Great Getaway

Our vacation was great. The location of the property was perfect as it beachfront but also slightly removed from the noise of the boardwalk blocks. The condo was nice and comfortable. I would book again.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our time at Beachy Keen the location was perfect with small kids easy to walk back and forth to the condo from the beach and the pool was a great size for them too. We were able to walk to the boardwalk area and it’s very convenient to lots of other shops and restaurants. The condo itself was clean and the space worked well for our family of 4.

Perfect location

We have been visiting CB annually for many years. We have stayed many places and this location was perfect - walking distance to the boardwalk and all the restaurants and shops. Not to mention right on the beach with private access! Would definitely stay here again! Rental company was communicative and so easy to work with!

Carolina Beach retreat.

Nice property. The only thing that was missing was a iron. We also had issues with a terrible smell from the outside garbage containers.

Great oceanfront location!

My friends and I enjoyed this property with it's easy access to the beach and also short walk to the Boardwalk area. One suggestion we had is that more seating be added to the balcony area. There's only two chairs, which doesn't match the occupancy of the unit.

Tranquil Beach Retreat

The pictures accurately reflected the property. The beach was steps away from the back door. Parking was roomy enough for an SUV, and the kitchen was stocked with enough basic pots, pans and dishes for our needs. We did have to purchase additional TP and a sponge to wash dishes. The keyless entry was very nice as there were no keys to have to keep track of. The location was excellent as it was a nice walk to the Boardwalk as well as several close places to grab a bite to eat. Loved this place and would recommend! I’d love to come back again.

Great place to stay!

Check in process was simple-pick up parking passes down the street and return upon leaving. However, I wish they could have just been left at the rental. We actually got to check in a little after noon instead of the specified 4:00pm check in. It worked out perfectly because we arrived in the area hours early and weren’t sure what to do. The pool is extremely small. The house was very clean. The pictures shown, of the living room specifically, were accurate but they portrayed the room to seem like it would be much larger.

Ok stay

We loved the property but had frustrations with the host. They were unhelpful with a WiFi issue which caused us to go without internet for 24 hours. We also had to stop by their office to pickup parking passes. Every other rental property leaves them in unit for us. For the price we paid, that convenience would have been nice.

Poor Check in/out process

Cleanlyness was decent. View-limited view of ocean. Check in process was way too complicated. Check out process was over the top. We had to clean property-when we are paying for a cleaning fee and gratuities. Lastly, while we forgot to return our parking pass which was just a lamenated piece of paper. They made us over night it. Or they would charge us 100 dollars. Not a friendly process. P

A Wonderful Vacation Condo

The condo was just as pictured and even exceeded my expectations. Pros- The condo was clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need, You are right on the beach, great views and sounds of the waves, Keyless entry was nice, plenty of room for a family of 4, washer and dryer, balcony was large enough for all of us and it was close to different shops and restaurants. Con’s- This is mostly just us being picky but parking was difficult due to a large bush in the parking spot for our condo. Every time we would leave or come back it would scrape the side of our vehicle. It’s needs to be trimmed back some. The pool is under sized for the amount of condos in the building. We enjoyed it because nobody else was out there but if another family would have came we would have left due to it being so small. Over all this condo gets a 5 stars! It was a wonderful place for our family and we would definitely return!

Nice place, but not as described

The listing advertised a bedroom with a twin over full bunk. However, it was a full size bed only. This pushed someone to the living room to sleep, which greatly restricted use of balcony and kitchen in the mornings when that person was sleeping. I am an early riser, but did not get to use the balcony and kitchen, nor freely leave the condo so that I wouldn’t wake the person who had to sleep on the couch due to the inaccurate description. The property manager never replied to my texts addressing this, but always answered my other questions. The parking spot was not covered and was extremely tight to park in. It was not advertised as covered; I only mention it to explain that is why it is so narrow. I feel the narrowness should be described- had I driven my bigger vehicle I would have struggled parking. There is a limited supply of towels and washcloths, which meant nearly daily laundry. It was a fairly nice place- I just feel it should have been advertised appropriately. The bedding situation was extremely frustrating, as I missed all my early morning activities and it was also frustrating that the property manager ignored my questions about this.

This property and rental was wonderful to stay at. We paid a bit more for a place to rent with a stellar location and this was it! It had all the amenities, plus more!
