You are going to fall in love with this beautiful restored 1900 two-story Victorian house in the heart of Sedalia. This stunner has 2 sitting rooms, a fully stocked kitchen to cook your own gourmet meals, a dining room that seats 6, 3 bedrooms with 2 queen and 2 twin beds, 2 full baths with one on each floor, utility room with washer and dryer, and a relaxing front porch. Located just five blocks from the Katy Trail and downtown and 1.5 miles from the State Fair and Community College.
First impression was the same as pictured. It was clean and open. Didnât have time to utilize the whole house but the upstairs bathroom is very nice and roomy and beds were comfortable.
The house is set in a typical small town âwell lived and lovedâ neighborhoodâone that I happened to have been raised in as a young person, so I loved it! It made a great gathering place for me, my sister, and cousins. Plenty of space to hang out in the sitting rooms or playing games around the table. But the best spot was on the front porch!
Wonderful old house located between Downtown and the fairgrounds. The beds were comfortable and the home had everything we needed for a family trip. The neighborhood is older and some the neighborâs homes are a bit run down, but you canât blame this owner for that. We felt safe and wouldnât hesitate to book here again. Great stay.
House was impeccably clean. Beds were very comfortable. Front porch was the best part. Plenty of seating and a porch swing. Itâs where we spent most of our stay. Will definitely rent this place again.
The home was very beautiful and had a home type feel to it. The neighbor next door was very nice as well. Worth every penny. Our kids enjoyed their stay and loved that a park was nearby.
This house was great for our family. Plenty of room for everyone. Very clean and just as pictured. The home has been very well kept. We really enjoyed hanging out on the front porch
Beautiful and charming home with historic details but modern features. Large living and dining rooms were great for our group. Big bedrooms and bathrooms.
Great location Home was very clean. Decorated nicely. Could use a large frying pan mirrors in bedrooms and maybe a fire pit in backyard. Enjoyed our stay in this house
The home is the perfect little place for a family or couple to stay. Just off the main roads of Sedalia, nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Each room is put together perfectly. Every aspect was great! The beds are so comfortable! Communication with host is fabulous also!!!
This was our second stay at this property and we love coming back. The house is so clean and spacious. Sara is so attentive and we never have any issues. We love staying here when we come to the area.
It was a beautiful old house with everything you could need in it. Beautifully updated while leaving some of the old charm. We had a wonderful stay. Neighborhood was quiet and enjoyed the front porch too. Sara was wonderful to answer all my questions. Great place to stay.
The hosts are very hospitable with open communication, ehich is a great quality, especially if you have questions.
The home is a small piece of history itself with original original hardware found here and there with hardwood floors too. Dont panic it has updated amenities, wifi, and all the modern creature comforts too. However the old and the new are well combined here.
The house is fully stocked with everything you would need to "live" except for groceries. Thats of course would be on thw guests. The location is quit sonyou can sleep sound in a nice neighborhood, but close enough to town that you can get delivery or walk if need be.
Highly recommend.
The home was beautiful inside and out. It was very spacious for a Ladies Long Weekend. The amenities were wonderful and the outdoor bench swing was so fun. The decor was very bright and cheerful. The home was very clean. Sara the host is very sweet. We will definitely be staying here again. Sara and her home deserves 10 stars. đđđ
