With modern appliances and enough wood paneling to please any cabin fan, this is a great spot to get away and enjoy the woods of Sunriver! Set right along a bike path, this cabin is all set up to host a fun group retreat in the woods. If you're a fun of outdoor dining, the private gas grill and outside picnic table may lead to many nights of outdoor cooking. The full open kitchen includes helpful amenities like a stainless steel farm sink. After dinner, everyone can play board games around the gas fireplace. Younger guests can enjoy the bunk area in the loft. Even the family dog is welcome to come along and enjoy the cabin. Guests are also free to enjoy the shared hot tub and pool facilities at the Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic & Recreation Center (SHARC).

The Village at Sunriver is just one (very walkable) mile from this cabin, so guests will be able to easily access fun restaurants and local stores. Walking and biking are always options in Sunriver, which is home to over 30 miles of paved biking and walking trails. Head over to the Sunriver Nature Center and Observatory (just over three miles by car and two miles on foot) to learn more at the USA's largest publicly accessible observatory. If you're itching for a bigger town, Bend's breweries and shopping centers are just 18 miles away. Don't forget to stop at the High Desert Museum on the way!

Great place to stay in Sunriver

Clean and cozy! Kitchen is well stocked, great location right on a bike path close to the Resort and Village area. BBQ was easy to use. Office staff was friendly and attentive. Would definitely return!

A place to stay

Some places are just a place to stay and others add that personal touch to make your stay an experience. This was a cute ol’ musty cabin right off the bike path. We had fun watching bikers try to make it up the hill through the beautiful double glass door All in all, good location and comfortable bed.

Pleasant, quiet, peaceful. Some road noise but nothing too bad. The layout of the cabin is great, it was better than expected. Only neg would be the carpets are dirty/stained, overdue for replacement. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Excellent family cabin

The house was very well setup with all the necessary items for a family stay. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, cookwear, flatwear. The king bed was incredibly firm, and the pillows not very supportive so bring your own. The downstairs shower head was very basic, hot water was plentiful and pressure was great just a basic shower head.

Comfy, cozy, and clean

The location was just what we wanted woodsy, rustic and quiet. The cabin was clean, efficient, and cozy. The bed was comfortable, and everything worked as it should, although the shower water faucet was really hard to move. It took two hands and a lot of muscle! This in no way took away from the pleasure of our stay.

The gas fireplace would not lite and it was a little cold at night. Furnance worked to heat bedroom area of the cabin. Maintenance did come out but could not lite the fire place. Walking maps of the area would have been great.

Fantastic cabin

We absolutely loved this little cabin. It’s a short 7 min bike ride to the village with kids. We did have trouble getting into the property as the door code given didn’t work. But VRBO quickly gave us the physical key and we enjoyed the house. The kitchen is well stocked with tons of pots, pans, dishes, and basic cooking supplies. They had beach towels for the 6 SHARC passes. There were a few kid games and other extras that help when you have a few kids. All in all I would have given 5 stars but the inconvenience when we arrived was difficult to overcome. We would definitely return to this dog friendly property.

Not the vacation we expected!

On the original post this cabin stated it had AC...it did not. We arrived during a 100 degree heatwave. If we had known it didn't have AC we would not have booked this cabin. We also came home to a bats (3) and had to leave early. Unfortunately, the no A/C (it was marketed with A/C) and the bats altered our vacation while we were there and cut it short.

Did not go as planned

The cabin was acceptable and decently clean. We went for a weekend conference there at Sunriver, but my husband came down with food poisoning our first night so things did not go as we had planned. Main concern is we were unable to gain access with the provided code so had to call and get other directions to gain access to the cabin, and no indication as to where the main garbage was to put the trash in. The other concern is due to my husband getting food poisoning we accidentally left two articles of clothing and have had a hard time getting confirmation if they were found, if so can they will ship them to us at our cost. Otherwise nice area and love the walking paths everywhere.

Pros and Cons

The cabin is a great place and great location. There are couple updates the cabin needs to make and also update the description and amenities the cabin offers. The dishwasher needs replacing. It was very unsanitary and very outdated. The washer dryer is also very outdated. There was no hot tub attached to the cabin. This needs to be corrected. It is misleading. The hot tub is in the community center and it is limited access. The only time you can use it is between 7am and 530pm. Wish we knew the hot tub was not at the house. If the information in the description was accurate, we would give it a 5 starts. The best part is the HOT water. The water was hotter than the hot tub and perfect for a bubble bath.

