Would not recommend

The property was clean, but there were numerous things wrong. When we let the rental company know, they declined to do anything about it. When we informed them of the wasp swarm on the balcony, we were told to shut the door and not go out there. Very disappointing. This unit is in need of repair and someone should provide a step ladder to get into the bed!

Reviewer Comments: I am dissatisfied the unit is not in good condition there was a broken bed, the remaining two are old and make an annoying noise, the toilet downstairs is broken, the television in the room does not work, I reported the problem to the maintenance and they never arrived, the pest control ones arrived very early to disturb while my children slept

Amazing View!

Reviewer Comments: We were pleasantly surprised that the actual condo looked just like the VRBO photos. Beautiful! Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pots & pans, everything we needed. So relaxing waking up looking out window of the incredible view of the oceans.Parking lot is a little tight, but we worked it out. Overall, outstanding stay and would rent from them again!

Family Stay

Overall this property was good for the price. The location is great, distance to beach is perfect for families with small children. A downside to the property was the cleanliness as there was dirty clothes left behind under the bed in the kids room. Bedding was less than comfortable and master bed mattress was uncomfortable, hard and very noisy/creaky. The view is great for sitting and watching the waves and catching the sunset. The property would benefit from having an addition child lock in the balcony door.

Great place but needs some minor work

It’s a great place with a great view from both the balcony and the master bedroom. I’d have given this place a five if some small things were taken care of. There was trash on stairs and dirty underwear under the bed and puzzle pieces under the couch when we moved in. Cleaners definitely didn’t do a very good job. Then a lot of little things like The balcony didn’t lock, ice in freezer didn’t come out the front of door, a bed leg wasn’t attached, some outlets by bed didn’t work, one shower didn’t drain when in use, on tv had no channels. None were major just kind of added up to a nuisance. I would definitely stay here again though. I loved the area as it wasn’t real crowded. You could look up and down beach and see tons of people but it wasn’t bad on our piece of beach.

LOVED BEING ON THE BEACH!

We enjoyed our time here for sure. The only thing was that the floor was dirty and the beds not the best. It was nice being right on the beachfront.

Mostly!!

The only issue was the parking garage is extremely tight for all vehicles. There is some SUV parking available outside of the garage area but they literally measure the length of your vehicle and issue tickets for 6” too long. That was an unpleasant experience. There are a few maintenance (painting) issues with the property but gorgeous views!

Amazing Two Level Top Views

Great location in Central Myrtle for things to do both North and just South but not too far South and family friendly environment. Great location and spot for golfers too. Only negative is the primary bed needs a new mattress and no washer and dryer in the unit. Laundry Mat was easy to use but it is old school coin operated/antiquated.

Best view on the beach

Ocean Forest Plaza 2 bedroom has a great view of the beach. Floor to ceiling window in master bedroom. Unit is updated and comfortable to stay in. The building is an hour walk to the main area of Myrtle Beach. Very quiet neighborhood. Parking for cars is very tight in building - need to be a good driver to maneuver around. Large SUV's and trucks get to park outside. Crave restaurant within walking distance - very good food! Went to a Winery one day - lots of fun listening to the performer outside while sipping back a glass of wine. Building is old but kept in good condition. Only negative was that the box springs need to be replaced - they squeak.

Terrible property

This property was terrible. The beds were awful and noisy. The linens were dirty. Not enough bathroom towels and kitchen towels. The lamps were broken, the televisions didn’t work. The parking was very tight in the garage and the overflow parking was not enforced for larger SUV’s . Paying to wash resort towels is unacceptable.

Stunning View

The huge bedroom window was amazing for waking up to the sunrise every morning. The bedrooms are spacious and the kitchen and living room were good. Check in with Palmetto was quick and easy, very friendly people.

Time to Reset

One being the beds. They were very noisy. They need to be replaced. We couldn’t get the television to work in the living area. During my stay we had an category 1 Hurricane. The place held up well. We loss power and water over night. No fault of Palmetto rentals. Everything was restored quickly. I will return once the beds are updated. Great place. Roomy and a home away from home. 1 minute from beach access.

Amazing View

Excellent property with an absolutely amazing view. Everything was as expected. Only suggestion is the master bedroom mattress is very sucky. For the price paid for this unit I would have expected better.

The whole building was without power and water for 3 hrs because of a power pole getting hit behind the unit. Other than these things everything else was great.

Be advised

While the view was beautiful, the rental wasn’t very clean, half of the lightbulbs didn’t work, and the bed was unbearably loud and uncomfortable. I text the number provided in the paperwork, never got a text back until the next day telling me to text a different number. We ended up not being there enough for it to matter. There is a lot of room, but no cleaning supplies and the kitchen equipment was old and really needs to be replaced. Im usually not a picky person, but this just missed the mark for us. I hope they update some things for future visits.
