Spectacular Estate Getaway bordering Apple and Pear Orchard! This contemporary log home is built for privacy and plenty of space. Still, just minutes from major highways (I87 and I84). Near all the Hudson valley has to offer including West Point, Hudson walkway, hiking trails, wineries and apple cider venues in and around town, including Benmarl, Stoutridge, Kedem, Weeds and Angry orchard. On the Shawangunk Wine Trail, and also near Buttermilk Falls Inn, with plenty of other restaurants/take-out nearby.

Excellent apartment well furnished and maintained; owners very responsive.

The apartment was clean and well-furnished.The owners Mike and Joyce were extremely responsive to our requests.My only word of caution is that the second bedroom is small and has two twin-sized bunk beds. The top bunk is accessed via a ladder. For a couple with kids this works great. For two adult couples, the couple in the bunk bedroom may not be comfortable.

Great apartment and great area to visit. Joyce and Mike are wonderful hosts and are most welcoming. This is our 2nd stay here, and we would definitely stay again!

Great Spot for a Weekend Visit

We loved the property and surrounding areas. Home was clean and the owner was very responsive. I appreciated the extra night lights that help with children navigating unfamiliar territory. I dropped one star overall simply because the kitchen lacked a dishwasher, the small coffee pot tended to overflow and leak, and the toaster oven took forever. These are small concerns and had I reached out the owner she may well have been able to address at least the smaller of the items, but we had jam packed days at West Point and very little time. I would definitely stay here again.

Had Hesitation; Happy I stayed

This place was absolutely beautiful. Sitting in an area surrounded by tall pines and on the edge of an orchard, is where you'll find yourself if you choose to stay here. My hesitating to book this place is due to wanting privacy; this is connected to a main house. However, it was extremely private. We were able to check in early due to a massive rain storm canceling our afternoon plans. The communication with the host was fast regarding the check in. We met the host as we were pulling in and she was a very pleasant lady. The kitchen was fully stocked, the couch was super comfy abs the master bed... oh my. I haven't slept thar well in a long time. So much so that when we left I looked at it to see what kind of mattress it was. This is a veteran owned and operated business. As a veteran,I have higher expectations for those kind of business... it did not disappoint. One evening they had a fire with some friends abs it was awesome to hear the laughter of the kids playing in the yard and people actually talking without having their head in a phone. 10 for 10 would recommend. Pro tip... if you stay here, recline the chase lounge back about a quarter of the way and you can use the couch as a side head rest for a wonderful afternoon nap.

Clean, cozy, beautiful space!

We loved our stay here! The listing was very accurate. The kitchen was easy to cook in, everything was clean, lots of natural light AND great blinds/curtains to block it out. Super spacious. Worked great for a 4 year old too. Comfortable sturdy seating options and nice vig kitchen table. I appreciate a more supportive mattress but these were definitely fine for a few days. Couch is great! Lots of storage. Very beautiful property and so nice to be surrounded by trees. Check in was a breeze and Joyce was great to communicate with. Would definitely come back here!

Guest house was as described, comfortable and clean with a fully-equipped kitchen. Gracious host greeted us on check in and was very responsive to our requests and questions. Lovely Cabin Apartment

We were visiting our West Point cadet for family weekend and had a wonderful stay at this cozy apartment in Marlboro. The place was very clean and inviting. The hosts were great. Check in and out were super easy. We enjoyed dining in Beacon and on the river's edge in Newburgh. The drive along the Hudson is beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Fall getaway

A friend and I wanted an easy Fall weekend getaway and this was the perfect place. It was clean, comfortable, and current with a warm cozy vibe. It’s also close to everything—not a long drive from NYC, and right nearby a few little towns and quaint shopping areas as well as wineries and orchards. Our hosts were also very communicative, messaging us a couple of times during our stay to make sure all was well.

Cozy + Comfortable

Spending a few days in the area with our son and a friend who are in college nearby. The communication from the host is top notch, the home is super cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and have marked this one as one to come back to.

Great place for a getaway

From the moment we got there until the moment we left, people in our party couldn't stop expressing how much we loved the place. Everything was so clean, classy and plentiful. When we turned off the road to get near the house, the views were incredible! Right away there's an old mill house museum and waterfall, followed by rolling hills. It was a foggy day so you could see the fog hugging the mountain. When you get to the house, you can smell the fresh air and walk a few minutes down to an adorable little waterfall (for some reason this area has a lot of waterfalls), or up the hill to a beautiful view of an apple/pear orchard. We couldn't decide whether we preferred walking around or staying inside, both options were so great! There are TWO private decks and an adorable, well-maintained garden right in front of one of them. Joyce is a sweet, very accommodating host, everything was well-stocked and organized. We would definitely come back. The area had something for everyone. We drove a few minutes to a bridge you can walk across over the Hudson, and then to a kosher winery, and then to the Vanderbilt mansion. Bottom line, gorgeous area, gorgeous property, awesome hosts! P.S. - my mother also wanted to write her own five-star review for this place but as far as I know you can only write one review per stay. Maybe next time :)