Not great for summer

The cabin and all the linens were clean so that was great! We didn’t plan to spend much time there so I didn’t think air conditioning was necessary but I was wrong. This house got hot. Even with the fans and opening it up at night, sleep was hard. It’s also just a super old cabin and has noisy floors so it made it hard for the kids to sleep if anyone else was up. I’ve stayed in probably 15 cabins over the 20 years I’ve been coming to Sunriver and this one is probably my least favorite.

Small cozy cottage good for single family

Great location within Sunriver, cozy cottage with a nice deck facing the bike trail. The home has one full size bathroom and two bedrooms with doors, so it does well with one small-ish family. The kitchen has had some updates and had everything we needed for a home cooked meal. Loved the SHARC passes and used the bikes that were in the storage unit. Would stay here again.

We loved how quite the area is. The walking trails were wonderful. Although more locations markers would be nice. I got lost a couple times. The cabin was nice and cozy. Everything worked great.

Nice cabin in the woods, well stocked and appliances very good. Recliners in living room were saggy. Dozens of lights and outlets. Close to Sunriver Village.

Great little cabin

We enjoyed our stay in this great little cabin. It was quiet and comfortable and had everything we needed. The only thing that could have made it a better stay in the middle of summer is central air. But the house was stocked with fans which we were very grateful for. Worked great for pulling cool air in at night and locking the house up during the day.

Cute Cabin

Overall the Cabin is very cute, quaint, clean and close to everything and also secluded which is great. Comfy and cozy feel dog friendly. 3 stars for the reasons below. The reason I gave 3 stars is the following: 1. When we arrived the cabin smelled really badly of cleaning products/chemicals. We had to open all the windows and avoided a bathroom for a whole day. I’d recommend they rethink the products they clean with and think about toxins they are exposing guests to as well as those sensitive to smells and scented cleaners. Was not nice. They also must vacuum with the powder you sprinkle on the carpet and that smelled horrible as well and the smell never went away. 2. Sharc passes are not valid Monday - Friday since they are only open on Saturday and Sunday right now. When we booked they advertised Sharc passes and pool and hot tub availability. This was not true on the days we were there Sun 4pm - Tues 10am. It took 45 minutes on the phone and literal bargaining to get Vacasa to refund me some money($100) for this loss and inaccurate information. In my opinion way to long and should of been taken care of 15 minutes top. I say this because it was an error on the listing and not something I misread. I also didn’t like that everyone I spoke to wasn’t even in Oregon and had to send messages to get any type of response from the manager in charge. This vacation was planned for my 3 kids and was an absolute blow to me. We found a place in Bend and drove there twice to have some type of swimming. Note: I called Vacasa prior to my check in for this mis-information. I called the Sharc Center myself Saturday to get hours and was informed of their slim hours. If I wouldn’t have called I would of been completely out of luck to have my kids enjoy their vacation. Every water place even in Bend required reservations and I was lucky to get late swims in. Note this cost me gas, fees to swim and a lot of drive time. 3. There is misinformation on checkout. When we arrived there was a folder with info and directions on check in check out from owners. It states check out is 12pm, but on Vacasa it states check out 10am. I called Vacasa and left a message asking for confirmation and never got a call back. This to me is very unprofessional and bad customer service on Vacasa’s end. I can’t say I enjoyed this stay because of the above. It’s felt very chaotic, unorganized and stressful. Vacasa needs to update this listing and treat the customers way better then I was. I unfortunately wouldn’t use them to book again because their accommodation to the mistakes above were not properly taken care of. I wish I could leave more stars as I’ve never had a bad experience with them before but this time it was the worst vacation we had. No one ever bothered to call me either from Vacasa.

Lovely Cabin, Wonderful Time

We book this cabin a couple weeks before, we had decided to have a quick get away. It was lovely. The cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable. And one of the guests LOVED the skylight in the bathroom. She had a great bath and enjoyed the stars. A herd of deer came by every morning. While we didn't cook, the kitchen was fully stocked with plates, silverware, spices, etc. Highly recommend this cabin.
