Greenbrier Hotel Resort and beautiful sunsets.
I really enjoyed all the little touches around the house that makes one appreciate the 50's. The bed was so comfy and I loved the quilt on it too. Sitting on the back porch during a thunderstorm was very peaceful, would totally stay here again!
House was advertised. Clean and more than sufficient size wise. We only overnighted there as we were passing through to South Carolina but we certainly enjoyed exploring the house and itâs history.
Decent place to stay if youâre passing through and only need a place to lay your head, which is what we were doing. It wasnât a great fit for our family of 6.A few things not mentioned: âąupstairs (where our kids slept) is cooled by window fan units âąthere are cats that come to the back porch- cat allergies arenât an issue for us but I can see that being a problem for others if they wanted to enjoy the deck area. We didnât go out there either wayA few things to improve:âąbathroom doorways stick and have to be pushed hard to openâągrass needed cut
This house is very charming and clean. Anita is a great host and I will plan to stay there again. It is a perfect halfway point when we go to the beach and much easier with our dog than a hotel. I absolutely recommend it.
My family of three stayed here for two days. This home is beautifully decorated and will take you back in time to the 1950âs. There are two full-sized bathrooms on the first floor, a large kitchen, and enough space to accommodate 10 people to eat in 3 different rooms. We made homemade quiche for breakfast and the appliances worked great! The living room is spacious with plenty of seating and we enjoyed relaxing and watching movies. We ate at Moeâs Pizza one night. Itâs very close to this home and the food is delicious! This guest house is perfect for families and would be a great location for a girlsâ getaway weekend.
We were in town for a funeral all the way from Colorado. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood and close to businesses you may need during your stay or remote enough to enjoy a peaceful getaway. House was very comfortable and had everything you needed. Host was responsive & accommodating.
For the price this was a great deal. Lots of room and a beautiful view out the back of the home. This was a stop on our trip farther south. Very clean home.
Such an awesome place. The host was attentive and welcoming. A special touch of brownies and coke for a treat upon arrival made us feel at home. A definite keeper for future visits. Love, love, loved this place! XOXOX â€ïž
This house is wonderful! So well taken care with timeliness beauty and charm!
Anita has tidbits of history throughout the house!
The location is nestled in with the locals in a private setting and just close enough to amenities.
Anita was very helpful and answered all questions immediately. House is in a nice country setting and has some nice amenities (fire pit, BBQ, cool lower deck overlooking woods, and more). Our 10 year old loved the complementary brownies and soda! Clean and comfortable place.
Attended the Northfork class of 51 reunion @ Pipestem so the cottage was perfect for the occasion! Beautifully decorated quaint, quiet home with a lovely host just a phone call away. The outdoor kitties were a plus! We highly recommend this property!
