Mountain View Manor is a contemporary home filled with amenities and luxury finishes. Explore Southern Vermont, hit the slopes at Okemo, take in the view from our hot tub, and visit the restaurants and shops in town. Okemo ski area is less than 5 min away and you are within 30 minutes of Killington/Pico, Stratton, Bromley, and Magic. Earn your views and earn your turns as you can ski (or snowmobile) out to a private ski run or access Vermont's famous VAST trail system.

4WD Vehicles are a MUST in the winter - mountain conditions should be expected.

Hiking Trails on property with views of Okemo - just walk out the backdoor. Makes for great snowshoeing in the winter

Stunning views!

David was extremely responsive to all our questions! Spacious home, big enough for our family to gather for Thanksgiving. Kitchen had virtually everything we needed and the popcorn maker was a big hit with the grandkids. Beds very comfortable. Close to ski areas, Vt Country Store, Woodstock, etc. Lots to do in the area.

Incredible view and perfect for large crowds!`

While we did not have a very large party (only 7 people total), this house was an incredible house to host a girls' weekend. The hot tub on the deck allowed us to enjoy the views in the morning with a cup of coffee. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were super comfy. The owner is very attentive and answered our questions quickly. We stayed during "Stick Season" in VT which meant a lot of things were closed, however, the house provided a great location for making our own food and hanging out. Highly recommend staying at Mountain View Manor.

Perfect home for a big family celebration!

Big families are wonderful, but it can be hard to find a place where everyone fits comfortably — and this house had it all! It was spacious enough to host 13 people and five dogs with ease. The kitchen was well-equipped, the outdoor spaces were inviting, and the views were beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate my mom’s 86th birthday. We’ll definitely be coming back next year!

Great for large groups

This house was a great setting for a large group of adults and kids; plenty of room to spread out and places for everyone to sleep. Close enough to swimming holes and breweries during the day, and our sunset bonfires had a great view. It was really helpful that essentials were already at the house, and it was clean. Communication with the host was top notch!

Great secluded spot

Great property and host. Tucked into the mountains, nice view from deck. Responsive and accommodating host. We stayed in June, but even dry the driveway is challenging. David is very clear about the need for 4wd in winter and that is no exaggeration.

Great Cabin Property

The cabin was beautiful and had lots of space for our guests. Plenty of room for parking and all our vehicles were able to ascend the steep hills up to the home. Kitchen says it is fully stocked, but was missing mixing bowls and could’ve used a few more cooking utensils. Decent selection of spices. Within a short distance to the downtown area where there are cute restaurants and a couple coffee shops, and Okemo is a stones throw away. A few of the places downtown are seasonal so just double check they are open! We end noted our stay very much and would recommend.

Million Dollar View

Dave the host, was very accommodating and accessible. House was supplied with above average variety of items as compared to other rentals. Very short drive to Okemo. Great for family and friends and accommodates large groups.

Great weekend

Rented this for a long fall weekend. It was great base for doing things in the area like hiking and golfing. Kitchen is fully stocked and we cooked dinner two of the nights we were there. Everything was clean and well cared for. There were bedrooms on three floors so everyone had a place to sleep. The driveway up the hill is steep which wasn't a problem for us but in the winter it would be difficult without four wheel drive. The views were definitely worth it.

Beautiful location and comfortable house with great amenities.

A wonderful place for a large group to spend time, surrounded by fantastic views. The extended property includes a lovely wilderness trail up the mountainside in the forest. The house is very comfortable and well-maintained.

Amazing place, great for large groups and families to disconnect and have quality time

We loved how open it felt and connected between the kitchen and living room on the second floor. Kitchen is stocked with utensils and plates for everyone. Enough bedrooms for everyone to have privacy and the downstairs living room with the pop corn machine was another hit. We will repeat for sure

Family Ski Trip

Our family had a wonderful time staying here for a family ski trip! Dave was super responsive and helpful with anything that popped up during our stay. The house is perfectly located to Jackson Gore - just a 10 minute drive. We were also close to a bunch of restaurants. The kids had a great time in the bunk room!
