Family Vacation

My husband & I brought our 2 teens & their friends. It was plenty of room for us all, very clean, & well stocked. The distance to the beach was only about a 2 min walk, & 1 min to the pool. It was very well located to downtown, restaurants, & only a block away from a DG market. We had a great time!

Excellent

This was the best I have experienced. The booking was easy and Tara was the best.She was always available. I did have a small problem with the password for the Wi-Fi but she took care of immediately. The condo was beautiful and fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. I would highly recommend booking with her. Thank you Tara for making this a very comfortable vacation.

Quiet family spot

Located close to the beach, nice to be where vehicles are not allowed on the beach. The only disadvantage is that nothing (stores, restaurants) is necessarily within walking distance. The unit itself was clean, a little outdated, but fine. The beds were not comfortable at all! Unless one prefers a mattress that's hard as a rock, which I understand some do. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Place is nice. Had trouble with palmetto bugs. Went to office and they sent in Bug people. They took care of problem. Guest bathroom toilet would not stop running. Maintenance people came in and fixed problem. Room had a musky smell upon arrive. Burned provided scent candle which cleared up smell. When candle was not burning smell came back. All complaints were handle in timely manner Condo is very nice. Would consider coming bac in the future. n

Needs upgrading

We first checked in . The place smelled of mold and mildew.We had to vacuum all sand off the floor and mop. Just what someone wants to do when they start a vacation . They only had 4 dining chairs — the fifth dining chair had 3 legs. That was a problem with a family of 5. We went to bed the first night and we had to wash all sheets and comforters- All three beds including the pull out couch was FULL of sand . Obviously they need to fire the cleaning person . On our last evening there , the dryer broke . So we were unable to clean any laundry or towels . The back porch had a metal and glass table that was literally falling apart , dropping rust everywhere. It was a danger to the kids being barrfoot. I was going to take the junk to the dumpster but figured I might get charged This place should not be rented . VRBO needs to remove this property available until the owners want to make money and do some renovations . Might I add the property management place was excellent and said they would personally inspect the condo when we checked out , please stay away from this unit !!!! Don’t give money to slum lords !!

The unit was VERY outdated and had tiny ants and cockroaches. All food had to be put into the refrigerator or else it would be ruined because bugs would get into it. The beds were awful!! However, it was close to the beach and the pool was extremely nice.

Definitely WOULD NOT Recommend This Unit

This unit is within an easy walk to the beach and multiple pools in the complex. However, the negatives far outweigh the positives. The screen door (tried to post a picture here, but unable to do so in this review; must be blocked by VRBO) does not provide a good first impression given it is broken and does not close completely. The door was very hard to open (had trouble with both keys continually sticking when locking and unlocking the door). The overhead light as you enter the unit did not work. It appears that part of the unit was renovated (e.g., tile floors throughout and bathroom closest to the kitchen); however, the shower floor in the master bathroom should be replaced immediately. We ended up not using it given how bad it was. The handle on the refrigerator door is missing and several of the shelves are partially rusted. Several of the dishes, pots, pans and silverware were not clean. There was a tear at the top of the sheet in the master bedroom. Several of the towels that were 'clean' were very old with multiple spots (again, tried to post a picture here, but unable to do so). When we returned the keys, one of the employees at the management company admitted that there were definitely updates that needed to be done. We highly recommend not staying in this unit until the items above have been corrected.

Great Comdo

The condo was clean and nice. We were a 1 min walk to one of the 3 community pools. The pools never had more than one other family and we're very clean and well maintained! We were about a 5 min walk to the beach which was amazing! The condo itself had everything we needed and more! Thank you so much for making this part of our vacation perfect!

Family Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful time staying in this unit. There was plenty of room for my husband and I and our two children to spread out. The kitchen was very well stocked and there were ample cleaning products available. It is very close to the beach (no driving on the beach here, which we loved!) and the pool was great! We would definitely stay here again!

Stay away from this one

I would definitely stay away from this one and this management company. When we went in, the smell was awful. Had to purchase a lot of room spray to help. The floors were beyond nasty and had to be mopped several times. That still didn't get them clean. I took pictures of how black the mop was but can't upload here. The wifi password given to us was incorrect. No one from management company addressed this until Monday after 2 days without wifi, and then they just gave us the neighbors code. We called the management company and left 2 messages with property manager,and I still haven't received a call back after almost a week. Unless you just really want to spend your vacation money on cleaning supplies and your time cleaning, I would not book this one.

Close to beach

Very close to the beach but was a bit of a walk to the beach and steep boardwalk. The condo was nice but could use updating the table that was outside was completely rusted and had rusted metal pieces that kept falling on the ground so i had to constantly keep vacuuming since we had to babies with us that are just learning to crawl. The beds definitely need to be updated if you like sleeping on a rock then you’re good. Otherwise it was a nice stay they had plenty of cooking supplies.

Great condo, terrible people

The condo was clean, spacious and in good repair. We were very pleased with the unit itself. However, we will probably not return because of the residents in the community. The older people who live there seem to strongly dislike vacationers. They were extremely rude and made us dread going to the pool or anywhere within the Seawoods community for that matter. One last went as far as accusing us of trespassing and teaching our children to be dishonest. Just because we were at the pool nearest to her home and she didn't recognize us. If you don't mind being treated like a trespassing criminal, then this is a great place. If you want to feel welcome and at ease, go somewhere else.
