Imagine waking up in a king-sized bed, in a spacious suite thatâs just steps away from a refreshing pool. Welcome to the Jardin Suite, your home away from home. This suite is perfect for adults who value comfort and accessibility.
Youâll have a large safe to secure your personal items, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and double sinks. Need to whip up a quick meal or a cup of coffee? No problem! Your living room is equipped with a kitchen that has a 4 top gas burner stove, microwave, refrigerator, and a coffee pot.
Need more sleeping space? The sofa pulls out into two twin mattresses. And if youâre bringing extra guests, we can accommodate them for a small additional charge.
Stay connected with our free WiFi and enjoy your favorite shows on the smart TV. And the best part? The Jardin Suite is located on the first floor and is handicapped accessible, making it easy for everyone to enjoy.

Susan is from New Jersey and graduated from UCONN and had worked for several years in the bar& restaurant industry and then pursued pharmaceuticals after college. She has been working in the restaurant industry for the past 4 years as Managing Partner/Owner of Farm to Fork in Leander TX. Sue has traveled the world and been many places and understands both sides of vacation travel experiences, and the service industry. Which is a great combination of expertise to ensure the experience we want to offer at Casa de Jardin.
Shelley is from Texas and is a US Army Veteran served in Germany for 2 years. Shelley graduated Le Cordon Bleu back in 2006. Shelley worked for VSM Brands as a corporate research and development chef of recipes that are used for large retail warehouse stores, she then became a successful chef/restaurant owner of a little place called Farm to Fork in Leander, Texas (North of Austin). She is wanting to create and offer a more personalized service in a more relaxed atmosphere to create the perfect StayCation Foodie Vacation Experience.
Together we have over 20 years of bar and restaurant/hospitality background. We want to offer a relaxing vacation for our guests who come to our bed and breakfast. We love to talk about Isla Mujeres: places to visit, special points of interest, excellent places for dinner and do's and dont's while in Isla Mujeres! We do take time at check in and make sure you feel at home. It's your time off, so feel comfortable, relax and enjoy!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
We searched for property for a couple of years and we eventually found two lots that the locals called âThe Jungle lotsâ it took a while to see the vision. Some of our friends who have property on the island said that this would be a great place for us to put down roots on this tropical paradise, so we decided to go for it. We made the right choice!
We started the project in 2019 and then moved here in November 2019 fulltime waiting for the completion of the build and then covid hit. We were able to stay in the sol suite for almost 7 months while waiting on business to open back up to complete the process. It took a little longer than expected and we love the way it turned out. It was built to share and we hope that our place makes you feel at home while on your StayCation.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
We actually used graph paper to design La Casa de Jardin much to the surprise of friends and guests . Many have made many comments that we have thought of everything, which is what we were wanting to accomplish. We wanted to build a place that we would vacation at and added the accommodations we expect when traveling.
We have 3 pools on the property. The ground floor pool is heated and the other two have views of the Caribbean Sea and Cancun Bay from our top palapa. The rooms are very large and spacious. We could have added extra rooms to increase the number of rooms for rent, but wanted a more intimate setting that was more comfortable for our guests.
We are a Bed & Breakfast with a Le Cordon Bleu Chef. Shelley Pogue attended The Texas Culinary Academy in Austin TX a Le Cordon Bleu affiliate in 2005. Shelley and Susan owned Farm to Fork, a farm to table restaurant located in Leander Texas. They sold Farm to Fork in 2019 to move to Isla Mujeres Mexico and oversee the build of La Casa de Jardin.
We are located on the Punta Sur end of Isla Mujeres which is quiet, and peaceful for the perfect relaxing staycation. We offer concierge services to have your room stocked with pantry items, beverages, chilled champagne, wine or charcuterie boards upon arrival. Private chef lunch or dinner options available during your stay, breakfast is included, excursions, golf carts and dinner reservations can be made for you upon request.
