback pass game. The hot tub was a great bonus. Location was excellent, about a mile from lambeau area and with a park across the street. We will be back!!
House was cute and well supplied. House was clean with the exception of the hot tub. The hot tub was not able to get to temp and water smelled very musty with algae growth on the sides and bottom of the tub. Unfortunate since we booked specifically for the hot tub and couldnât use it. Host was responsive but offered no solution
My family had a great time at the Lombardi House! The house itself was a fun destination and we had a great time with all the toys. We were comfortable and so much to do. We grilled, had a fire, enjoyed the hot tub, played pop-a-shot, arcade games, poker, watched the big screen, played tennis in the park, foosball, football toss. It was the perfect place to stay to enjoy Lambeau, Title Town, Green Bay and Door County. Very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay with some fun surprise touches. Host was very helpful with questions and information.
Great house for the sports enthusiast located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. The house is close to many Green Bay attractions. My grandchildren ages 10 -5, enjoyed the park across the street. The arcade and rapid shot basketball games were a hit with both kids and adults. The kitchen is smallish but was well equipped. The 3 grandchildren slept on comfortable futons in the basement. They enjoyed that. They also loved having a movie night. The upstairs bedrooms were nice sized with comfy beds. Unfortunately, we ran out of time and weren't able to use the fire pit or hot tub. The backyard is nicely landscaped with a nice wooden fence for privacy. We had one issue with a light not working in the garage that Matthew promptly attended too. As well as sending sparklers for the grandkids. Thank you
Matthew. We all enjoyed our memorable 4th of July vacation.
Stayed here with my 4-20+ grandchildren. All beds were very comfortable. The garage games were a big hit with the boys and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. Lots of wood available for the fire pit. Lots of room to spread out. Enjoyed the history of the host. Would highly recommend. Only suggestions: sharper kitchen knives and have extra kitchen garbage bags available.
My girlfriend's and I had a awesome weekend. We celebrated with our end of year fantasy football league party and this was the perfect place to do it! Great accomodations for sleeping, eating, and just hanging out.
The Pigskin Journeyman house was phenomenal! The house is very clean, organized, and has everything you need and then some! Our group of friends had a wonderful time. Thank you, Matt, for your hospitality!
The house and property is perfect set-up for a family or group to stay with a lot of fun game room options. Great location near Lambeau Field and Resch Center.
Before chasing a football career into my mid-thirties everywhere you can possibly imagine, I grew up a Cheesehead raised in Central Wisconsin. Stints abroad through sports and as an exchange student in high school gave me a travel bug that has yet to go away. I met my now wife while helping to build the sport of American football with a club in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Paulinha, that amazing and beautiful wife, luckily has the same itchy feet as I do. Over the past decade together, whether due to my football career, visa requirements, outside business, or just because a certain beach was calling, we have moved close to 20 times. While the nomadic lifestyle has been fun, a downside is we have never actually had a house to call our own. A return to Wisconsin, in part due to the pandemic, and in part to be around family while having our first son, persuaded us to change that and pick up this property. The Pigskin Journeyman House, along with housing many of the mementos I picked up in my football travels, was designed as best we could to have everything we would want in a home if we could ever settle down long enough in one place to purchase one.
This home is in the heart of the Lombardi Neighborhood, just a 10" walk from Lambeau Field. Across the street is a well kept public park with Tennis courts, a soccer/football field, playground equipment and baseball diamonds. The house itself was fully remodeled and pumped full of entertainment options that every family or group will love. Special shoutouts to my wife, Paulinha, and Ellie at Homeslice Stays (www.homeslicestays.com) for taking my vision and making the Pigskin Journeyman House look as good as it does now.
