As part of your reservation, you’ll enjoy access to a full breakfast buffet at Magnolia’s at 26th, just a short walk from the hotel. Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. You will enjoy free Blockbuster rentals during your stay.

All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program offers one free ticket from up to three partners per reservation. Additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on our property-specific websites. Children's activities are available each summer from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, and pool games! Snowbird activities are available each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, and Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets!

Things to Know
The spa / hot tub are undergoing a replacement project to install a brand-new 10-seat spa/hot-tub. In order for this upgrade to be completed on time, the spa/hot-tub area will be closed and unavailable for usage until the beginning of 2025. Guests are encouraged to use Bluegreen Resort’s spa/hot-tub free of charge during this upgrade.**** Bluegreen Resort (Carolina Grand) is located across the street.

Nice little getaway

Really enjoyed our stay, second year in a row. Great location. Our air conditioner was not working when we checked in so we told the front office and by the time we came back that night they had replaced with a new unit, which we greatly appreciated

The location is great, right off the beach. Pool areas for the kids. Quick access to board walks. The front desk is not very friendly, and having to do towel exchanges for clean towels is cumbersome with all the sand and water close by. Overall the stay and room were nice.

Absolute Nightmare!! Be sure to confirm your reservation multiple times!

This was the absolute worst hotel experience. It was not due to the front staff at the actual hotel. It was the booking process. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and tried to help as much as possible. The frustration was with Vacasa. I booked my hotel in January 2022. I used the hotel's website https://www.carolinianbeachresort.com/ On this site, I was allowed to book a room for 2 nights for a stay in Myrtle Beach for my daughter's cheer competition held March 18-20. I used my American Express to book the hotel which was permitted on the website since Am. Exp was the first option in the dropdown of "Card Type" The conditions said it would charge me the first night and then I would pay the remaining balance later. I was fine with that so I booked the hotel. I received a confirmation email immediately saying I had paid $215 and then still owe $215. I was provided a confirmation number. Fast Forward to March, my check-in day. After driving over 6 hours we arrived at the hotel only to find that our reservation had been cancelled in February by their group reservations (Vacasa). Up until that point I had received ZERO communication from the Carolinian Beach Resort (and had no idea they were booked by Vacasa). All of the rooms were filled but they put us in a room that had just been vacated due to an emergency. We waited over an hour for that room and finally got into a room late Friday night! We were exhausted. The room was not an ocean front which I had originally booked but I didn't care at that point. That evening I spoke with a Vacasa representative who asked me to email them the confirmation I had and also the website info where it accepted the American Express. I did so. Then I never heard back. So the next morning we are out the door early for a competition. We get back mid afternoon. My girls are changing clothes and in walks a man and woman who were able to reserve our room. It was terrible. So we all went to the front desk where they tried to get things straight again! At this point, my girls were devastated. We went to a late lunch and then upon returning to the hotel our key wouldn't work. I went back to the front desk again only to find out they are supposed to evict us for no payment per Vacasa! The poor front desk staff didn't understand what was going on either. I then lost it. I had not heard back from Vacasa. I told them to charge my other credit card and just let us get through this last night (we were leaving at 6:45am) and I would take it up with Vacasa. They did so... (this could have all been done on Friday). They charged my card again and we finally made it through the weekend. It was a horrible stay. I worried about someone else walking in during the night hours and just couldn't rest. I will never stay here again or deal with Vacasa... Oh and while I was waiting at the front desk for them to fix my hotel key card, a man had come in with his reservation after paying over $1500 and traveling 26 hours only to find out they didn't have a reservation for him either! I spoke with others that also said this had happened to them as well. So Be Careful and confirm your reservation before you go every week!!

Place is not like the pictures

The overall property is dirty, old and worn out. Our condo was next to the laundry room and was so loud. The tub was gross.

Last minute vacation

Everything was great until I saw the room I had. No ocean view and no kitchen like it said I would have! When I booked this room those were the 2 requirements me and daughter wanted because we were bringing my 3 grandkids and wasn’t planning to eat out. I’m just glad we waited to go to the grocery store! Someone changed the description about it having a kitchen but last I saw it still said ocean view. Smh
